I have used Northern Lights' services twice this year to install several self-supplied ceiling fans in my apartment. They were able to easily integrate the controller into my existing gang-plate style, and where possible there was minimal access-hole drilling. I was going to ask for the same electrician as the prior install seeing as he already had knowledge of our fit-out, but the team were onto it and already suggesting the very same. Ultra-professional and very reasonable rates, especially for accommodating custom components. They'll be on my speed dial for future electrical work! Thanks heaps guys!

Thank you for your prompt response. I had all faulty lights and damaged wiring replaced. Simply Awesome service from Northern Lights. We had quite extensive work done on our home, including rewire, new board, new main line point of entry, new earth, all light fittings, switches and power points replaced, new indoor and outdoor lighting installed. When quoting, John was fantastic and listened to what we wanted. He didn't try pressure us or upsell to us. He took the time to explain things and give us options that fitted our budget. The electricians who carried out the work were also fantastic. Over the 5 days, Hannes, Matt and Zio were on time, polite, professional, and tidy. Their work was top notch and their attention to detail was awesome. We also changed our mind a bit along the way and they accommodated this for us no problem. Going forward we will be using Northern Lights for any and all electrical work in the future. We really couldn't be happier! Thanks Guys!!

As chair of a Bodycorp for a mid-sized block of units. We had several companies and solo electricians quote to supply and fit security/safety lighting for our property. John from Northern Lights was extremely patient and professional in our dealings. Because we had to go through committee process the project took considerably longer than would often be the case and we had many (possibly silly) questions and requests. In the end we had some last minute changes due to close neighbours. All of these issues were handled with aplomb. The gentlemen who carried out the work were friendly and more than professional. The work carried out to an impeccable standard. The price was absolutely on par with others who I'm certain would not have delivered to the same high standard. Further, when there was a small issue uncovered (due to some previous poor workmanship) which couldn't be solved on the scheduled work day, the team came back, unbeknownst to me on the next business day. This, despite a schedule which should have seen them tied up for at least a week, to resolve the issue. I can't speak highly enough of John, Libby and his team. Update: October 2020 - We have just had the Northern Lights team out again to take on a considerably larger job, the full replacement of our power board. The full team worked around the clock, literally through the night to get this complex job completed. This dedication meant the 18 units were without power for a touch over 24 hours, instead of several days. I cannot thank the team enough. Libby handled the preparation (wrangling 18 sets of owners and tenants to arrange meter shifting and notice of power outage). The full team worked hard, above and beyond what I expected. The remained friendly and helpful the entire time. I can't recommend them highly enough! If you need electrical work done. Just call them!

I highly recommend Northern Lights for any of your electrical needs. I recently coordinated an Office relocation and there were a lot of additional electrical works required that we did not plan for. Northern Lights were prompt to respond, met me onsite, provided a quote quickly and a plan and were ready to perform the works immediately. Excellent work from these guys, we replaced our halogen lights to new LED ones, John was patient and understood which LED lights i needed. We first used them on a seven level apartment block in New Market, where they needed to liaise with a building manager and occupants, and access was not easy to arrange and co-ordinate. I have dealt with John and his fantastic team of Libby, Raz, Nick, Sam and Scott. Scott is not with Northern Lights now but, each one of these people have been professional, timely and efficient. This team re-wired my home last year and just recently I asked them to replace a damaged power plug and socket for my daughter. They are easy to talk to about what work I would like to have done. They listen to what is being said and describe in detail the work they can do and follow through on that. Anything unexpected is addressed immediately so that I may consider alternatives before they proceed. There are no surprises. I recently had a hot water cylinder problem. No hot water & about to go into a long weekend. I called Northern Lights Lighting & Electrical as they are local to me & they were amazing! They organised one of their electricians to come first thing the next morning - before I left for work.
