Absolutely brilliant place!
Fast easy check in. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Rooms were clean tidy and comfortable.
Bar and restaurant staff were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was delicious with loads of variety. Located right on the waterfront at the Via Duct. Loads of Bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Loved our stay here. The food at the Fish Restaurant was mouth watering and breakfast was delicious. Room was wonderful, Bathroom was Huge and the bed wad so amazingly comfortable. (Need to know the maker to purchase one please) Views were stunning and I can not stop complimenting the professionalism, respectful and friendliness of all staff that we met. Right from the Valet on arrival to the Valet from departure.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and the room had pool view as I stayed on level 5. From the balcony I had added view of skytower and waterfront. Pool is smaller in comparison to the overall place but the view and vibe was amazing. Pool is not that deep either so good for non swimmers to be able to see the underneath side glass pool view. I was lucky enough to get the pool to myself for a bit.

Me and My wife celebrated our Valentine’s Day at Hilton. Such a romantic place with all the 5 Star amenities. All the staff were soo friendly and helpful. They know very well how to greet their guests. Andy who work at Concierge he helped us a lot and made our stay comfortable, Very nice guy. I would highly recommend Hilton. Loved it and definitely visiting again.

Great location, great views and great staff.
We spent a few nights here after our wedding and we really enjoyed our stay. It was far enough from the main viaduct area so we could enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay, but close enough to everything with only a couple of minutes walking distance away from all restaurants, bars etc.
The room was very clean and tidy, our only issue was that we thought the room could have been slightly bigger for the type of room we had, particularly to allow for a different layout for the bathroom, but other than that we had a great stay.
We would recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

The Hilton is OK. We stayed in one of their best rooms on top floor with huge balcony with exceptional views over to Stanley Point. The bedroom and en suite were both lovely but the lounge area was sparse and tired. Needs a redecorating upgrade in my opinion. The blue carpet rug on the floor looked like garage carpet. Nor my idea of a 5 star room.

There isn't too much bad about this hotel, but there is nothing that amazing either.
The room is a reasonable size, is modern and had all of the teas and coffee choices that you expect. The outlook of the room was poor as we found ourselves looking out onto other hotel rooms.
We were surprised at how long it took to walk into town. We had parked in town (which ended up being half-the-price than parking at the hotel) and we also went to the theatre that night.
The covid scanning to get into the hotel was not very 5-star but the greeting at the front desk was as you would expect.
A.
It was a good stay.
Pros
Staff were so friendly and know what they are doing
Nice views
Nice swimming pool even it is a bit small for the number of rooms
Cons
Charge 2% more credit card
The facilities are not sure if it is actually 5 stars hotel, I give it 4 stars to be fair compare to
They are missing jacuzzi, sauna, spa, some rooms need better settings, like the hanging lamp in my room is covering the mirrors.
Car park is a problem

Very nice stay. Just the check in time was not punctual. Check in time was 3pm. We arrived at 3.20pm approx., but the room was not ready as it needed an inspection before we got the room key. So, we managed to get to our room at around 3.45pm. Everything else was very nice.
C.
It was probably the best high tea in Auckland. The service was a little bit slow, and we only got our tea at the end; otherwise, food was fantastic. Nice combination of sweet and savoury. I would advise not to eat breakfast 🤣 not a small high tea! Lots of food! Not to mention the beautiful view watching the ferry's come in and out!
H.
I felt very safe during my stay as the staff were very clear about expectations for masks and social distancing. The cleanliness of every area of the hotel was excellent. I would stay again and highly recommend the Hilton to others.
C.
Excellent staff and very prompt. They treat you like a king and queen. I was amazed at their very luxury and modern rooms and the hotel has a very luxury vibe close to viaduct harbour and excellent views throughout. I will defintely retreat myself here again next year.
S.
Amazing place to stay in Auckland. 7 Star views with 7 Star breakfast. The only thing to improve is In room entertainment like they need to replace their old TVs to Smart TVs. There was no Netflix or Prime. Otherwise I 100% recommend Hilton Auckland for your stay.

Please note I very rarely ever complain I just never go back so for me to complain it means it was fairly underwhelming. We arrived for breakfast at 9.30 am Sunday morning expecting to get a yummy buffet breakfast however we were advised due to COVID restrictions our breakfast was now a an order sheet on the table. A little disappointed but it is what it is. I understand it’s difficult for you and your staff as well. We sat down and called over a waitress pretty much straight away as we wanted to get away as quick as we could. At 10.30 finally somebody bought our toast over and advised sorry about the long wait but they are playing your food up now. Unfortunately the toast was not toast it was bread. 😢 Ok well it’s been an hour but it’s finally coming. Great we thought however 15 minutes later I called the same lady over and asked where our food was stating it had been 15 minutes since she advised it was coming. She looked a bit confused and then whizzed off and a few minutes later she arrived back with our plates. So disappointed. Bacon was cold along the 2 poached eggs that were hard and cold (didn’t eat them) only thing that was ok was the sausage. Everything else was poor. Could be worst breakfast ever. To make it worse the couple who were sitting next to us and arrived an hour after us we’re getting there food at the same time. I decided to tell the young man at reception about my experience who advised we’ve had a number of complaints regarding this matter and I’ll pass it on to upper management. Oh great that’s sorted then. Look I know it’s hard for everyone these days with what’s going on but you guys in tourism have done it really tough so to drop the ball so badly it was disappointing.
Would love your thoughts

Finally after many years we got to stay here. It was all we had hoped. Just like being on a ship. We got a room facing the water which was perfect. Not sure how it would be facing the road or pool.
R.
Went there for our wedding anniversary. The room was very nice, with a sea view. The staff are friendly and the room service exceeded expectations.

Easily the best Hilton properties in Oceania. Visited this hotel on the 18th of March for my birthday. Got a nice touch of an upgrade for my 5 day stay along with some welcome gifts.
Genuinely felt welcomed and valued as a customer. Everything from check-in, check-out and everything in between have been perfect, especially with the perks and upgrades that came with being a diamond member.
What really set this property apart were the staff members, all the staff members were welcoming and extremely attentive throughout my stay. Julia who had been wonderful delivering a cheerful greeting every morning with exceptional service. Her attention to detail and warm service really made the highlight of my stay. Examples would be offering to have breakfast sent to the room after I felt unwell one morning and even offering to ask the kitchen to prepare items that were not available on the regular menu. In this day and age, staff in regular restaurants would certainly say, "Sorry, we don't serve that". From this we can see, FISH is not just your "regular restaurant".
The room was really cosy and clean, the beautiful harbour view made the stay one of a kind. Air-conditioning was great and was very responsive, wifi was fast even connecting/streaming with multiple devices. All the amenities were wonderfully maintained by housekeeping.
The only improvement I can see would be a possible renovation with some of the dated fittings, the balcony railing was splintering. I did encounter few maintenance issues but they were quickly and professionally resolved. Those downs are nothing compared to the ups. After-all, what matters the most is service, and from what I can see, the service offered was second to none.
Looking forward to come back some other day.
Ka Kite,
Neil Z Chen

Highlight was Christmas Dinner, excellent menu with great service. Large comfortable quiet room - will definitely be back for next year if not before!
P.
Staying at the Hilton the harbour is my favourite holiday treat. Harbour views, excellent service and incredibly comfortable bed provide a wind down like no other.

