A.Had my daughters 21st birthday here couple of years ago recommended by a friend. Loved the menu & we were allowed to have our own band. Would definitely hold a function here again its private and has good parking it's a lovely facility.

V.We got married on Friday 29th January 2021. Neil and Shirley were so amazing from the start to finish. They made our plans so seamless and they definitely take the stress off you. What we paid was value for money, the team went beyond what we could have imagined. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue, Neil is great. professional, clear in his communication and just so easy to work with. The set up was beautiful! The food was so tasty, from the canapes to the main meals and dessert.

S.We had our wedding reception here a few weeks ago and i cant thank Shirley and Neil enough for making our day so much easy. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience.As a wedding venue we couldn't fault anything. The guests absolutely loved the food. K.My daughters wedding has been and gone reception was at Sorrento. Can’t express how above and beyond they went. Perfect relaxing scenery and atmosphere. Everything taken care of including decorations and staff were friendly and went out of their way due to unforeseen circumstances to ensure everything went smoothly. Beautiful food had a bar tab down and so honestly refunded half as wasn’t used. Can’t fault them well booked up in advance for very obvious reasons. Thank you Sorrento for making my daughter and son in-laws day so lovingly memorable.
T.We had a wonderful wedding at Sorrento on the 11/03/2016. The staff were calm, helpful and professional throughout the whole event. We were kept informed of decisions leading up to the day and everything went incredibly smoothly during the day. The food was delicious! And we were still getting compliments several days later. This is the perfect venue if you want a worry-free experience! The location is superb and gorgeous for photos! We are so glad that we had our wedding here :)

S.We would like to commend Sorrento for the beautiful wedding day we got to experience at their venue, from the preparations to the day of , our wedding experience was the best that we could possibly ask for and we are so glad that we chose Sorrento. Everything from the ceremony lawn to reception hall was arranged beautifully , we and all our guests were happy and comfortable. It was a bonus that there is an indoor option at venue in case of rain and the surrounding park is perfect for wedding photos the location is very convenient. And also very affordable.

T.Went for a viewing of the venue for a future function. Wow. Love it. Friendly owner/operators. Lovely place for a private function. It has a classic feel. We are planning a Roaring 20s event and feel this place would suit the theme.
If I get married one day this place would be at the top of my list for venues. It is set in Cornwall Park and is very private. Great spot for photos. They have room options so can entertain a small or large crowd. Lots of parking.

X.We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and I am so glad I have made the right choice. Right from the planning stage to the actual day we experienced excellent customer service from Neil & Shirley and their team.
The guests were well fed from the canapés and the dinner buffet. Some of my favourite dishes were the grilled salmon and the cous cous salad.
Sorrento in the Park is great for photos as you get a mixture of the harbour view and the greenery.
I would definitely recommend Sorrento in the Park to friends and family.

E.My husband and I were looking for a centrally located venue for our wedding, and we stumbled across Sorrento in the Park. We called on a Saturday morning, expecting to get an answer machine and instead we got Neil. He said we could come straight around to view. The first moment we stepped through the doors, we knew this was the place. Neil gave us all the information we needed and more and his expertise in hosting weddings was very clear - walking us through exactly how the day would run. Everything was so easy and all our questions over the months were answered quickly. Shirley was an absolute delight on the day, making sure everything was perfect for us and regularly checking in with me and my new husband. The venue was beautiful and perfect, the food was absolutely delicious and the hosts are more than you could hope for. We 100% recommend Sorrento as the place in Auckland to get married.
A.Amazing buffet with a lovely selection of salads and mains. Great atmosphere for a 21st (or other such function) with a gorgeous dance floor set up. I loved when the curtain divider was rolled away to reveal the fairy lights! We had a fabulous time!

We had the pleasure of getting married here 23/01/16 we fell in love with this venue as it ticked all of our boxes, a beautiful garden for our ceremony, back up rain option, delicious food and a big dance floor. We have had so many compliments on how great the venue and day was and how great all the staff were at being there when they were needed but also noninvasive. S.Such a stunning location and venue for our wedding and reception which was on 15 October 2017.
Right from the very first time we got in touch with Niel, we were amazed by the operation they were running. We knew we made the right choice then. We were engaged throughout our planning. They worked well with our MC and DJ.
Shirley was an absolute delight and was super attentive during the event. Our guests loved the beautiful surroundings and the delicious food as all tastes were catered for.
Will definitely consider this place for future events. Top of our list

M.I had my wedding at Sorrento in the Park on Sunday, 18th September 2016. The team at Sorrento in the Park are fantastic! Neil and Shirley are a pleasure to work with and it was always easy to communicate with them, whether it would be via email or phone. They were so accommodating with all our requests and ideas, and suggested a different option if one of our ideas wouldn't work. Sorrento's wedding package meant I didn't need to worry about flowers for tables or chair covers and all those little things that can add to the wedding budget and stress. The venue looks amazing regardless if the venue was set up for 200 hundred guests or 100. Because of the indoor ceremony option, I never stressed if it rained on our day (which it did) because the indoor option works just as well as the garden outdoor option. And the food was AMAZING!!! I cannot express how much the food was so good. The guests couldn't rave how amazing the food was.
On the day ,Shirley really put my mind at ease and I could enjoy my wedding day without worrying about little details and even helped with packing all our presents, cakes and items.
Both my partner and I truly had a special day and we thank the team at Sorrento in the park for this.

