A.Christchurch Electrical installed Solar Generation on my house. They were easy to deal with to get a quote for the work, and throughout the entire installation process from the planning to the actual installation work, provided regular updates as to where the job was up to. The installation work was carried out over two days and the team was punctual, hard working and tidied up after themselves, even taking the packaging that came with the parts to be installed away with them. If you are looking at putting Solar Generation onto your property and want a competent professional team working for you, I highly recommend Harrison Proctor and Christchurch Electrical .

R.We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Christchurch Electrical for their efficiency and skill in sorting out the wiring in our rental property. We called them at 8 on Monday morning and by Wednesday pm they had diagnosed the issues and proceeded to fully rewire the house enabling our tenants to move back in. Their communication was excellent at every step of the way. One realises how scary things are when the old faulty wiring could have caused a fire and so to have such prompt service is just wonderful. P.I needed my house rewired and requested a quote. Gavin arrived on time to conduct the quote and was very professional in his manner. I didn't bother getting any more quotes as I was impressed with his professionalism. All correspondence was prompt. The electricians that worked at my house turned up when they said they would, were courteous, friendly and professional. I don't know how the price compares to other companies. Would recommend and use again.

K.We engaged Christchurch Electrical to undertake extensive rewiring of our whole house and we were very impressed with their customer service and friendly but professional manner right from the original phone enquiry, the scoping visit, and throughout the works. We were impressed that Gavin who did the scoping visit came to site on the first morning to confirm specifics with us and the lead electrician prior to commencing. We were not renovating our house so we needed great care to be taken with existing walls etc and the team did a great job - no damage to our walls at all! They even were able to remove the asbestos-lined original switchboard themselves rather than sub-contract out which saved time and money. The work was undertaken quickly, the guys were approachable and helpful with some lighting suggestions and the work came within the quote which was very competitive compared to another company who quoted. We will unreservedly use Christchurch Electrical again and highly recommend them for technical rewiring work. Thanks guys :)

A.Our 1950’s architectural house required extensive rewiring to meet current compliance for insurance, safety and functional purposes. The design presented a range of barriers to achieving this. Christchurch Electrical was the first firm to focus on workable, cost effective solutions.
The scale of the work and the timetable were clearly outlined. Communication and organisation were excellent throughout. The partnering with RC Jamieson Builders was seamless for the associated building work.
James, the lead electrian, approached the work strategically which significantly reduced the need to open walls, floors and ceilings and overall reduced the cost. Nothing was a problem that couldn’t be solved and the workplace was always left clean and tidy. All the workers on the job were pleasant and easy to deal with.
Overall the experience was very positive and I would recommend Christchurch Electrical without hesitation.