It has been a couple of years since we sampled what Bellinis and Fish Restaurant have to offer.
Bellinis have various entertainment on offer at different nights of the week, and that is what initially drew us back here, and even had us up dancing before 8pm.
Fish is still lovely, stylish, with superb and knowledgeable service from Andrea and especially Tony, and the creative cuisine absolutely damn stunning.
Getting a Brydes Whale to swim around in front of the restaurant was a bonus that can only be experienced in a waterfront restaurant, but the staff were reluctant to take credit for mother nature's show!! Just joking guys.
We had such an enjoyable night that we will return next week.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Princes Wharf last weekend for our anniversary. Greeted on the front door by Fred who was jovial and helpful. He kindly held our bags while we went to sort parking. Everytime we left and returned we recieved a friendly greeting from him.
The room was beautiful and they had supplied some delicious local chocolates and a congratulatory card upon arrival.
Breakfast the first day was off a set menu, but I ordered the Avo on toast with Halloumi and added salmon. My partner got the farmers breakfast and it was awesome.
Breakfast day 2 was what we were waiting for. The buffet was amaazing. Fresh fruit, pastries, mini Chia puddings, overnight oats. Hot and tasty eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms. And service is quick, frequent and efficient. Two nights wasn't long enough. Thank you Hilton!
M.
Service is outstanding, buffet breakfast was nice, room was clean and open. Walls seemed thin in the room we stayed in but view was spectacular.
W.
Overall...a great experience. Got a bit stung by the valet parking. The sign said full but was offered the service and said sure. Didn't know the other side of the sign said $55.
J.
Hilton Auckland ticked all of our boxes from the time we pulled up in our car to the time we left. Great job considering Covid is a pain in the bum for many businesses. Looking forward to our next visit :)
m.
5 star service. Amazing views. And dont miss out on the morning buffet. Definitely returning to Hilton.
a.
well , everything was top notch , stay in the room , breakfast at fish , service .
I would definetly recommend Hilton Auckland to all my friends and families
J.
Great location. They need to iron out a few issues with the rooms and it would be perfect.
T.
Amazing views! Kind staff ! Very helpful I definitely found it super relaxing and it was super nice to just relax somewhere nice after the covid lockdown I definitely will be back for a weekend to relax 🥰
R.
My wife and I had a great birthday weekend in one of the suites. It was pleasant, clean, and since there was a wedding, way quieter than I expected. The breakfast was fresh and tasty with a lot of options available. All in all, a lovely visit.
t.
Had an awesome 2 night stay! Really good location with heaps of restaurants so close. Really nice king suite room with a huge balcony. Easy valet parking. Excellent buffet breakfast with stunning views of the harbour and a really nice bar downstairs for those pre dinner cocktails. Thanks to the team at the Hilton for a wonderful weekend.
P.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely and the breakfast was lovely!
D.
We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary, The Hilton Auckland had touches like early check-in, balloons in the room, yummy chocolates, red velvet muffins, and a voucher for the bar. Valet parking was made so easy on arrival and we were greeted with smiles and helpful advice. Our room was spectacular and beyond our expectations. The view lovely. We had dinner at The Fish and this was the best Snapper i have had, delicious all round and well worth the visit. Our breakfast the next morning was very yummy and the choices were many. The staff very helpful and attentive. Overall the best experience at a hotel i have had here and overseas, thank you The Hilton.
M.
It was absolutely beautiful. We were treated so well, had a great sleep, the food was lovely and the service absolutely wonderful. I would love to go there again this time for a holiday not a work stay...thank you. Photos are views from my room 🥰
J.
Felt warmly welcomed by all the staff and treated like a guest they were happy to have in their hotel. Enjoyed the view of the water and watching the ships and ferries, very comfy bed, lovely food and plenty of selection at breakfast. Would happily return again.
F.
Customer service was very good and lovely staff beautiful view and clean but the bed very bad old mattress hopefully renewed the furniture 😊 thanks

We stayed at this Hilton hotel on our Anniversary, which was also New Years Eve. I made the staff aware prior to our arrival that it was our Anniversary, and they went out of their way to make our stay special. Our room was large (a king suite) with a super comfortable and fluffy bed, fully stocked mini-bar and coffee station, and a large outdoor patio. Since we wanted to watch the fireworks from the Sky Tower on our Anniversary, I asked for a room with a view of the Tower, and our room was perfect. (We were so happy that they gave us the room that we wanted!!!) The harbor views were amazing, too. We had the breakfast buffet in the hotel the following morning, and it was very good with plenty of options. The waiters were attentive and friendly, too. I think what made our stay so pleasant and enjoyable was the super friendly and helpful staff, by far! From the guy who parked our car, to the front desk staff, concierge, and waiters, we always felt like we were being treated well and being taken care of. The location of this hotel is perfect, also. It is only a few minutes walk to tons of restaurants and shopping, a few minutes walk to the ferries and boat docks, the America’s Cup village is literally next door, and about a 15 minute walk to the Sky Tower. I would definitely recommend it and we would definitely stay here again
L.
We had some drinks at the hotel bar. Friendly staff and good service, however, we had to wait a bit longer than expected.
E.
Great service, beautiful views.
Very Clean and comfortable bed.
M.
Hotel is what one would expect at the price except for the continued failure to offer the advertised food platters in the lounge/dining area. Over a month between stays and the platters - that are on the printed menu - are still not available due to the food offering being 'redesigned'. Not good enough.
T.
Great service. Great location for views, but it's at the end of the pier so you'll have to walk a few minutes to get to the restaurants (and the hire e-scooters can't be parked down the pier). The pool was closed for maintenance when I was there (May 2021), which was a bummer because I heard it was very cool.
F.
Very nice beautiful.i told my husband yesterday our next anniversary we come here
N.
Had a school ball here it was really nice. Was kinda expecting a ball room and was surprised that the dance floor was quite small. The food was really good however and decorations were really nice.
C.
Our room was nice and comfortable and the view was worth paying for! We did have a few issues, like our room had free breakfast included but the assistant manager didn't specify that it was only the buffet breakfast and not the main menu costing us an extra $70. If future they should specify that
C.
Amazing location, friendly and welcoming staff, lovely and helpful. Thank you for making our day so lovely
A.
Nicely appointed rooms and quiet which is important. Nice view from the bar and restaurant. These days I do think some kind of casting ability is important in the rooms for a premium hotel. Friendly staff on reception desk.
S.
We (me and my son) have had a few stays at Hilton Auckland and always happy with everything from Valet car park, checking-in, dinner, room services to checking-out.
The location is perfect as we often booked the rooms/suits with ocean-view, and only walking distance to many restaurants in Viaducts.
I didn't really get to use other facilities as I had my son with me but hope to try the gym someday.
G.
The hotel is so close to the Viaduct Basin and the CBD which suited us. We will go back to the Hilton whenever we are in Auckland.
The meals were beautiful and well presented. We were always made to feel welcome …
L.
Just wish I could have used the pool but it was under maintenance. Superb customer service, amazing!! Generously sized rooms. Hope I can stay here again. Highly recommended
G.
Great location with great views in half of the hotel. Not recommended for leisure travelers unless you are able to get ocean view room.
Staff were friendly and professional. Food in the Fish restaurant is in par with many good restaurants in Auckland.
N.
We stayed there for a work conference for 3 days. The rooms were beautiful views exceptional and your staff everyone of them were hopeful to the extent of going above and beyond. I left some dress pants there and after a few phone calls back and fourth one of your wonderful staff dropped them off to my husband at Domain lodge. So I thankyou you are all Awesome👍
A.
The hotel ambience is very cozy and friendly. The staff are very helpful, friendly and approachable. Always willing to give a helping hand. The hotel menu is fantastic. Food serve fresh and warm. Almost all the rooms has an awesome view of the Auckland harbour, wharf and city. Looking forward to patronize Hilton again.
M.
Phone system handling inbound calls needs an overhaul...
Inside perfect, outside (over the balcony) - needs a major clean up!
Overall - the room and service was great :-)
B.
We absolutely loved our stay on Auckland's Anniversary day. Our room was very comfortable with perfect views of the fireworks. Peaceful, interesting scenery. From 1st arrival being greeted by Valet & luggage collected to cheerful efficient reception we were made to feel welcome & valued. Comfy beds excellent room temperature lots of towels. Easy TV control. Convenient to Viaduct & ferries. Quiet. Helpful & friendly room service staff. Efficient checkout and car delivery made us decide we can't wait to return. We came home very relaxed. Huge thanks.
A.
Overall a lovely stay, great location, upgrade to the harbour view rooms, well worth it. Staff were excellent. The only negative is the 500mb of free wifi. Very budget for such a large expensive hotel.
D.
I was the photographer a conference hosted at the hotel. From a photographers point of view the venue is spectacular. Right on the water but with adequate diffusion covering on the windows that you can see outside and still see the projector screens just fine.
The stage lighting was great with all colours pointing where they should while leaving the speakers spot daylight balanced.
Valet parking is right next to the conference section of the hotel and reception and is comparable to parking in any of the other downtown car parks.
Venue host was on top of everything and able to answer all questions. The food was excellent too, healthy options as well as more hearty meals too.
The room was large enough to accommodate a lot of attendees and still have sponsored booths around the outside of the seating area.
The only complaint if anything would have to be about the large structural pillars throughout the room. A number of the tables remained empty because the pillars blocked some of the view to the lecture. The big screens are visible from anywhere though and make up for it, the same as in other larger venues where you are too far back to see the speakers anyway.
Would definitely host another event here.
J.
We stayed in the King Deluxe Plus which had an awesome waterfront view and a large balcony on the 8th floor. It had a large living area and great amenities. We're planning to return for sure!
B.
Location excellent.
Staff all did more than expected, they all made me feel welcome.
Very good value for money, I would find it hard to visit another Hotel when I go back to Auckland
N.
Gustavo the head concierge was so welcoming, helpful and gracious. Beautiful harbour views, love the bath, very attentive doormen, lovely spread for breakfast, sparkling clean and comfortable. Beautiful linens.
L.
Fabulous place to stay. The rooms, food, drink, staff, view, all top notch. central location, cafes restaurants nearby, loved watching the harbour activity. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend.
D.
Most delightful visit. Venue beautiful and staff most attentive
R.
Definitely be staying here again in the future. Nice clean and quiet.
G.
Our stay was great, nice cocktails in the bar, handy location. Communication before stay was poor, emails not responded to etc. Clearly water had got under the tiles on the balcony, you could hear it when we walked on balcony.
S.
I was very dissapointed with our stay. Our 45th wedding anniversary, expensive platter and champagne not delivered to the room on arrival, yet charged!! Bags left in car, yet charged, made us late for our celebration dinner by 1 1/2 hours, could not get front desk to answer, to get our bags, really late eating and really ruined the night, my husband was furious. Not enough offered to make up for it at all. Will think twice shout sending clients or ourselves there again. Hilton you need to make this right, you charge the earth and you really are not worth it!!!!
S.
Hotel was great, no real complaints apart from checking in and out both seemed overly lengthy...between 5-10 minutes each time. ( Pre booked, 1 night, 2 people ). Sounds whiney, but it was slow.
We had dinner at Fish, and we had to ask for refills on drinks more than once, and dessert took so long, we cancelled it. Not good.
So the 4 stars are because of Fish.
A.
Dined at the FISH restaurant but the valet service was great. Hotel looked really well polished with a very fashionable decor and seating arrangement. Amazing views of Auckland harbour. If I wasn't living in Auckland I'd definitely would want to stay here.
K.
Great location . Went with five for a high tea.
Delicous and well presented savoury bites.
Some of the sweet choices did not suit me but overall good. Inconsistent presentation of cold drink came out once with a lime in it the second time not so the bar was not brilliant. Teas and coffees were great with a large tea selection
S.
Stay was great but had to cut it short due to auckland going into lockdown. Brilliant service. Staff and rooms just awesome!!!
D.
Nice rooms great amenities friendly staff
P.
Very nice Hotel. Perfect location. Very good restaurant