W.To say our wedding day was perfect is an understatement and a lot of the credit for that goes to the staff at Sorrento in the Park. From the start, Neil, Jane and Shirley were awesome to work with and were very accommodating of our needs even up to the very last minute. We never felt that they were out to make money off us, but were instead always suggesting the best options to fit us and our guests. Everyone raved about the food - canapes, mains and dessert, and had an awesome time. The plan was to get married in the garden but the weather had other ideas. Neil and the team were calm throughout the whole process always reassuring us that things would work out, and they did. We had a nice ceremony in the Pohutakawa room which felt like it was planned from the outset! Everything from the venue, food and the service provided to us throughout the whole process was A+. A.We had our wedding here just last weekend 24.2.2018. I don't even know where to start from.
For those who are concerned about whether the food will be good or not... let me tell you ... close your eyes and trust Neil blindly. He and his team have done a superbly amazing job in the kitchen! Soooo many people commented on how nice the food was! So it is not just us the bridal party believing the food was nice but many of our guests has commented on it.
For those who are concerned about seatings and decorations... DONT BE!!!! Shirley and her team do an outrageously fantastic job on the floor. From decoration to seatings everything was perfect.
Shirley and Neil are a superpower couple, they have exploited what they are both good at and created an amazing venue that is stress-free and gorgeous for weddings at an affordable price. Their front house works amazingly well as well. If I could give them 6 of 5 I would. They exceeded our expectations and even consoled us when we were getting a bit stressed. They carry an amazing amount of experience down their sleeves and know what to do and how to do it. 100% recommended.

Neil and Shirley are simply amazing at what they do and made us feel at home.
The planning process was so simple and easy with a few meetings and emails we weren't worried at all. We trusted Sorrento with our wedding and we were dissapointed at all. We had a beautiful day during Labour weekend to have our wedding the weather was blessed and the gardens were perfect for the outdoor legal ceremony that we wanted. Later on the Reception area looked superb the tables were set up beautifully with flowers and candles. The staff are so amazing very professional and caring and the FOOD was Delicious. During my Pre-wedding shoot my white dress was dirty and here comes wonder woman Shirley with her napkin and soda water to clean my dress, highly appreciated it!! Our wedding guests raved on and on about it not just the food but the venue as well. We'd Like to thank Sorrento in the Park for Giving us such a stunning wedding that we will always cherish. And we will always recommend this venue and its catering hands down to anyone :)

C.The most perfect venue for a wedding! The ceremony area is lovely during a summers afternoon and the reception area is massive and catered to our 200 guest. The food was definately one of the best! Just as I had remembered and was a big point on why we booked this venue. Our wedding day couldnt have been any more perfect and our guest are still raving about it!

k.I went to a wedding here a couple of weeks ago it was fantastic it was quite beautiful .I really liked the waiter and waitresses they were awesome I was very impressed by 1 of the waiters and 1 of the waitresses but unfortunately I didn't get their names .you two were great
E.Nice venue. I was attending a two day seminar. Great food. The only thing I would say is the air conditioning was too cold. I wanted to wrap a blanket around my legs.
D.Situated inside one the largest and historic park/farms within Cornwall Park. The country sitting and ambiance fabricate from my perspective a sense of a Scottish Highland Manor. A miss the brick Castle and maybe a moat! Very nostalgic - recommended to all. Particularly suited to conferences or an annual gathering for your small organisation.

R.Great place for weddings,club prize giving,conferences,ect.Good food and hospitality and great location in One Tree Hill with ample parking.Have been here on several occasions for different functions and really enjoyed every one of them.And staff are only to happy to please your needs.This place has been around for some time now I used to work here on the weekends cleaning up after functions 45 years ago .The food was so good back then and it still is today.I think they have 4 separate function rooms so have ample room to cater for all your needs

WOW sooooo delicious NO ONE was disappointed, in fact, they are still buzzing out about it .. I didnt stress trying to organise any decorations as EVERYTHING was all included .. The venue itself was just PERFECT .. So happy the weather pulled through which we were able to have our Ceremony in the beautiful garden .. Both Neil & Shirley were with me before I walked down the steps towards the aisle and reassured me that I would be fine .. From Start to Finish, Shirley you were my angel ..
