Switched on Electrical did all the electrical work on our new build in Hamilton. Not only are the team incredibly knowledgable, they are completely trustworthy, have great advice and are extremely thorough. We have had them back again to help us install our new TV and have it mounted on the wall with all the cords hidden. It looks fantastic! Tom is an absolute legend, is very detail orientated and goes the extra mile. And Mike the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. We will continue to use the team for any needs we have in the future as we know we can trust them and they do a fantastic job.

Recently went to Switched On electrical to get more than a few items tested and tagged. The employee’s were very friendly, and professional. I was amazed at how fast it was done and ready for pick up. 10/10 services would go again and would recommend to others :)

Amazing service we were really stuck trying to have a new hob and rangehood installed. Other electricians were too busy however Switched on came the next day and finished the job even though if took several hours. Very grateful!

After accidentally drilling through a mains cable during a home renovation on a Sunday nigh at around 9.30pm, I contact Switched on Electrical to come out and repair it. It was amazing that a company that advertises 24 hour, 7 day a week service actually does what they advertise, the call was picked up after a couple of rings and within 30mins an electrician was at my house. The person attending was polite, very professional, cleaned everything up to the point you would not have known they had been there. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Switched on Electrical to anyone.

Mike and the team respond quickly and are always keen to help. They will be in your corner throughout the whole process and will make sure that you are looked after. Love these guys and would give them 20 stars if I could.

They offer what i'd consider superior customer service and very efficient with it, which can be hard to find these days. The workmanship is great too with a good team of experienced electricians.

Switched On electrical recently repaired an electrical fault at my rental which was causing a fuse to trip. I was very pleased with the way they responded - they prioritised my job and came out quickly, located the problem, repaired it and restored the power. Great service.

I couldn't be happier! We are currently in the middle of having our new house built and we were unsure what to do regarding our air conditioning. We met with Mike and discussed all the options and pricing, he made everything so easy. Switched on Electrical were incredibly helpful and reliable, they installed our new air conditioning system for our new house and the workmanship and professionalism was outstanding. Once our ducted Air Con was installed we decided to also get an alarm system, again unsure what do to or where to start. We gave switched on a call and again extremely happy with the service given. Had a fancy ceiling light blow in one of my bedrooms and Mike came and replaced the whole fitting for me (so I can just use standard lightbulbs!). They have the best "can do" attitude. I'm doing my own renovation projects and I needed to prewire the light fitting before painting, several other companies I called told me they have a long waiting list. Switched On Electrical Ltd is really helpful and tried to fit my small job in on the day! I called Mike out of desperation; we were in one of those situations where we are new to Hamilton heading to the beach, all packed up ready to go and the 40amp fuse pulls and will not remake - refrigerator and freezer is in the circuit involved...!. Mike talked me through rectifying the fault and getting the power back on and finding the faulty appliance. This was a kind selfless act, Mike thankyou. Switched On did our full electrical install on our new build in 2017 and have also provided brilliant back up service . We would recommend Mike and his team to provide a professional efficient friendly service.

I called switched on electrical to come fix my over switch as I was sure it was going to give my wife and I a shock.... When I called I got hold of the receptionist that was very clear with the process, costings etc. Couldn't fault her. I was told a time in which someone would turn up and I have to say it was the first time a trade was true to their word. The guy was friendly and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. First experience with a trade where every part of the experience was on point! Thanks switched on! HIGHLY Recommended!

Have not used them YET but they were so helpful... asked the right questions to resolve the issue quickly, knowledgeable, effective at getting my issue resolved, even though I didn't require their services. We've used them for a few different jobs around home over the last couple of years, including for installation of a heat pump and outside lights. We used Switched On Electrical to fully wire our new build house, supply a security system, ducted heat pump, and tv aerial. Mike was across all the details of our job, and provided excellent communication. His guys turned up on time and left the site clean and tidy each time. Our site is rural, so Mike would plan the work to get the best bang for buck out of his team each time they attended site. We had problems with our underfloor heating (not supplied by SOE), and Mike has provided support and advice on how to resolve this as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. I'd be happy to recommend SOE and Mike's services to anyone.

I have had the pleasure of regularly using SOE to complete electrical works for us on a few projects, including but not limited to; heat pump installation, shower fan replacement & rangehood installation. I can honestly say that they have been the most pleasurable down to earth bunch to work with. It appears that nothing was too much for them to handle (Even liaising with other contractors on construction works to fit tight time frames). Their guys have always arrived on time and did a great job. I highly recommend Mike and his team for any electrical works you may be looking at undertaking, they are excellent to deal with and very well priced. Doing a refurb of my bathroom and, not having an electrician in Hamilton, was fortunate to select Switched on Electrical. My builder was pulling the old bathroom out when I called and, in response to my impossible request, they sent someone - Mike - out almost straight away to do the disconnect. Very impressed with their customer service, professionalism and timeliness. Won't go anywhere else!

Called them when my fuse blew. They came out that morning and turns out my dishwasher was faulty - had a damage report for me that day, sorted everything I needed for my insurance claim, ordered a replacement dishwasher and installed with no hassle at all. Very responsive and great to deal with. 100% recommend.

He was able to squeeze me in and completed the job to an extremely high standard in a very short time frame. Lost power to part of our house late on Sunday afternoon, including our fridge. Phoned Mike who was able to troubleshoot the issue over the phone with me and determine that we had a faulty appliance (pool pump) that was causing the outage. Unplugged and power was back to normal. The electrician sent out by Switched On Electrical was friendly, efficient and skilled. The job we needed done, replacing an old oven, was completed in short time and he took the old oven away with him when he left. We had a couple of follow up queries which were dealt with in a similar fashion by their office manager, who was very helpful also. This company is sound, lives up to its name and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.