Buffet Breakfast,is a must, and was so Irresistible,to say the least.
Thank you,for my Complimentary Birthday Drinks,as well.
That was a Beautiful Present, from your Hardworking, and Kind Staff.
I will definitely come,and stay again😊
T.
Great location, top hotel, wonderful experience.
D.
Beautiful view over the harbor, and lovely room. Admittedly didn't use or see all the facilities. And a small down side is the TV is quite restricted, however there were able to 'unlock' it soni could use my HDMI device. Over all I had a lovely seemless experience, and would come back.
N.
Cosy and classy foyer. The fires are mesmerising. The restaurant food and cocktails where delicious. I didn't stay in the hotel but imagine the rooms would be awesome.
L.
The personal service here is top notch. The concierge remembers your name and greets you each time they see you, asking how your stay is going. Customer service alone definitely rates 5 stars alone. The rooms are clean and spacious. Reasonable tariffs. I would recommend Hilton for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
G.
This is one of my favourite hotels to stay at on the planet. The location and access to the ferry terminal, shops, downtown is second to none.
The building is striking and the rooms are large and outstanding (thanks for the upgrade) with great views of the harbour and terminal.
Room service was delicious and the Canterbury Lamb Loin was to die for. Good wine selection too.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Can't wait to visit Auckland and stay here again.
M.
Great experience, lovely staff and exceptionally good service.
L.
Excellent experience all round, staff and facilities were great.
S.
Excellent spot, and great staff, highly recommend The Hilton Auckland
J.
Loved my stay here. Perfect location for a business trip. Very comfortable and great staff
G.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, upgrade to a top floor room with harbor views, it's worth it, spacious balconies with lounges and sitting areas. The rooms themselves are bright and modern. Exceptional service from everyone going out of their way to come over and say hi and help. The bar area is incredible as well. The only issue is your may want to ask about the cruise schedule, when the monstrous ships pull in, they completely obstruct the view of the harbor.
S.
The habour views were amazing. Worth paying the extra money for. Our view was slightly blocked by the supprt columns but it was nice over looking the water.
The room was clean and serviced by a lovely cleaning lady. She rocked. …
B.
Staff are inviting and engaging. Room is fresh and quiet, allowing for a great sleep. Has a bath for a quiet soak. Breakfast has all the trimmings. Location is perfect for a night out or a morning stroll along waterfront.
J.
Nice hotel. Breakfast is fantastic, part of that is related to the crew there, always smiling and helpful, that's a good start of the day.
Hotel is located close to the ferry, making it easy to get around.
M.
Staff was extremely lovely and very helpful as it was our first visit. Room was nice however we had no milk for the coffee provided(and no water provided) no bath robes, a small amount of shower supplies (enough for 1 not 2 people) and room service food was poor. However if you walk down into the fish restaurant the food is to die for! Id go back again but would email to see whats in the room. Overall an awesome experience, cant wait for the next time!
M.
What a fantastic weekend,, thank you Hilton Hotel, the staff was over and beyond helpful. Suberp service, the view was perfect, meals was excellent.. Love love love, and will certainly be back.. Be well and be safe all
J.
One of the best properties ever. The views are amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean and serenely quiet even with the balconies. Bar and common place close early but can have drinks in your room or hang in lobby/great area.
R.
Loved our stay, the room, the view was wonderful.
hotel staff were very welcoming.
B.
Very up market. Comfortable couches great service for drinks
Z.
Good ambience...good food good service!
J.
Customer Service is amazing and world class. Front Of House was spot on. Service with a smile. Dinner at Bellini Bar was delicious. Couldn't have asked more for a special birthday dinner. My kids really enjoyed the hospitality from everyone. Thank you Hilton Auckland..
N.
We were treated to a free upgrade and complimentary chocolates for our anniversary. Beautiful view of the harbor and lovely service. Loved the peach bellinis at the inhouse bar
J.
The Hilton Auckland in my experience was worth the 5 star rating, from the Valet parking to the hospitality at the front desk(Donald), very informative and courtese, discretion and privacy is what I paid for, and the staff at the Hilton Auckland did not disappoint. I look forward to my next visit, and highly recommend.
T.
An outstanding Hilton. Great, friendly service and clean rooms. Great perks as a Diamond member- nice upgrade to relaxation suite for my 3 night stay. The view was absolutely incredible and room was spacious. Breakfast was also quite good. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Auckland.
M.
Attended reception and stayed two nights here. Amazing experience, excellent customer service towards myself and my 8 months pregnant wife. Awesome stuff!
R.
I had an AMAZING stay at the Hilton Auckland back in March, 2020. Upon arrival, I was greeted and assisted by Donald, whom took Customer Service to the next level. They provided a room on the top floor with a balcony, and a great view of the city and the pier. The room was amazing! Housekeeping and the room service staff were exceptional! Everything was perfect during this stay, with Donald even offering recommendations of things to do. This particular Hilton reminds me of why I am loyal to the Hilton brand! I highly recommend staying here. It is a little bit more costwise than the other hotels, but well worth it! I will definitely be staying here again!
B.
Our last day in 2016 leaving New Zealand about an amazing adventure of a life time to get married in Hobbition and spend 28 days here on this beautiful country and beautiful city.... The best hotel we ever stayed in PERIOD
T.
Beautifully designed bar and good location but the service at the bar is very poor and doubly so far a Hilton.
S.
Very nice and friendly hotel with great service. The harbor view room is quite nice, with a nice balcony having nice view to the harbor. The breakfast was provided in the restaurant, FISH, located on the first floor, which also had a very nice view. Guests can order omelette and egg meals, which are very delicious. The hotel is just on the dock, appears like a ship. Overall, a very nice experience to stay here.
On the second visit, the hotel recognized the birthday and decorated the room with balloons and provided coffee and chocolate. Very impressive.
W.
Spent New Year's Eve here. Rooms were clean and wonderfully furnished. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The view of Sky Tower from our balcony was great, but we had an even better view from the fitness room on the fourth floor. Easy walking distance to downtown Auckland. Wonderful place, would stay here again.
R.
Modern hotel with stylish and comfortable public spaces. Excellent breakfast buffet, one of the best I've had in quite sometime. Attentive, pleasant and well-trained staff. Great views, unless a cruise ship is docked next door, which was the case for 2 of the 3 days we were there. Our room was very clean, well-appointed & comfortable. The waterfront area of Auckland is currently undergoing a massive public works project, so getting to & from the hotel is a bit of a problem. That & the blocked views when a cruise ship is present were the reasons for the 4-star review, all of the other aspects of the hotel are worthy of a 5-star rating.
A.
Good views over the harbour towards rangitoto island
L.
Nice hotel in a busy party area of the city. Lots of construction in the area so beware, parking is 45 dollars per night, the breakfast is good. Great ocean view. The pool was under maintenance when we went so that was disappointing. It has an infinity pool over the ocean which was another reason to go.
M.
Perfect location for the viaduct nightlife. Good hotel while the rates are low at the moment. Spacious room with spectacular view and a large balcony.
K.
From the moment we stepped into the reception area, we felt very special guests. We opted for the Celebration package, which is such good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3rd stay here and highly recommend it. Great location and fabulous breakfast and very nice staff
T.
Very friendly staff. Location is awesome
S.
Gorgeous Hilton! Great location right downtown. Restaurant had great views for breakfast. Had a nice, clean, spacious, comfortable room overlooking the ferry terminal. Beds were very comfy. Staff was very helpful when I had made a mistake with my booking and accommodated us. Wish we had more time there!
L.
What a nightmare. We made a booking for one night and wanted to arrange a shuttle to/from the airport which their website mentioned was an available service. After spending 60 minutes trying to reach the hotel to speak to someone, we were put on hold again, only to be told that they did not have a shuttle service available and that we should spend $50 on a taxi to get to them. We called again and asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold AGAIN for another 60 minutes, in which they provided horrible customer service. The representative that we spoke to has trouble understanding that our check in day was today and she kept saying our check in day was tomorrow, which was quite frustrating honestly because we had the reservation in front of us and we were correct on our end. In the end we were not able to talk to anyone at the hotel on the phone, did not get a hotel shuttle from the airport, spend 90 minutes sitting at the airport on HOLD on the phone with them.
We ended up taking a shuttle carrying 5 bags with us, which made things really uncomfortable getting there. However once we got the hotel the staff were very friendly and understood our frustration. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are comfortable.
s.
Beautiful cool seaside place nice service nice coffee+drinks and very comfortable beds loved this little place

