Oh Philippa, we just can’t thank you enough for marrying us and for being our emcee during our reception, when our emcee couldn’t make it due to visa issues. The ceremony you wrote for us was just beautiful and the way you segued into BSB territory was just masterful. And you won little Stevie over! What an achievement! Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you’ve done for us. We cannot recommend you highly enough! And I’ve already started recommending Queenstown and you as celebrant to our recently engaged friends here in Sydney. They’re still undecided on where to have their wedding, due to Covid-19 restrictions. But all the same, we’re so happy we had you to marry us on our special day. Sending all our love to you and yours.

Where do we even begin with reviewing this amazing woman? Philippa was absolutely instrumental in making our wedding day the most perfect, dreamlike experience. Everything was done with calm, ease, laughter and a whole lotta love. We're from the UK and travelled to NZ to elope and we contacted Philippa via email, discussing everything from our love story to our favourite things about each other. Nothing was stressful, everything was done with the utmost excitement. She personalised our wedding speech which was filled with the most beautiful emotion and love, completely personal to us, with hints of our weird couple in-jokes and personalities - words that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. Philippa also beautifully printed out our personal vows for us on the day (which was MUCH better than our hand written ones on paper which would have blown away in the wind, for sure!). Everything and more was included, and we talk about how wonderful she is all the time. We got to know each other like friends, and it was like having a family member up there with us. We're still in touch with her today (almost 2 years on!), checking in on each other and supporting her amazing business. All in all, we couldn't have had someone more loving, perfect and thoughtful to marry two best friends like us! Just perfect! We were so honoured to have Philippa marry us in October 2017. As one of my best friends I could not imagine anyone else officiating our ceremony. Philippa thank you so much for your guidance and going above and beyond to present a ceremony that represented us perfectly. So many guests commented how beautiful and emotional the ceremony was and that can be credited to Philippa’s planning and presentation of our story. Whether an elopement or larger wedding with many guests, I would not recommend any other celebrant but Philippa in Queenstown (or anywhere else in NZ).

Having Philippa as our celebrant was a wonderful experience! I honestly would do it again (haha)! She was able to capture the love that my now husband and I have with each other and highlight the true and deeper meaning of why we chose to get married. She also has a great sense of humour which helps calms the nerves. Since we have always been in touch with her via email, it was really comforting to hear that she has a wonderful golden voice! Our ceremony was live streamed and many have left compliments with us saying how soothing her voice is! Best wishes to everyone who is considering Philippa as their celebrant! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! PS: If you could read me a bed time story from time to time that would be highly appreciated, thank you! Haha! ☺️

Philippa is such a lovely person and this was evident from the very first contact with her. Her inviting, cheerful personality immediately makes you feel like you're chatting with a friend. We felt so involved with the process of writing our ceremony, and she was so flexible and open to making any changes that we requested. She wrote an absolutely beautiful, touching, personal ceremony for us that captured our story, our favourite poems, and even the different languages we speak! It was as if she knew us and the love we share. We could not recommend Philippa more highly! We are honoured that she married us.

We. Love. Philippa and everything about her! She made getting married a world away from our home and only having 8 people at our ceremony simply divine. We wouldn’t have it any other way! She completely read our hearts without having to know us for years. Her beautiful words, radiating smile and outgoing demeanor made our day even more special. The nerves we might have had on that day were washed away with her smile and warm hugs. I’m truly grateful and blessed to have had her as our celebrant. We love you Philippa!

You instantly feel love and warmth when you meet Philippa, which carried through to a beautiful ceremony she created which was perfect for us. Having never met her until the day (Covid promoting a last minute elopment plan C) she made us feel so relaxed and created a special, fun, down to earth ceremony just as we'd hoped for.
