It is such a shame that the covid-19 has caused so many delightful shows to be cancelled. Hopefully we can have the wonderful shows again in Palmerston North soon.

My parents on their way home via Hamilton went to your "Waltz of my Heart" yesterday 23rd, which according to them was one of your best shows. Loved your pianist, violinist Jess and singers and particularly Karl's humor.

We attended the "Phanton to Les Mis" show on 19th June 2017 in Remuera, featuring Karl, Tizane, Lynette, Rebecca and Alex, accompanied by Paul Carnegie-Jones on keyboard. An amazing experience! These are truly five singers who would grace any stage, anywhere in the world. But; not only were all of the musical performances top-class, but the delivery, the presentation, the sheer exuberance of all of the performers was captivating. The show ran for just under two hours, and never once did the professionalism slip. Our wish for them? a road crew! The lovely Rebecca should NOT have to get her hands grubby packing up cables after the show! Operatunity - please keep up the good work, making audiences happy....

The group is very good, we love them and have gone to several performances and will go again BUT (and here comes the but) the Waltz of my Heart lacked the spirit of Waltz (I am a born Viennese!, hence I claim authority to have a say). Some joke inserted is good to lighten up, but it was too much of it at the almost total cost of the "schmalzy waltzy" spirit turning it into a wreck of a Waltz Buffo event (which is a contradiction). Men in tutus are disgusting and tasteless in a multicultural event; they do not belong to a sensual Waltz. It offends! Was this idea perhaps the good intention "to please everybody, with the risk of pleasing nobody". Perhaps it would be better to focus on pleasing those who come for the theme, stick to the promise and make it an unforgettable event. For the others, they can do with a cabaret in a different event.