What an amazing place! It's on the end of the wharf so it's like waking up on a cruise ship but without all the bogans who only came for the drinks package.
S.
Exceptional stay. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Booked a king deluxe room which had a balcony with great views of the harbour, a massive bath and super comfortable bed. The room was beautiful. Price was reasonable given the level of comfort experienced and attention to detail shown by the hotel staff.
FISH restaurant is amazing. We had breakfast there daily- hot buffet style breakfast, with different foods to choose from each day. The wait staff there were attentive, nice and polite. We ordered dinner in on one night and it was great- really tasty food.
All of the staff we met at the hotel were always happy to help and seemed happy to be there.
An amazing stay at the Hilton Auckland.
A.
Brilliant location and stunning views
E.
Location is great. The rooms are pretty average given the price. The Hilton bow suite was a massive let down - amazing view but super outdated interior and pretty useless deck space. Food was nothing to get excited about. Given it’s cost we were completely underwhelmed.
P.
We met some overseas guests for lunch who were staying in the hotel.
After waiting some time for a waiter to attend to our meal requirements we then ordered the meals then we waited another 45 minutes at least for "club sandwiches" and fish and chips, there was only one other couple having lunch at the time.
We had to ask how long we were going to have to wait.
One of the guests then found a large piece of plastic within his meal. When this was addressed to the waiter, he just shrugged and replied to the rest of us how was our meals!
This waiter then appeared to be in a hurry to get rid of us, as he wanted to clear our lunch plates asking if we were finished. It was quite obvious that some of us were still eating.
Very poor experience for a so called 5 star hotel.
The rest of our meals were all acceptable.

