Thornton Electrical did all the electrical stuff on my new build, this included temporary power for construction, electrical pre-wiring, helped with choosing lighting interior and exterior, helped with socket and switch positions, helped with lighting positions, installing extractor fans for the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry, and installing a ceiling fan for the main living area. Mat was very professional and showed excellent attention to detail. I would highly recommend Thornton Electrical for any job large or small.

A friend of mine recommended Mat to us, and we're so glad that she did. We were very pleased with the work that Mat did at our house - he arrived on time, was very thorough and meticulously tidy. He explained all the work that he had done, everything was checked at the end of the job and appropriate safety certification was provided. Mat is now our go to sparkie!

Mat is the most professional tradesman we have ever encountered. Not only is his work standard super high with great attention to detail he is a caring, kind and lovely person too. It was a genuine pleasure to work closely with Mat for a long bathroom renovation project. We are fans of this next level tradesman!

Needed a full house rewire. Called one electrician - no response. Called another, promised to come out promptly. 3 days later still no show. Follow up - busy, maybe next Wednesday. Called Mat. He came the same evening to check out the job. Explained to me what needed done. Started the day after. The job involved working in the roof cavity in the middle of summer, with tight access to the perimeter of the house, and under the house with crawl only access to some wall plates. Mat handled all of that, working 12 hour days, often without breaking for lunch. The job was completed on budget and I could have saved some money had I let Mat source the lights.

Matt installed our spa and replaced lights on our deck. We found Matt to be very professional and efficient. He was very reasonably priced and did a fantastic job. Matt gave us a variety of quotes for both jobs which we found really helpful. Would highly recommend.

My experience with Thornton Electrical was really great. We had just moved into a new house and the hot water was out of order due to electrical problem and just one call to Thornton and the problem was fixed and also advised that how some of the wiring in the electrical box was hanging out. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mat Thornton has been excellent to work with. He has informative ideas, goes out of his way to be helpful, and works to a high standard. He has a personnel manner. I would recommend him.

Mat's a well grounded and very well trained electrician with long time exp in both the UK and Australia. In addition to that he's a decent guy and his charges will not frighten the horses and he turns up when he says he'll turn up, a HUGE plus............ I recommend him.
