Big thank you to Gareth for his work yesterday, Did a SRS Diagnostics check on my air bag system to make sure its functioning the way it should and is safe. Feel very confident with his work and loved the positive energy from him. Going to stick by these guys from now on

I called in today to see whether they have an appointment available for a full car service which was urgent as we needed to take the car out for a long drive down to National Park tomorrow and for the weekend. There was no more available slots left for a full service but Gareth went above and beyond to squeeze me into the day for 10 minutes just to do a quick check of the car to ensure he's happy for us to drive it over the weekend so that we are safe. Gareth and the team are very generous and are genuine in wanting to help their customers receive top quality and valuable car services for their own safety.

I needed my headlights polished and adjusted for a WOF. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They sorted everything out at a reasonable price. I went back a second time to get my battery relocated to the boot. They were very helpful and advised me of ways to save some money in the process. I am very happy with results and great customer service. I highly recommend these guys. Thanks GT.

I brought in a starter motor to overhaul. After inspecting it Gareth phoned to say it couldn't be fixed as parts were no longer available. He sourced a new equivalent motor at a reasonable price and even made a connection adaptor for it so it would bolt straight in. I fitted the motor and it works fantastic 👌

GT Auto are absolutely awesome very helpful and go out of there way to be very helpful i will definitely be going to them again. All the comments have previously been posted absolutely true. I will recommend them to everyone. Keep up the great work you do.

I contacted GT Auto Electrix as my 1973 caravan exterior lights were not working and the trailer connection was broken. I wanted the wires tested and LED lights fitted. From the very first phone call the guys were helpful and friendly. In the end all the original lights were used as the guys got them going and gave me the choice which saved me money. I would highly recommend this business. Thanks' for your help at a good honest price. Darren

Gareth saved me hours of stress and hundreds of dollars that was expected to be charged by other mechanics. Took my vehicle in and even though no issue was identified through the diagnostics tool, he had a good idea what the issue to my vehicle was. Left the vehicle overnight and the vehicle was repaired and ready next day. It has been almost 4 months since visiting his workshop and thankfully (for me) I haven't returned! Gareth genuinely cares about his work and his customers and he is honest with his prices (too honest from my experience). Good bloke overall. Thanks again Gareth, if I have any further issues with my vehicle I will return!

HIGHLY recommend, these guys are amazing. I had problems with my passenger wing-mirror and drivers window; Gareth identified the issues and not only offered the replacement options but work-around options to suit my needs as well - this was something I really appreciated and made them stand out from others. Gareth was friendly and professional and didn't action anything without calling first (which is something I always have a fear of) he even positioned my vehicle in a way that made it easy for me to get out, which was a welcome relief because I hadn't had it long enough to do so confidently!

Gareth and the Team were incredible. They identified the issue very quickly, and also performed a temporary fix to the problem so that we could get our WOF, then they performed the permanent action: changed the switch for our beam lights. They ordered the part in a very timely manner, and did an excellent job with it's installation. They were also extremely gracious with regards to financial circumstances due to Covid19. They also provided a service where they checked the engine and the battery life of our vehicle. We would certainly use their services again, and would highly recommend them! Had a parasitic draw issue on my MK5 Golf GTI due to a newer head-unit and was scared of all the horror stories about it online, but Callum fixed my issue perfectly and brought my battery drainage to an exceptional level. Didn't work with Garreth or Mike but I'm sure they are as great blokes as Callum is! Without a doubt, I will not look at any other auto electricians should any other problems arise in the future. Was recommended by Woods Caravans to do specific plug setup on car for our UK caravan. When wife dropped off car was given a loan car which made things very helpful. Apon collection Gareth kindly went over how it connects and overall offered an exceptional friendly, professional & helpful service. We have other work planned to do to caravan and without hesitation will be going back to GT Auto Electrics. John & Sue

Absolutely amazing. I had a custom job done on the car, hence, it was a not-so-easy task and Gareth managed to find the solution in 2.5 hours of work. Totally amazed. They are my main place for electrical stuff from now on.

My Audi had broken down over lockdown and I needed somewhere local to tow to. I googled these guys who appeared to have great reviews and was not dissapointed. My car needed a lot of work to rectify the issue, which ended up being a broken belt and the whole front of the car required removal and reinstatement. They did a great job and was great value for money!

Needed the trailer lights fixed in a hurry these guys were only to obliging did the work while I waited no mucking around, at a fair price. Even re attached a reflector for me so I would get a warrant. The apprentice who worked on our trailer could not have been more accomodating. I would not hesitate to return here if I needed more work done.

Gareth and his team went beyond the extra mile for me to get my electric window fixed before the weekend. I will go back every time. Fantastic service and these guys truly are out to help people. Pay no attention to the 2 or 3 (probably fake troll accounts) downrating this business for no reason.

Great service with honest advice and a fair price.

Can highly recommend these guys for auto electrical. I had just had a service with holden and a few days later my entire dash had no power to it. Called holden who couldn’t fit me in for over a week. GT Auto Electrix could fit me in the following morning, offered me a loan car without me even asking, repaired my car quickly and at a fraction of what it would have cost at Holden. To top it off they called a few days later to check all was ok. Wow I have not experienced service like that in a very long time. Great service and fair pricing. Will not use anyone else for auto electrical.

I have never experienced such a high level of customer service especially in auto, right from giving them an initial phone call they were friendly and helpful (rang quite a few auto electricians in the Wairau/Glenfield vicinity who were rude and said they don't have the time). Gareth and the team were beyond exceptional. Highly recommend!!!

Really great and helpful service. Had a fault with my car and they had a look at it and resolved it very quickly with no fuss.

These guys are great. My alternator was broken, and send the email about it then direct me to send them. Sooner alternator arrives at their place they worked out whats wrong and what i should gone for. They know what models i have and ordered for me a specific parts for it, obviously they know what they doing and no muck arounds. fixed next day my car stopped playing up. Absolutely pro job. Not cheap but, thats what your money worth to spend for rather than make you muck arounds and never solves problem. I run one of enthusiasts page on facebook, highly recommends to other boys up that page for one of best auto electrician!