I attended a one day conference here. It was my first visit to this hotel. The staff were helpful, and the food was very good. The conference room we used was spacious, but set out in a very wide way, with three screens at the front of the room. This meant that the people at the ends of the room had some difficulty seeing the speaker. There was also a surprisingly intrusive amount of noise from boats that docked nearby during the day.
D.
Such a gorgeous site looking out over the harbour. We came for a meeting and coffee but stayed for lunch. Polite attentive staff and very good food.
J.
Great place and staff. Top conference rooms and good fitness centre. The room size is good and the room service. Make sure you get a room with a good sea view. It is a very good location right by the city. Go for an early morning walk. The breakfast is very good value with a top view.
J.
Thank you to the staff of the Hilton in Auckland City.
We were treated like Royalty two south aucklanders from papakura.
From when we walked through to reception and when we leave you gave us a memory of goodness. Our room to watch the fireworks from Sky tower amazing.
I know your staff are missing the cruise ships coming in.
If this is how travellers from overseas are treated I'm grateful your there to receive them. To show them the hospitality that you gave us.
You made our New Year .
May 2021 bring you and your staff the best.
R.
The room was brilliant.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The food was the only letdown but I'm assuming the chefs aren't there due to the whole covid thing as the main restaurant was closed, but I were hoping for more in that department.
V.
If you are looking for a fantastic place for “special” times with your partner and spend a weekend with wine and room service, this is a rock solid bet. Classy kind of nice.
A.
Great service, great location, but poor outdoor setup despite the great possibilities. May be they don't need that. Lack of imagination for the outdoor seating. Indoors are cool. The bar is fine. There was live music on, it must have been cool for some.
G.
Room cost $350.00 per night but had to pay a further $55.00 PER day parking....bit of a wrought i think. During these covid times we want to attract people to Auckland, not purge them of their cash
E.
It's at the far end of a long wharf, and parking is expensive, but the hotel is elegant, the interiors are warm and well-designed, views are hard to beat, and staff were courteous and helpful. The room was small but in keeping with the ethic above. The bathroom was superlative, and for some reason (possibly amusement), the toilet area features a corded phone. Breakfast buffet in hotel restaurant Fish was above average, with friendly staff, commendable selection, and water's edge views. The exterior is a bit banal and mundane, but it's what's inside that counts. It shines.
E.
Our experience at the Hilton was lovely. We were upgraded with no extra charge and our room was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend.
B.
One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at worldwide. Gorgeous view from our patio. Spacious room and bathroom actually (you can even listen to the TV inside the bathroom - button to push). The valet service was top notch. No complaints at all. We would recommend this Hilton to everyone. Location wise it’s perfect for walking around the city and wharf area.
S.
From the minute we arrived early, ( thanks to Mel - legend) allowed to check in and upgraded to a sea view our weekend here has been nothing but perfect and it all started here.
Wonderful rooms and service.
M.
We love staying at the Hilton in Auckland. Great staff, service, rooms and valet parking. Can't fault it!
L.
Very nice as long as you are in a remodeled room... breakfast is great and the staff is very accommodating... if your room is on the right side you may have your view obstructed by cruise ships but its still amazing
M.
The view was spectacular! The sunrise was amazing. We paid $60 for a room upgrade when we got there and it was well worth it! Highly recommend. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and down to earth. If the room service menu catered to vegan's better then I would given 5 stars 😊
D.
Expected a little bit more. Rooms are a bit outdated carpet and bathroom tilling. Outside front of veranda moss/mould linned the sliver railings. Breakfast is average costs more but is around the same if not less in variety and taste as the Novetel chains buffet breakfast but the salmon I had for dinner in the downstairs restaurant was cooked perfectly best salmon I've had! The view is the main reason we would go back and stay reception staff are not as good as staff at Hilton Taupo they dont make you feel special just take your credit card that's it no where you from welcome etc we found it difficult understanding some staff. Breakfast staff were great.
N.
Looked after from the moment we arrived at the door. Wonderful doorman and car valet. Great super helpful receptionist. The place itself is beautiful with decor to give you that little bit of a nautical feel. Warm fires burning on the ground floor foyer and bar area to.make you feel cosy. We had waterfront balcony which allowed us amazing views across the harbour plus a great view of the city lights at night. Room was clean and well stocked with great bedding. We had a wonderful stay. Chose the in room breakfast to enjoy the balcony, for the cost was very basic and not value for money.
D.
Loved the hotel and the staff was amazing. Queenie was working down on their main floor diner Belleni and she was absolutely fantastic and a warm personality. The service was great as was the food and the views were also wonderful. We did some sightseeing and walked around town. The staff was helpful with suggestions and really appreciated the options.
B.
Came by for a conference dinner. Location wise it was a bit away from the CBD but it was a nice walk along the water. It is fairly quiet since it is at the end of a wharf.
The venue was quite big, we had about 250 delegates. Started well with a greeting at the top of the stairs with a drink before the dining area was opened up. The dining area was very large and it had quite nice views of the cloud across the water.
The service was top notch, very friendly staff who were helpful and nice. Best part was the food. You don't expect much from conference dinners but this one was really nice. Large selection of different foods and the quality was decent. It was the same for the dessert although the creme caramel kept running out. They also had options for those with dietary requirements on a separate table.
All and all a very nice conference venue.
S.
Tad expensive for the room size (smaller than the pictures look) but makes up for it on location and harbor view. You just need to know the docking schedule for cruise ships on the princess wharf as they will totally block your view (the hotel will email you but it may not be far enough in advance to change plans).
L.
Our group of friends enjoyed our short stay and plan to stay there again when we are in town to watch another show
C.
One of the reception guys was so rude! Unhelpful & impatient!
Despite his horrible attitude I am rating a 5 because of the service from other workers & the magnificent Hilton hotel. The valet was lovely! Tayla who works here is amazing! So helpful!! Appreciate the kindness!
Did a simple set up in the restaurant for a wedding reception. Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view of the water🤩

The Good: The hotel is very clean, staff are very helpful and treated me as an honored guest. The corner rooms have fantastic views if you can get one. The room and bathroom are spacious with plenty of storage areas. The Fish restaurant is pricey, but the breakfast and dinner are both quite good.
The Bad: Not sure about the other rooms, but my corner room had a large gap to the side of the curtain near the door that let in a fair amount of light. If you're sensitive to light, this may be a concern; however, because it is around the corner and facing away from the room, it wasn't a bother to me.
The Ugly: Not a thing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Auckland.
E.
Lovely locations with wonderful rooms. The rooms are modern, large with very large bathrooms. The stand up shower was a bit small though. You can easily walk around town from the hotel. We had a fantastic meal at fish and also enjoyed some cocktails & appetizers downstairs at the bar, Bellini. They do in fact make a great Bellini and I also enjoyed the caipirinha.
D.
Amazing hotel, have been here a few times now. The rooms are very clean and tidy and the beds are insanely comfortable. Views are to die for, and staff are very well trained.
J.
Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Great views of the City skyline, harbour traffic which included ferries, merchant ships and cruise ships. Some cruise ships can block views, but they are generally there only one day. Front desk staff was very accommodating. Bar and breakfast staff really make it a point to get to know you.
A.
I had a lovely stay at Hilton together with my boyfriend. The front desk/reception were very attentive to my needs by checking up on me frequently via text messages. The room and bathrooms were very clean. Room service is good. The harbour view at night and in the early hours of the morning are to be remembered. Thank you Hilton!
R.
If you're visiting Auckland, the Hilton is an excellent choice. It's conveniently located, well-appointed, and the staff are excellent. Highly recommended!
C.
I can throughly recommend the Hilton Auckland.Such a pleasure to stay in this Hotel where you are greated warmly from the minute you walk in .We have stayed in many hotels worldwide and this Hotel gets gets 5 stars .
We could not fault anything.
K.
It is a nice hotel, but isn't as nice as it appears. All the decoration and style is great but functionally the rooms are a little frustrating.
The most alarming was that our balcony was connected to the 3 rooms next to us. It's a little weird having your curtains open and knowing someone next door could walk right up to your door and see into your room.
The shower is small and all glass. It looks nice but it leaves a space by the door and water drips out, soaking the floor if you shower for more than 10 minutes. The bath faucet pours right into the drain nob so the water splashes all over the floor if you're going to take a bath.
The beds are great and comfortable with a wide selection of pillows, but outlets are only on one side of the bed which makes it hard for cell phone charging with two people. The restaurant looked nice but at $49 a person for breakfast it didn't seem worth it. We had a nice stay, and it's in a nice location but for that price, I feel like we could have had some nicer amenities.
G.
Great location on waterfront and typical Hilton superb service. Sadly the key restaurant wasnt open due to COVID-2019. Will likely check out other eateries close by. Room is well set up with waterfront views and a huge bathroom. The rooms were additionly sealed and wiped down for COVID-2019 quality requirements which helped with customer assurance.
H.
Fish restaurant is fantastic and service with the hotel staff is such a treat
S.
The hotel is very convinence. I am able to walk to the train station, boat station, restaurants, and the central of the city. I was staying in very good view room in my opinion I think It wasn't that super beautiful but better than nothing to see. The morning breakfast was very great, the food was good and freah as well. Stuff are lovely and helpful. Thank you to stuff, who is the host of morning breakfast. She is very nice and good service.
M.
Not to bad at all ,found the staff to be very freindly and helpful.
Not thrilled at the veiw from the room ,look out ,into someone else's room and they can do the same . Reconmend you try for sea veiw. Food is alittle on the high side but nice and convenient. But there is a ton of other eateries 200m from hotel, that are well priced.
Great atmosphere during day,in the bar and lounge area quite at night .(but not to quite)
It was a nice weekend away from the kids worth doing again.
Cheers

Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Auckland. Every staff we encountered was efficient and friendly. The location is fabulous, plus the views over the water are a delight. Our room was fabulously spacious with a great balcony, plus the buffet breakfast and room service hit the spot!
T.
Exceptional.understated service. Room well appointed and the bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get out of it. Dined at Fish and had a great meal also with great service. Would highly recommend.
p.
Great venue for corporate events. Amazing views and good food. Parking is a bit hard but that's across CBD with all the constructions and developments.
M.
A wonderful hotel, in a unique location, and with incredible views. Rooms at the Hilton are large sized, you can really move around. The beds, twin or king, were comfortable. Good sized bathroom as well.
For our two rooms we had wall to ceiling glass windows, and beyond that a balcony allowing is really great views of Auckland.
Just a short walk away are a whole raft of restaurants, and shopping areas.
S.
Our room was clean and modern with a balcony overlooking the wharf area. Fantastic view! The location was great also.Approx a 5 min walk from the main shops, from all of the restaurants on the water.Close enough without being in the heart of it.Easy to catch the ferry to Waiheke Island and other places. The staff were attentive and always wanted to help, from the doorman to reception to the cleaners Breakfast was pretty good, esp loved the gluten free bread, and fresh juices. The only minus points-the hotel needs a Spa :) the pool was rather small and no club lounge. Would recommend.
L.
we live minutes away Hilton is our balcony. Fabulous place to relax on a hot day. News Years Eve was a fab place to be the cocktails were brilliant. Big thank you
A.
We had a fantastic experience at the Hilton, the team was extremely passionate and provided impeccable service. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay and looking forward to the next one!
J.
Excellent service, amazing breakfast and superb fine dining for dinner. Great selection of beverages, local beers & wines with taste testing. The staff have been so helpful with what activities & events to enjoy with limited time & to provide every convenience for an enjoyable stay.
J.
For the price, the service is mediocre - when I stood at the front desk, I was asked "ID?", as if I was a youth entering a bar. Then, of course they have to sting you with the credit card surcharge, because their eftpos machine conveniently declines debit cards. Average package at expensive prices.
J.
I had an amazing opportunity to stay at this hotel. It is not only the location, being on the water, that makes this hotel great. It’s the staff. I was in NZ for 2 weeks traveling and this hotel by far is the best hotel. The staff were AMAZING. I greatly appreciated Tayla and Donald when I checked in. Qantas had conveniently left my luggage in Sydney and Tayla was able to get me in to my room early and Donald gave me insight on the shopping as I had a Hobbit tour the next day, of which Donald indicated would be enjoyable. They were both so pleasant and made it an easy transition. The other staff were also amazing. Breakfast was the best I had in 2 weeks. Everything was superb. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Staff can make or break the business so please take care of them. I look forward to coming back in the future. Cheers.
W.
Great experience due to the impeccable hospitality exhibited by the staff. Arrived early from an international flight and we were accommodated with complimentary coffee while a room was readied. Bar service excellent and personable. Highly recommended!
J.
Wonderful location with a unique setup. Loved the pool looking down on patrons below and the water. Staff were extremely friendly from the bar to the front desk to the door men. Can't wait to come back.
J.
We stayed for 2 nights during our trip to Auckland, and it was great! The room was clean, modern and large, and the service of the staff was amazing. Fabulous views of the harbour, and our trip was awesome.
k.
Room big but expensive. Was told breakfast included at check in. But when we went to have breakfast the next day, was told it cost $10/pax. I argued the front desk clearly said that breakfast was included so the staff check and said OK it is. When we get our food and sat down, the staff came back to say 2nd plate cost $10. Why can't they tell us earlier? Never heard there is such a policy in all my 5 years travel with Hilton. What's more if you want eggs prepared your way, additional $10. Too money oriented when room cost $400 for one night.
M.
Good room albeit facing the apartments opposite but could still see the sea from the room's balcony. Comfortable bed, well appointed room. Breakfast and room service both good standard. Great to be on the waterfront for an evening stroll. My new preferred Auckland Hotel.
A.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: visit the public viewing balcony at the very end of the pier up the staircases in the middle! Beautiful place to enjoy the waterfront with benches and shade. Always very quiet as it’s not well advertised - definitely spend some time down here if you can!
T.
Great place to stay, have been here several times and will continue to come back. Only possible downside is the cruise ships which berth outside. You need to make sure you are on the top floors as I imagine the lower floors would not have the best view when cruise ships are in.
M.
Great location. Contemporary styling. Concierge provided some great recommendations for walk-able restaurants. Fish cafe/restaurant has nice outlook in the morning for breakfast. Interconnecting room had some noise transfer. Helpful and friendly staff.
T.
Rooms were nice' The food was more to be desired although surrounded by many amazing restaurants 😀
p.
Excellent location, awesome staff. Getting a bit dated but still a great hotel
N.
Great hotel and was here for a few weeks on business. Staff were amazing and so was the the service at the various areas around the hotel.Check-in and Checkout were seamless and the concierge were always attentive in getting you to your destination and organizing a taxi.
S.
Good food and good service
O.
A good place to stay when you are in Auckland. Just minutes walking distance to the city. The harbor view rooms are lovely, but you will have the noises coming there from in the morning. If the window is open ;-) but that wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast is very good, and in the evening you can have a drink or two at the bar.
S.
Great hotel with lovely staff and exceptional service. You always know you will be well taken care of at the Hilton!! Facilities are EXCEPTIONAL and you can tell every single member of staff take pride in their work and just want to make sure your stay is top notch. Definitely a pricey option but if you have the cash to splash, this is the place to do it. Keep in mind though you may struggle to get out of your beautiful room to see the rest of Auckland - though the view of Auckland harbout is second to none.
K.
Excellent job by the team at the Hilton Hotel in Auckland. Room was good and service was excellent highly recommend
Y.
This is an amazing place, good service, nice and tidy place, with a beautiful sea view from the hotel
E.
I normally stay at Hilton Hotels in whatever city I am visiting. I would put this one very much at the top of the list for location, food and a very clean feel about the place.
B.
Spa and pool closed due to covid, but the staff and facilities were friendly and absolutely on point. Super clean.
T.
One of the nicest hotel we stayed during our New Zealand trip.Location is amazing, at the end of the pier, literally in the sea !Hotel is brand new, staff was nice and gave us good recom***dations. It's located near the harbor/bay with ***y restaurants and bars around.Breakfast was good.Recommended.
L.
We stayed for two nights before starting our road trip across NZ. The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown right on the waterfront, so the view is amazing. As a Hilton member, I checked in ahead of arrival and picked a room. When I arrived, a different room was provided (the same location of the room but a lower floor) which was very disappointing. Although the front desk personnel apologized and provided a free bottle of wine and drink coupons for the bar, since I do not care about alcohol but really care about the view, I was not too happy with this. The room was a bit small and too much space wasted in the bathroom due to terrible design decisions around where to position bathtub, counters, etc. Also, for the price of the room, I would expect to have actual drip coffee in the room and not freeze dried coffee. The selection of teas was very good though. Breakfast was very good, and the service was good as well.
P.
Good location in walking distance the heart of the city. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast selection. Unparalleled amazing view of rooms facing the harbour . Nice ambient in the ground floor Bellini Bar....rich selection of cocktails, international beers and drinks.
K.
Amazing location, and that is what attracts most guests. Average breakfast. Hospitality is OK, considering the amount you pay. Rooms are cosy, but might not impress everyone. The lighting in rooms is very dim.
K.
Really great service, rooms have a lot of natural light. Will definitely stay again
M.
Outstanding services and food. Our room just needed a little more care for cleanliness outside.
I.
I recently stayed two nights there and for a hotel with the Hilton reputation I was very disappointed.
I felt the hotel was run down and behind the times, the swimming pool, was it really a swimming pool, more like a small paddling pool, centrally not for swimming lengths and two people in it and it would be crowded.
It was also rather dirty so no way would I want to swim in it, even if I was brave enough to try.
The rooms, old fashioned in that they just have a kettle and basic packet coffee, good hotels now have express coffee machines, come on Hilton get with it.
Television, was unable to get TV2, a basic NZ station, they did send a tech to look at it, but he'd no idea what I was even talking about, his English was not good, said he'd check with his manager, but I heard no more.
Also mini bar was short on sparkling water, so I phoned and requested a bottle, said it would be delivered it wasn't, nor the next day, but I was charged for it!! They did removed it from the bill.
The staff were pleasant and friendly, my room service meal was was fine and delivered quickly.
As said for a Hilton I expected better.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIRᴀven. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

Was fortunate enough to have a friend invite us here for a small party. He was upgraded to a suite, very generous of them. Big room and beautiful almost-360° views of the wharf out to the sea.

