E.As a wedding photographer it is so great to work with venue where the staff are so lovely and super helpful. The venue was a pleaseure to be at , and a great location for an outdoor ceremony, with lots of room upstairs for an indoor one aswell with a view across the basin. The downstairs games room and bar was a fab place for the end of the night where guests could chill out with old school arcade games or dance the night away. A great time was had by all! Highly Recomended.
A.Went here for work christmas lunch. The place were quite nice; despite our one's was like a basement and closely resembles a bar rather than eatery. Food were not too bad, and car park can be challenging at times. Staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

L.This is a fabulous venue! The TearFund dinner here was so beautifully presented and the decorating of both the room and tables were outstanding. Highly recommended!
P.If you are looking for a wedding venue, then don't go past Orakei Bay. Indoor or outdoor options are available. The staff are super supportive, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The food is excellent as well. We catered for ~130 guests at my daughter's wedding and everything flowed superbly. Highly recommended.

A.We had the best time at Frame at Orakei Bay! Great place for a venue, awesome entertainment with the pool tables, gaming, air hockey table, amazing outdoor views, great food and the staff were really accommodating and helpful! We would go there again, and we look forward to going back. 5 stars!!!
M.We had three of our educational seminars for optometrists at Orakei Bay this year and we found them absolutely marvellous to work with. The feedback from our attendees was overwhelmingly positive so we see no need to change venue for next year. Great food and wine and a very seamless experience overall.
J.My sister had her wedding here 8/8/15. To find a venue that could cater all our needs in the Auckland area was proving difficult. Until we found Orakei Bay. It was such a blessing to find Orakei Bay.
VENUE
On viewing the venue we were overjoyed that the venue provided great space for everything we wanted to do i.e. the ring ceremony, canapes with entertainment and the reception. My family and I are hygiene freaks so it was also important that the toilets was beautifully clean and modern too (its all in the details people)
STAFF
Sean was great to deal with and answered all our queries and concerns. We confirmed final details with Nicolle who ensured everything went smoothly on the day.
FOOD
Our main concern was that the food portions would not be large enough for our Pacific Island family. Sean organised a tasting for us and we found the canapes, mains and desserts was more than enough and of great quality.
DECORATIONS
We did our own decorations and Nicolle and her team accommodated us during this stressful process. But the end result worked for us.
ON THE DAY
The day was amazing! The service was on point. The food was spectacular! The venue fitted our 180 guests perfectly
AFTER THE DAY
The staff packed down our decorations and all we needed to do was collect (no extra charge). This was a huge help, because the last thing we wanted to do on the day was stay back and clean.
RECOMMENDATION
I would say don't look any further for a venue that meets your needs, costs, space, elegance and food. Orakei Bay has it all!
J.We recently hosted a very successful event at Orakei Bay. and are hugely grateful to NIcolle, Sean and the staff for helping to put together and execute a fantastic day. Our clients really enjoyed themselves, everything ran smoothly, the room, layout and AV were perfect, the refreshments and service more than met the mark! An excellent outcome, and we most certainly chose the right place to host our event this year.
F.We had our Christmas party here, great venue for 100 people. Food was good and there was ample space and games downstairs at the Frame Bar.
M.World Organic held its 2014 National Conference at Orakei Bay in July. We absolutely loved the venue and enjoyed great service, quality food and a warm and uplifting atmosphere in general. Highly recommended!
