It all started with a coffee.. .. .. After 20 years in the Police I was unsure if I had any skills that might be desirable to potential employers out in the public sector. I met with Jason initially and discussed the transition of coming from a Police background and entering into the 'real world'. I felt as if he really did listen to understand as opposed to listening to reply and I formed a belief that he had everyone's best interests at heart. I sent through a draft cover letter to him asking for some feedback and guidance, the letter outlined my previous working life and my skill set that the Police provided me. Jason was quick to get onto my letter/email and I began talking to Cushla about a role that they had in mind for me. Then we started talking about other companies that I might want to be associated with, which I felt as a genuine desire to match my values and skills with compatible companies. The communication that came from Jason and Cushla I couldn't fault, I was never left wondering what the next move was. In fact the communication that came out of Palmerston North Personnel was brilliant at all levels, from Tabitha from the front desk all the way through to Jason and Cushla. Cushla and Jason started my recruitment, interview and placement process into Alsco and every step of the way I felt supported. The best thing about the placement is that I feel I 'fit'.