Service and welcome by #YoungSung - apologies if spelling is incorrect 🤣🙏🏿🤣🙏🏿🤣🙏🏿🤣cheeseboard amaZing🥂✨🥂✨🥂thankyou for my birthday, long birthday weekend with a very Goodt and kind friend 🎉😂
G.
Located right on the beautiful waterfront close to buses and ferries its extremely easy to get to. It has beautiful views of the waterfront that cant ve beat. However, the rooms are quite tightly packed in and it can be tricky to navigate your way around the inside. The facilities cloud do with a do over also.
M.
We stayed in a Relaxation Suite on the water and the room itself is incredible. Multiple rooms, comfortable living area, great bed, wall-to-wall windows looking out to the harbour. There were two disappointments, though: the bathroom, especially the shower, seemed awkwardly small and the construction on the upper level is very distracting and noisy. Our note inside the room indicated that there was no work being done on Sundays. That turned out to be untrue, as the saws began sawing at 7am! We were up anyway, but it has a feel that one is sleeping at a construction site, I guess because we were! The upgrade was discounted so we were still pretty pleased with the room, but I feel that the front desk should have at least mentioned the construction work. All in all, it was a 4-star stay in a 5-star hotel.
W.
Nice hotel right next to cruise ship terminal. Good coffee bar, nice 1st floor restaurant for included breakfast. Good view. No e rooms with harbor view. Spacious. Can walk right out side to Princess wharf.
J.
Another amazing property right on the pier in Auckland. The place feels like a beach combers dream, white and bright but elegant. I was here for a conference and the service was excellent and the place beautiful. These are some views from the top floor of the conference room.
Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
N.
They dry cleaned my suit at a moment's notice and free of charge. The service was exceptional and the view amazing. The harbour side can be somewhat noisy in the morning if there are cruise ships in.
R.
Well presented. Helpful & friendly staff. Bar made good drinks. Would stay again
C.
Was at the Hilton for a conference. The location makes it an inviting place to come to, being right on the water. The food was great. To get to the main lobby area for the conference required a flight of stairs. I dont know what was provisioned for wheelchair access.
In all, recommended for conferences.
L.
Good venue for conferences with fantastic sea views and great food. The chairs are absolutely diabolical though and not pleasant for half an hour let alone a whole day.
R.
Had a lovely stay. Great views of harbour and city. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was great too.
M.
Couldn't fault the service or the room. Really nice touches like welcoming congratulatory note with chocolates in our room and a beautiful congratulatory plate with our meal. The entire staff including those who took care of our car and luggage were amazing and very helpful. We will definitely g there again. In fact it may well be pur 24th September go-to bolt hole! Thank you for being so good.
M.
Very nice hotel on the water. Be warned that cruise ships do dock directly alongside the balcony for those with a port view, but it's only for the day when they are in port.
The concierge was very helpful, as was the rest of the staff. We did have to relocate to the crowne plaza for one night due to electric work being done on prince's wharf one night, but the hotel and staff handled everything for us.
D.
Lovely hotel, first stay here but we will definitely be back.
C.
Everything was outstanding. Service, food, cleanliness, staff, location. Couldn’t fault the place. The best stay we have had anywhere! We will definitely be staying again.
S.
Was fortunate enough to have a friend invite us here for a small party. He was upgraded to a suite, very generous of them. Big room and beautiful almost-360° views of the wharf out to the sea.
E.
Hotel was great with many amenities , great service from most professional staff but administrator Joaan Lee was rude & horrible to us.
J.
Spent a wonderful week at this location with my wife on our honeymoon. Rick really welcomed us to begin with. And throughout the rest of the stay, the entire team was very friendly and service was excellent. Thank you for a memorable experience!
D.
Loved the hotel. Great service. Rooms have a great view. ( mostly facing water front). Amazing staff!
P.
Very nice hotel, the 5 stars don't need any explanation. The service was more than friendly and the room was amazing with quite the view. However, there is quite the price tag accompanying this.
C.
The service standard of the staff was among the best I have encountered in this country. Consistent across different roles too. The room (509) was substandard. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned (child hand prints in the tile area among other signs) and the lower shower sills showed obvious rot in the timbers, plus the lowest edges of the door and sills looked to have lacked a good scrub in some time. Both of us were struck enough by this that we purchased cleaning material and cleaned the tub before using it (to be sure it was done properly). For the price point I was disappointed - suggest people wanting to stay around that area consider the Heritage instead
A.
Superb service and hotel, this was our overnight stay in the city to see the fireworks and the harbour bridge lights and just a general night out on the town.
j.
Solid. This place is just solid on all fronts. Great service, solid dishes, great ambience. We ordered oysters, 3 small plates (crayfish mac n cheese, Kingfish sashimi, king crab bisque) and a snapper fish and chips to share, as well as 2 drinks - at about $100, I thought that was fair, given the quality of food.
A.
Amazing service. All staff extremely friendly and very helpful first and foremost. Location and standards of Hotel 2nd to none. But the people/staff who work there putting their guests as top priority make this one of the best hotels I have stayed at anywhere in the world
L.
My wife and I have stayed here a lot in the past 6 months and we love it. Very friendly staff always a great stay.
D.
Lovely Hilton situated by the harbour which is beautiful but also a tad noisy in the room with cruise ships literally outside your balcony.
The only other downside I experienced was our food order was forgotten about which put a damper on our evening.
F.
Rooms are getting a worn-and-torn. Dont get the $39 basic breakfast. Better to head out for local options.
G.
This is a amazing hotel on the bay of Auckland New Zeland. Probably the best Hilton I have ever seen. Room are large and full of equipment. Bed was relaxing and very comfortable. We had a superview on the bay and I really did not want to leave the room! Breakfast is top probably one of the best I had in a luxury hotel. Simply excel. Five stars well deserved.
T.
One of the best Hiltons. Location on Princess Wharf juts out into the harbour, design of public spaces and guest rooms makes best use of the incredible light. Staff really switched on and helpful. Fred on the front door, top man!
L.
The decor, location and staff are 5 star, but this is not a quiet hotel for relaxation. There is not good insulation and I could hear every person that walked down the hall and everything the person in the room next to me did. There was a party in the room beside us one night and it took security 10 minutes to get them to open the door. They turned off the music but drunkenly shouted at eachother as communication and it was well after 1 am before it was quiet. Then there is the issue with the cruise ships. They will tell you upon check in that the harbor view room views will be obstructed while the ships are docked which was not an issue, but we were not warned that they would arrive at 5:30 am with music blaring as passengers disembarked. So noise was an issue for me. We are older and do not party, my holiday was for relaxation after 2 weeks of adventure in the South Island. I also want to point out to Honors members that barista coffee is 5 dollars with the free breakfast. So if you like real coffee and have a couple of them in the morning, it will cost 20 bucks a day per couple. They do not have an executive lounge but give 1 coupon per day per person for drinks.
The location is fantastic as it is close to the train and lots of nice restaurants. If you like to party, it's a wonderful location as there are many bars in walking distance. The surrounding area is great fun and there are several affordable souvenir shops too.

