Stu carried out a very tricky alternator replacement on my European car which was too complicated for another franchised workshop. Excellent quality and friendly service. Thanks again!

SORRY but I have not even been to this Workshop and I meant to take my car there but the Gentleman never answers his phone. So I arrange a time.

We have taken our cars here for a few years. And EVERY time they do a good job. Visited them again this week and they were awesome again. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended!! Friendliest, welcoming lot out and not out to rip you off!! I rang around what felt like 10+ other places for quotes with all bar these guys saying it was gonna be a hard job etc etc it was gonna cost over $200 etc etc come to Hutt City Auto Electrical and they were the best priced and said it's a straight forward job, easy as.... 2hrs later my car was done.... That was removing and installing a new head unit.... Thank you so much again!!! Will definitely be back if I need too in the future

I've been to Hutt City Auto Electrical a few times now. Every experience I've had has been excellent! Like really great! Their service is always quick and affordable and I usually get to bring my car in on the same day I call them. The staff is really friendly too. I'll continue going to them and highly recommend others to use their services!

Stu fitted me in at short notice to look at rear light failures. Resolved in about an hour and a half. Also checked aircon unit that wasn't working and got that going as well with some good old Kiwi ingenuity. Warned me a permanent aircon fix might be required in the future. I was thoroughly impressed with the service, the work, and the cost. Would not hesitate to go back.

Very professional. I got the car battery replaced and soon after my reverse cam got out of order. However, this morning I called Hutt electricals and checked the price for a new cam, to that the gentleman said "it just need a reset". Anyway I went to the shop to reset and within minutes it's done like very experienced pro. Just professional. Also, the gentleman was very much generous and professional at his job. Now the interesting part is, exactly a year before in Auckland while was in need of fitting a reverse cam and parking sensor for a Japanese stereo, every single electricians denied t do, that they can't make it, because the stereo is programmed in Japanese. Finally, I got it done from one of frnds. Now, I realized that there people who are skilled enough to get the job done in a better way with excellent alternatives.

My partner and I were experiencing issues with our xenon HID headlights and after being mucked around for months by other parties, Stu and the team at Auto Electrical have taken care of us over an afternoon. Fantastic customer service and competitive pricing. Do not hesitate to book in with HCAE if you are looking for quality electrical repairs.

Great service, highly recommended. Found the problem with all the lights on the dash, kept me informed of the work involved in fixing and offered other options. Repairs were done quickly and the costs were reasonable. Would definitely use again.

Excellent service. Dropped off a head unit and speakers to install, they advised that the speakers already installed were of higher quality and to not proceed with installing these. Could easily have just gone ahead and charged me so kudos for the honesty. Also, drove past over the holidays and saw the door was up, stopped and the guy was able to recharge my AC when they were closed. Will only use this place now, great stuff.

My car's alternator blew up due to other mechanic issues. I am SO glad I found Hutt City Electrical. They not only advised me different ways to fix the problem, they encouraged me to fix the cause of the problem, but in an economic way. The bill was open and clear and we fixed it for a good price. I'd highly recommend them for any kind of problem...they'll give you good advice!

I checked another electric centre and they quoted between 100to 200.but didn't have space and I came here and booked for the next day and I was expecting the same rate. Work was pretty fast and charged me the price of two coffee only.how awasome is that,,😀👌

Not knowing if the company was open (Covid-19 alert Level 3) I'd driven pass & notice garage door open, rung from outside, I mention I hadn't booked I had 3 major problems i.e. windows & reverse light (to them it was minor, read on :-)), Yep no problem left car there, three hours later I get a ph call (here goes I'm waiting to hear the damage amount) but instead.. your car is ready, it was minor(MINOR!! it was major to me :)), & it's a hundred + dollars (holly Sh** I was expecting a sky rocket price). No more Minor/Major issues with these flipping windows & reverse light.. Thank you so much dude/s Hutt City Auto Electrical. Kia ora!!

Had a fog light kit that i wanted to get installed, these guys sorted me out easy. Will definitely be back!

They couldn't find any problems with my car, despite 2 ongoing issues (which has a constant battery drain meaning if it's not used for 2 days the battery goes flat, and a couple of times a week the electronic key decides it won't start the car) But at least they didn't charge me any money...
