I cannot commend Levin Auto Electrical high enough after the way in which they pulled us out of a potentially major issue in double quick time, seamlessly - and at a very fair price. Owner Ross Wilkins has decades of experience in dealing with all sorts of auto issues, including tricky circuit or system problems associated with European cars which can often lead to a very expensive trip to a main dealer. We had not long bought a Volvo S40 when a steering fault basically left the vehicle stranded. Here's the thing: not only did Ross go out of his way to try to personally rectify the fault with a comprehensive coding check but he got the car towed back promptly, and inexpensively, then got his team to work sharpish. We had been expecting the issue to run for days with a likely outcome involving Volvo NZ. Instead Ross's excellent colleague Jonathan called back before the close of play to say that they had stripped out the steering, identified the problems - largely caused by earlier failed attempts to rectify - and put in place what looks set to be a long-ish term solution. People doing what they say they will do, on time, efficiently and with no great drama is rare enough to merit recognition. When the pick up came an hour later the bill Ross gave me was way short of the four figures I'd feared given the complexity of the issue, recovery, intensive labour and extras. Below half four figures in fact. A mighty relief. A good business. And our first stop next time (hopefully a long time) anything else goes wrong. Tony M Levin

These guys rocks! They are friendly, knowledgable and there was a great mood around in the shop. They didn't sent me away for a 5 min. job even though they seems like realy busy. In the end they helped me a lot even they know they won't make profit with me. Big Fan! 11/10 points

I went into Levin Auto Electrical this morning as one of my father's car doors wouldn't shut properly. It turned out the problem was user error, i.e. Me. There was no charge, and the staff were very helpful. Staff are very polite on the phone & in person. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing an auto electrician in Levin or surrounding areas. Such a pleasure to have such good service. Well done!