Beautiful hotel and the Fish restaurant is great. The food is superb and service is awesome. The views are stunning. The menu had lots of options and the staff was very polite and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
N.
Spacious and clean rooms, awesome customer service. Great Value
B.
Me and my family visited Hilton to have lunch to celebrate my mother's birthday. The service was amazing as the people serving us were very polite and tried to make us feel welcome. The food excellent, infact it was possibly the best food I have ever eaten at a restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was perfect. It was well designed with a completed view of the Auckland harbor. If your thinking about going out to dinner with family, freinds or Teenagers I would strongly consider you visiting the Hilton restaurant.
J.
Lovely location, great vino with awesome views
A.
Went to body vitals exhibition, it was great. They didn't have any water outside to flush the tapu after though. The hotel cafe was very nice but not very welcoming.
I.
Great views of Auckland, excellent food and great staff. Well worth staying at.
B.
Ate at the resturant during a date night (did not stay in the hotel) and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great and the service was spectacular.
D.
Great spot out on the balcony for a glass of champagne great view however the service was very slow
S.
Great facilities with friendly staff and service. Great location at the bottom of town so noise isn't an issue. Parking in the area is OK but no need to drive since you are well within walking distance of the city and good shopping.
M.
Nice hotel. Cruise ships docking right next to your window is a little annoying if you want quite time. Also they should should have free wifi especially when how much the hotel is per night.
Other than that, it's a great location and has a nice restaurant.
B.
Nice view of the water and city, room was modern but the shower was tiny and extremely awkward to shower in. The bathroom was quite large and open and it didn't really seem like the shower had to be so small and anytime i took a shower watwr wpuld leak all over rhe floor and the shower or drain smelled like mold. It was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and cafes. My room was wrongly charged someone else's $800 dinner charge however, the Staff was very polite and helpful with clearing up the mistake. The most notably positive part of my stay was the valet man. So extremely helpful and personable! For the price wouldn't stay again besides the people who worked there.
D.
Beautiful hotel! Amazing views and In a perfect location. Great for couples and the customer service was top notch.
S.
An excellent high tea , great variety of tasty sweets and savoury. High quality of service as you expect from the Hilton.
C.
Great location and wonderful service
E.
Very pleasant stay as always! Highly recommend this hotel.
M.
First night in NZ was here. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed. The ABSOLUTE BEST breakfast buffet I've ever had.
N.
Don't miss the breakfast! All kinds of good tasting healthy foods. Very generous folks! I asked if my 11 year old would be a child or adult for there purposes - they told me they normally cut it off at 10 but they could make an exception.
M.
Overpriced for the size of the room but you pay for the view...which on our second night was a cruise ship. Literally opened the curtains in the nuddy to be greeted by hundreds of cruise ship cabins. Just waved and said "morning"
N.
Excellent friendly service. Classy menu very nice meal. Environment is a bit austere and it was quite cool. Could have been warmer. Very nice view.

Hilton Auckland is one venue which I have selected for a very special and once in a lifetime occasion. Mr Jacob, the friendly and outgoing captain at FISH restaurant is the reason why I am leaving a public review (something which I tend not to do so despite extensive travels). I would like to thank Jacob for his excellence in Service and Hospitality. I have stayed in various 5* establishments around the world, and have never met someone like Jacob. He has a keen key for details and enhances one's dining experience with sincerity to serve and a sense of humour. Beside the dining experience, I spent 2 nights at the property and overall experience was impressive. Mr Salman Dehlvi, Mr Prasad Gosavi and Mr Oliver Watkinson offered high level of hospitality as well and were always responsive. Hilton Auckland is befitting of being an AMEX The Hotel Collection property for its level of customer service exceeded my expectations. The staff are great assets to the hotel! In Room experience can be improved though.
D.
Great staff, very nice place, would certainly stay again.
M.
Such a cool hotel location with AMAZING views of the harbor. In fact, you're in the harbor.
E.
Had a nice room on the 7th floor, somehow it got infested with ants. Was dealt with promptly though and offered a bottle of champagne as an apology.
S.
Hilton is near the viaduct or Prince Wharf to be exact. Went for the Body Vital World event. Nicely organized. The hotel looks more like ship which is interesting in a way. Would like to attend any other event organized at Hilton.
D.
This a beautiful hotel. Out on the end of a pier with fantastic water views. Magnificent staff. And here is the view from my balcony.
L.
I loved it because I had been there for the year 13 ball with my friends
S.
Personalized service, beautiful views, nice rooms. Was really surprised by the huge cruise ship Voyager Of The Seas in the window of my room in the morning!
Very warm and happy memories!
D.
Most impressive service from the driveway, check in, concierge, the bar, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and the housekeeping staff.
Special mention to concierge Vineet Parashar who is outstanding!
The room , with a harbour view is excellent.
K.
Location is good and accessible. Ocean view is fantastic. Staff was nice and helpful but food and beverage was not too impressive. Car park was a big problem and way too expensive.
A.
Great place to watch the Prada race. Room was nice. Restaurant great. Staff very helpful
M.
Stayed 76 nights here and loved every single of them. Wonderful harbour view and attentive service in FISH restaurant. Very good service to diamond members.
M.
Great location situated on Prince's Wharf on Auckland's downtown waterfront. Had dinner at Fish restaurant. Again great location overlooking the harbour. However I was a little disappointed with the menu compared to previous visits.

A.
Great location.
Harbour view rooms are quite nice.
Amazing customer service ❤️
M.
We love walking tours and this one didn't disappoint. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Auckland is just another nice big city.
N.
Nice ambiance
L.
What a nightmare. We made a booking for one night and wanted to arrange a shuttle to/from the airport which their website mentioned was an available service. After spending 60 minutes trying to reach the hotel to speak to someone, we were …
B.
Ate at the resturant during a date night (did not stay in the hotel) and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great and the service was spectacular.
J.
Spent a wonderful week at this location with my wife on our honeymoon. Rick really welcomed us to begin with. And throughout the rest of the stay, the entire team was very friendly and service was excellent. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Right in the middle of Auckland, rooms are great, service is top notch. Nothing greater than the sea breeze greeting you in the morning. close to nightspots for your enjoyment. However morning and evening rush-hour traffic can be a headache.
M.
Awesome stay. Couldn't fault our experience here. We will be back.
W.
Excellent service, hot beautiful coffee, came with a bowl of peanuts, and ice water. Friendly polite service.

H.
The service was wonderful. The scenery on the warf is spectacular. The Body Worlds Vital was an interesting experience and well. We even got to see a seaplane.
b.
Great place modern the best thing is the view right on the water make sure to get a room with the view or no point staying here. Very central easy location.
J.
Great place for a high tea. Good service and a picturesque setting. Was quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Staff we attentive but not in the way.
B.
Clean rooms, attentive customer service and large bathrooms. The only downside is that it is a bit isolated from the rest of the city but if you're after peace and quiet, that shouldn't be a problem.
R.
Although the view was excellent and the service amicable, the restaurant Fish at the was average for what you were paying for. A more memorable dining experience could be found elsewhere
J.
Perfect accommodation prior to boarding our cruise. Fabulous room & staff were very attentive.
D.
Perfect place to move about Auckland. And the breakfast array of goodies was outstanding. Check in and out was a bit slow but otherwise recommend.
A.
One of the hotel with the best ocean view in Auckland. Overall good hotel. Clean & quiet rooms, perfect size, and good variety breakfast menu. Walking distance to main attractions of the city is a big plus point for this hotel. Plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area about 5 5 minutes walk and about 10 to 15 minutes walk to Queen St where Shopping attractions are at and also the CBD (Central Business District) Keep in mind most stores open 9am-6pm daily in Auckland. For tour around the city or for other info such as transportation options etc you can ask to the nice gentlemen at the hotel concierge ad they will more then happy to help you out.
If you find my review helpful don’t forget to give it a Like 👍🏻. Thank you !

Stayed here 3 nights at start of a Tauck tour of New Zealand and Australia. Very nice room, friendly staff, very nice buffet breakfast, excellent location at tip of Princes Wharf.
D.
Nice hotel in prime area. The rooms need to be updated and more amenities should be offered for their gold Hilton members, as this hotel did not compare favorably to other Hilton Hotels I stayed at worldwide.
J.
Comfortable rooms & a bed that gave me a good night's rest. Good location at the end of the Viaduct away from the commotion of the bars & pubs open late at night. Great views.

Awesome facility. Great for work conference, super relaxing bar area, great conference rooms, nice rooms. Only issue is crazy loud building works
A.
Not the hotel but the public viewing space on the wharf. Great to see a squadron yacht race up close
K.
My visit was only for a few hours for an event. Nice views of the cruise ships in dock. Friendly and helpful staff.
T.
The venue we attended was tidy enough but appeared a little run down. The whole hotel is wonderful though.
N.
Can't beat the view - located at the end of the Princes Wharf, it's an outstanding location if you're catching a cruise. If you take the airport bus, the stop is several blocks away.
