J. P.Very impressed with their service and was given a call to tell me how much a part was going to cost which I appreciated rather than being hit with a huge unexpected invoice. Very efficient and was grateful for the use of their courtesy car. I also highly recommend as a business who isn't supporting medical apartheid and wasn't even questioned why I wasn't wearing a mask (I do have an exemption). Nice to be able to see their faces as well! Thank you.
N.I stopped off to Doigs on the off chance that they could help me out with a bulb that had fallen into the light cavity...not expecting them to be able to jump right in and retrieve the bulb and fix the issue...which is exactly what they did!!! Amazing service right from the moment I walked into reception where I was greeted by a friendly lady to the young guy who retrieved the bulb. Outstanding, professional company. Thank you so much.

John was very helpful and professional and on time the end result of all that is that I am a very happy camper with a head unit fully installed and fully operational. R. W.I was delighted. They came to my rescue when my starter motor stopped working leaving me stranded at my dentist in Rangiora. They got my vehicle going, took me back to their workshop, leant me a free Loan Car to go home to Kaiapoi. My vehicle was all fixed by lunch time the next day and at a very reasonable price. Thank you Doig Auto Electrical, especially for helping with my wheelchair. I am happy to recommend you to everyone needing friendly, fast, and reasonably priced auto electrical.

L. M.I've popped in a couple of times for minor work (indicator light and reverse light) and was seen then and there, hassle free, quick and friendly. Phoned another time and was given an hour time frame which turned out to be less and agan, great service. We were really impressed, so naturally we've gone back now we have another problem and they're handling it promptly... 4 out of four times we've been 100% satisfied.

They concentrate on identifying and fixing the root cause of the problem, as opposed to the "shotgun approach" employed by some mechanics (i.e. spending thousands of dollars on new parts which might not even need replacement or be causing the problem). Very specialist knowledge and advice, for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend this outfit.
L. G.Went to a workshop in Amberley and quoted $700-800 for a replacement alternator and battery, both of which were already new.
Went to doig as we could still drive, they jumped in, checked a few things and after buying a new fan belt from around the corner and switching a few cables the car was working beautifully :-)
A* 100% for everything, especially if you're a backpacker, know that they'll do you right!
