Sam and her team are truly exceptional. I cannot recommend Tregold more for wedding planning services. My partner and I worked with Sam with the "month of package", but she and her team were so involved and helpful from the get-go, and helped us plan basically two weddings after our first had to be postponed due to covid lockdown. Sam has a wonderful sense of humour and was such a pleasure to work with. Her knowledge of local vendors and the area is invaluable. She found our reception venue (which was the cheapest venue by far compared to other venues we had looked at and is such a gem - incredible food and service!), and had a heap of recommendations for affordable vendors for other things. She even has a host of items at her disposal for renting that really gave our wedding the finishing touches it needed. The above doesn't even scratch the surface of all the hard work Sam put in for our wedding. We had countless meetings over zoom where she patiently answered all my questions and soothed my concerns with practical solutions - no one is more organised or able to problem solve than Sam. I liked to joke during the wedding planning process that Sam was more important to our wedding than the groom - at the very least I can say without joking that it wouldn't have happened without her. I also note that on the day, all of our guests made a point to mention how fantastic Sam was. She got everything sorted with a minimum of fuss and we left the final decorating arrangements to her - and it was just stunning. For anyone needing a wedding planner in the Queenstown / Wanaka area, Tregold Weddings is the vendor for you.

Sam helped plan our elopement with only 4 weeks notice. It was more of a cross between an elopement and a small wedding as we had 13 guests. Also helped is probably the wrong word as she did the vast majority of the work. She was awesome. The wedding was perfect and was exactly what we were looking for. She made it as easy as possible for us. We had 3 or 4 zoom calls and sent her some pinterest boards and everything turned out the way we wanted it. She came to us with ideas and suggestions through the process. We would highly recommend her. We already have recommended her to some colleagues and whenever someone says wanaka and wedding in the same sentence we will be suggesting Sam.

Some of the best money i've spent for my wedding was working with the Tregold team, specifically Sam and Courtney. We had our wedding at Rippon Wanaka in February. We opted for the 'Little bit of help' which included help the month before and on-day co ordination. They are great at what they do, from helping with the big decisions to smaller details you, you can really enjoy your day knowing that they are in the back ground sorting everything out. They have the local expertise in helping making decisions when you aren't personally there to decide and have experience with vendors, but also were able to sort out some last minute issues that I personally forgot about on the day. Most importantly they are so kind and during a time where planning and having a wedding felt impossible, Sam and Courtney helped us have the most amazing day we could imagine. Thank you once again!
