Strike Electrical did a fantastic job and I cannot recommend them enough. At a time where there’s a longer than usual waiting time to book Tradies, Strike were quick and easy to deal with and turned up to help straight away. I had a list of several different jobs and nothing was a problem for Isaac. He was efficient, friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I’ll definitely be using Strike for all my electrical needs in the future.

Wasn't sure which sparky to choose from as there are many but I bit the bullet on these guys given the highly praised reviews. And this was a such a good choice that I will most likely be using these guys for the foreseeable future! Luke came on time for an on-site quote and consultation, gave me some ideas and possibilities and next thing you know, im just waiting for one of their sparkies arranged by Jake to come do the job on the agreed upon date. Aidan (the electrician tasked for the job) came on time, and really did an awesome job tackling the individual tasks. The roof attic storage lightning was done professionally (all the wires cable managed and hidden behind the timber/studs), nicely wired to an accessible light switch. Extra power outlet switches installed as if they were there originally and best of all, splitting the fan/light switch seperately and tidying up the network data cabinet (patch panel and cable management). Aidan was polite to ask each time he needed some direction from me which is a bonus vs others who just go do their own thing without notifying the customer! All in all, you will not go wrong with choosing Strike Electrical. Luke and his team will definitely deliver a high quality job, and deliver them on time at a really good value. Highly responsive and will cater toward your needs.

The hot water switch in our fuse box kept tripping. This was during the L4 lockdown. I rang Luke he came and gave everything a good check. It was a ‘loose’ wire in our hot water heat pump outside unit. Everything is working as it should now. Thanks, Luke.

I sent an email through the Strike Electrical website seeking help with a faulty light fitting at home, and was thrilled to get a speedy reply. A day and time that worked for me was arranged and right on time, their man Harley turned up. A well presented guy, friendly and clean working, he found the fault which required the installing of a new light fitting. He cleaned up the small amount of dust and off-cuts and put everything back in place. Light tested and all OK. I am so thankful to Strike electrical for identifying exactly what needed to be done, providing ample information about the options and then doing a totally top quality job of everything. Had the opportunity of sampling new LED lights before deciding, then had the house minus the garage replaced from incandescent to LED lights, plus the installation of 2 fan extractors in the bathrooms. The bulk of the work was carried out proficiently and smoothly, however, we underestimated the lighting in both bathrooms, and added 4 extra LED's. Unfortunately, they installed 3 tilted and one ordinary, so had to wait for them to be replaced with the correct ones. Therefore, they lose a star for that, but would recommend them to anybody who need a superior electrical company in Auckland, and would use them again.

Luke and the team went above and beyond to come to our rescue quickly when a short circuit issue left us without power in the dead of winter. Very happy with the work and service and even going beyond with the help in dealing with multiple owners when the issue involved a block of flats. Thanks team. Another great experience dealing with Luke and his team at Strike Electrical. Luke was quick to respond to the request for a site visit to our rental property, gave us great advice about heat pump options and managed to up-sell us in a charming and professional manner on the need to re-wire the property as it was well due for this! His team were on site within days of us accepting his advice and managed to do all the work within 10 working days. They were very accommodating of our tenants two indoor cats and managed to not let them escape to the great outdoors! There were a few unexpected issues that cropped up along the way, and Luke and the team responded well to dealing with these. Delighted with the results - as are the tenants who now have a toasty warm house and safe wiring!

Booked in a month in advance but the guys came a week too early so couldn't complete. We reconfirmed the original date but they then called the day before to say they were struggling to fit me in and could I reschedule. I couldn't, however they then didn't show up or contact me. I rang the owner and he did try to reschedule (again) with urgency but wasn't able to. Finally did complete on attempt three (3.5?). The work appears to be done to a high standard, and the rates were reasonable. They were pretty insistent on me leaving a review. Followed up via email and text.

From Jake coming over to note down the planning process of what had to be done and giving his input, to Jono actually coming over to do the work. Called at 8.30pm after having a power outage at our house. The person we talked to was very helpful and after a brief explanation of our issue, told us we should try Vector (to check a power pole fuse) first as this was likely the problem and that Vector would be free. Contrast this to the advice from another 24 hr electrician we called who told us the cost would be $475 ex GST and did not diagnose the issue. Much appreciated.

Strike installed outside heaters and lighting to my deck extension. Tricky job as required dimmers on some lights, sensors on others, power control to the heaters and a switchboard upgrade. Professional, consulted well and prepared to look at different options and prepared to change planning as this job evolved a little. Highly recommend Jake and Peter - whom did most of the work.
