Vanessa and the team take all the stress out of your day and not to mention the accommodation is modern and fresh. You won't regret booking your wedding celebrations here!
W.We had a lovely intimate wedding at Flaxmere House and it was fantastic! We had just 2 weeks to prepare and Vanessa did an amazing job! She listened to my ideas and ran with them creating a perfect setting. With just one meeting in person and one zoom i was thrilled with the results!
The food was amazing and the team worked seamlessly on the day. Our whole party stayed overnight and enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast in the morning.
I can't thank Vanessa enough for coming through for us everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have given awesome feedback on the setting. THANK YOU Vanessa and team even though we were a small group you still made us feel so special! ❤

The venue is in a beautiful spot with loads of photo opportunities on site or a quick drive away. C.Flaxmere House is a perfect venue! We recently had our wedding there on the 6th February and Vanessa and her team were absolutely amazing throughout and looked after us superbly! We loved how relaxing and intimate it is!
We took all our photos on-site and they are stunning! It is such a gorgeous setting and backdrop for photos!
Everyone loved the food and we stayed the night of the wedding and had a beautiful cooked breakfast the next morning!

S.We got married early December 2020. Windy but perfect temperature and made the photos look great! Sunset can be seen onsite and Bethells Beach is just an 8 minute drive away!
The venue is wonderful. Great, homey, family feel which is perfect for more intimate weddings. All the guest loved it and the gorgeous views. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable too.
The food is amazing. All the guests kept praising it. Great options, cooked perfectly and arrangements made for particular dietary requirements. We also stayed and had the cooked breakfast the next day. Such a great way to wrap up the event!
The decorations are awesome and you can choose what you like as well as bring your own. With help from the staff too but if you want to do it yourself they are very accommodating.
The manager Vanessa is great. Very organised and makes it all far less overwhelming. The staff are all so friendly and enthusiastic too!
Great that it can also be used for other smaller events / B&B so should you ever want to stay again in future to reminisce your big day, that is such a cool option.

H.We had looked at a few venues and couldn't find something that worked for what we wanted within the budget we had. We were eventually recommended Flaxmere House and it was a perfect fit we booked straight away!
Vanessa and her team were lovely to deal with and were able to provide just what we wanted for our special day. The fact the package includes your pre-nights accommodation (extra cost but I recommend this), catering (which was delicious), assortment of decorations, nights accommodation for the bride and groom (minimal additional cost for up to a group of 20), ability to BYO alcohol and non-alcoholics (no surcharge) and planning advice, it was VERY good value for money.
All our guests had a great time and it provided us with the intimate wedding day we wanted.
Things to be aware of;
There is limited on-site parking but we managed to either fit all our guests in the car park (by carpooling) and/or taxi's or similar. Another option which Vanessa recommends was organizing shuttle pick up and drop offs for guests from a designated location.
There is a noise restriction for the area but we did not feel it affected the day/night or the dancefloor (aside from the bass) however due to this, the latest the dancefloor can run is 11pm with everyone off-site by 11.30pm, which also didn't bother us.
We would highly recommend booking your wedding with Flaxmere!
M.If you are looking for an intimate wedding venue that is something unique and special - look no further. We still have guests telling us that they would like to have a wedding like ours, and Flaxmere house was a big part of that. The food was absolutely divine, there was so much care and attention put into it - they will never let you down. If you are having a wedding we highly recommend taking the venue for a few days. Vanessa and the team were great.
L.My daughter got married at Flaxmere house earlier this year and the day was absolutely perfect. Vanessa, Dallas,Victoria, Ashley, Hayden and Kyla were all very polite and professional, where nothing was a problem.
As for the food everyone raved about how delicious it all was,and there was ample. The overall experience was lovely, with a great ambience.

l.If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxed , intimate yet luxurious venue.. this is the place ! Hosted my 30th Birthday last month and it was everything I could hope for. Not only it is an amazing place to celebrate but Vanessa and her team go the extra mile. I highly recommend it! it will make your dream event come true.
A.Recently had our wedding, including a 3 night stay with Vanessa and the team at Flaxmere. We loved every minute.
From when we arrived the ay before our wedding everything was prepared and organised as we had planned. The dining set up was ready for our final tweaking and personal decor and the rooms were all set ready for our guests.
The wedding day was hassle free and everything we had hoped for.
Our guests loved the venue and the relaxed atmosphere and we had an amazing day all in all.
The food was top notch, couldn't fault it, and Vanessa went the extra mile so we could have platters on the table instead of buffet style - so glad we did as everyone commented on this after.
We had a cooked breaky the following morning and then stayed a further night and booked another meal from Vanessa's team. Again the food was great and we loved making use of the venue for any extra day!
Very small considerations for venue improvement - curtain options for second living space to aid in hiding the bride while keeping good lighting for hair and make up.
More fans / air con throughout - height of summer, she was hot, but as we expected.
None of this hindered our day and I know Vanessa has made many expensive improvements to her fab venue of late so I am sure these are things already on her agenda!!
Hopefully we will be back for someone else's wedding one day!!
M.Vanessa and team do a fantastic job of organising all of the small things which make the day run smoothly. The food was fantastic (and plentiful) and service from her team was relaxed and fun. Vanessa was also kind enough to take some video of our first look and send through post the event.
C.The weekend of the 14th February we rented the Flaxmere house for us and our family . What a friendly host Vanessa and her team to see if we are settled in and need any thing. R.We recently had our wedding here and it was all that we could have hoped for and more. We chose Flaxmere House for a number of reasons; the on-site accomodation, the location and for the fact that Vanessa and her team take care of basically everything for you, and they did not disappoint!
Everything ran seamlessly and was exactly what we were after, right from our first on site meeting, the food tasting day, right through to our final check in and look through the day before the wedding.
The food was stunning and the chef, Victoria, was amazing in making sure all dietary restrictions were looked after as well as everyone else.
We received loads of compliments on the day and since on both the venue and the team, which really is a testament to Vanessa.
