I started as an absolute beginner and sat for the first time behind the wheel with Martin. I was super nervous and anxious, but the good thing about Martin is he keeps his calm and knows what he is doing. And in no time I was driving on the road (under his supervision or my friends). I booked my DDC with him as well, and learnt a lot about hazards, risks and driving conditions etc. For me the best part of doing this course is knowing that what I am doing is right and not feeling pressured by the cars behind/around me. I feel I have better understanding of the road code and driving conditions that helps me make better decisions while I am driving. I would totally recommend taking lessons with Martin and doing the Defensive Driving Course.

Martin is a fantastic driving instructor - very calm, approachable, and structured in his coaching. I was a very anxious adult driver but after my lessons and the defensive driving course I feel much more confident, capable and safe behind the wheel. Working with Martin was well worth the investment and his teaching background shines through with very effective teaching methods. I passed both my restricted and full tests with no errors and greatly attribute this to Martin’s coaching. Thank you, Martin!

Martin is an amazing driving instructor. He is very patient and hels you learn fantastic skills for being a safe driver. I passed my full test today and thanks to Martin, the test was just a piece of cake. Highly recommend him.

I took an hour long lesson/refresher instruction drive with Martin the day before sitting my full drivers licence test last week. So happy I did, as I passed with zero errors! Even as a confident and experienced driver, I definitely credit Martin for a large part of my confidence during the test, and the ability to pass with a 100% score. He provided feedback on basic driving habits I already had, provided some pointers, and helped me to refine my knowledge of what to expect in the licence test. I highly recommend! :)

I'd failed my restricted twice and gone through a few driving instructors before Martin. I credit his methodical and practical teaching techniques with passing my third try with flying colours! He has made me a far more aware driver and I remember things he taught me every time I drive. I really appreciate that he aims for best driving practice, rather than "enough to pass the test" . I have had a lot of anxiety about driving in the past but was always comfortable driving with Martin. I would recommend him to anyone!

Martin is very approachable, patient, fun and calm. When driving, you don’t feel under pressure with Martin. I had Gained a lot knowledge within a 1 hour session that i wasn’t aware of on the road. Martins teaching methods have helped me to overcome that barrier of low confidence and i am feeling ALOT more confident to go for my test. Best instructor so far! Highly recommended for anyone. I just passed my practical driving test yesterday for my restricted license. Not mentioning, it's my first take. Martin is an amazing instructor. He believes in the capabilities of his students. He is very professional, patient, and accommodating. He always respond to my messages and always willing to help. Driving is my biggest fear and Martin played a big part to overcome that fear. I cannot thank Martin enough for his help and support. He is an incredibally patient instructor and makes you feel really relaxed and comfortable when driving. As an incredibly nervous and anxious older driver, he was able to put my mind at ease and allowed me to progress at my own pace. Excellent teacher, couldn't recommend more! Martin made what was initially a very daunting task for me feel safe and fun. He was always very patient and communicated each lesson in a way that was easy to understand. All lessons were effectively planned out and organised to meet my particular needs, meaning I always went home feeling like I had made progress in my learning. I attended a defensive driving course before sitting my Full licence test. I found the course very informative, beneficial & helpful when preparing for the Full licence test. The practical session was very helpful as Martin showed me what I was doing well & what I needed to work on before sitting the test. Martin is such an excellent teacher and really connects to the class on a personal level. Really cool guy too! Definitely recommend the defensive driving course with him as it is extremely helpful with all aspects of driving and his teaching style makes everything about it interesting :)

I recently completed the REDS Defensive Driving Course, and I'm so glad I did. Martin uses a good curriculum from the AA and makes it great by engaging you in the learning. Taking the course opened my eyes to several aspects of my driving that needed attention. Martin was an amazing instructor, I actually had fun on this course and learnt a lot! My friends always said defensive driving was boring but obviously they hadnt had the Martin experience. Very engaging, very interesting, incredibly helpful and kind.

Organised lectures and driving assessment. Lectures start on time and end on time. They stick to the schedule. 100% detailed assessment during driving assessment. I attained all lectures continuously, and did all written and online exercise he asked me to do. When I got 100% in online exercise i was more confident in my driving. Because of solving all exercises and Martin's (teacher) advice on driving skills, helped me to get 100% in my first restricted driving test. I made zero errors in my test. Wonderful wonderful teacher, great communication and very very welcoming. Had a great time with him in lessons and learnt alot. He really helped me know just what was needed to pass the test while also being very fun to learn from. 100% would reccomend to anyone in the area.

This course just goes to show, you can always teach an old dog new tricks. 17 years driving and still learnt something new on the final day. Unbelievably laid back course and didnt feel like a boring waste of 2 hours each time. The rewarding treats were always welcomed. It's been a pleasure Martin. Thank you!
