I was Wedding Reception MC for a gorgeous couple who held their celebration at this incredible venue! Not only does Okahu have spectacular views ~ the team are super friendly and highly professional. This venue will make your wedding day magical!

Okahu is an amazing venue! We had our wedding here and everything was perfect! Heitor and the team go above and beyond with everything. They were so helpful and ensured that everything ran smoothly. The venue is beautiful and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend to everyone!

We are so glad that we decided to have our winter wedding at Okahu! We were able to have our ceremony inside the venue which was perfect as we didn’t have to worry about the weather at all. The ceremony space itself was stunning – with glass walls overlooking the pier and views of the city. The dining area also had the same views and our guests could watch the sunset while we all had dinner. Around the venue there are lots of opportunities for amazing photo backdrops. A special thanks to Heitor and Agatha for helping make our wedding so perfect! Heitor is one of the most organised people I have ever met. He was able to provide us with a very detailed run sheet and floorplan and we had multiple meetings to ensure absolutely everything was covered on the day. His input on the layout of the event was great as it made the most of the flow of event space and we were even able to fit a minigolf course inside! Agatha was amazing on the day and even opened up the venue the night before to help us set up the space. She was so helpful and was able to keep us cool, calm and collected on the day while she ensured the smooth running of the event. We all had such a great time - the food was delicious and the service was outstanding with the waitstaff ensuring that everyone’s glasses were always topped up. Thank you for making our wedding better than we could have ever imagined!

Okahu Waterfront :-) The most amazing team, chef and venue to host our CEO farewell, the food and service is amazing, even that we were running late you allowed us to take the time needed and we appreciate you.

We went to wedding held near the river side, with the reception in a large marquee next to the house. It was a beautiful venue! The house itself had a lovely sitting area that opened right up. It appeared to have quite a number of decent sized rooms, as well as at least two bathrooms and three toilets.

Okahu is an amazing venue! We had our wedding here and everything was perfect. Chellie and the team are incredibly helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful, and the view out onto the water is stunning. Would highly recommend Okahu!

Pretty great place for a function. Great views all round. We'll set out and great staff. Food was pretty average. And not good if you're vegetarian.

"ASK THE MANAGER FIRST" Was there for a wedding reception a couple weekends ago. Venue was fantastic, scenery even better, food not bad (bar the bad crackling that was overly chewy and not crispy). However, the staff seemed brainless due to the micro management we witnessed by the lady manager. When we asked if the blinds could be drawn to shield our eyes from the sunny spot we were sitting in, the wait staff looked alarmed and apologised that she would have to ask the manager first. Later, when asking for a drink that would aid a bad cough, the bar staff said they would have to ask the manager first. We found out through the groom's friends that that same lady manager wouldn't let them plan their speech timings around the food before the reception and during the reception when Okahu staff were running late, she was extremely inflexible with the bride and groom and not willing to budge as they had to wait until the staff had collected all the plates. This lady needs a lesson in customer service and a course in EQ. Apart from her and the cheaply paid student staff everything else was up to par.

Gorgeous venue, helpful and attentive staff, divine food. We had an amazing night here! Would love to return.

Was a nice experience, staff were helpful and food was excellent. Found the serving a little contrived though. Seemed a little forced. Was odd to do it and have it feel awkward.
