J.An amazing venue. Beautifully presented and outstanding range of spaces. We attended a wedding here and people could spread out and find a space that suited them, which resulted in a classy, but yet relaxed, celebration that everyone loved. Totally recommend!
R.We booked our wedding date with the old owner of Tarureka Estate and were a little anxious when it changed hands but as soon as we met Beth and Reid all of those anxieties melted away. Beth and Reid are so friendly and welcoming they were happy to help in anyway with our wedding day. Tarureka Estate is a absolutely beautiful venue and Beth and Reid have added so much value in the things they have changed and done up. Having a venue that we could have a day before and day after event at as well was an absolute dream and our guests gushed over the venue.
Our wedding day had such a lovely relaxed but still formal feeling because of the space that Tarureka Estate has, being able to move around the venue for different parts of the day and also having so many beautiful spots for photos. There is so much on hand for you to use from games to table decorations that it makes it so much easier to have your wedding there. The homestead was an absolute dream and had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend Tarureka Estate.

We had a lot of vendors but they communicated with them all with no problem which helped us immensely. It’s the perfect venue for having everything to do with your wedding at the one spot, meaning no stress! Our guests raved about the venue. J.We just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU! We absolutely loved having our wedding at Tarureka, Beth and Reid both just made everything so easy. The place is just so well set up with the barn/loft and then the homestead too. We ended up having our ceremony up in the loft of the barn, and it so magical! We were then able to explore the gardens for our photos, meanwhile the whole inside of the loft was flipped for the reception and we did not have to lift a finger! The homestead was just perfect to be able to host the family and bridal party. We just loved that we could have everything there in the one place!
Everything was just beautiful and actually a dream come true for us. You are both incredible hosts! Thank you!
A.We recently got married at Tarureka and cannot speak highly enough of both the place and the wonderful owners Beth and Reid. Having our wedding, reception and weekend at the same stunning location enabled us to relax and enjoy our special day. The barn/loft was absolutely beautiful for our reception and the garden was lovely to get married in. The homestead enabled all our family to share in the weekend and we enjoyed a BBQ lunch on the lawn with all the games the following day. Beth was absolutely wonderful to work with. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she enabled us to just enjoy our day knowing that things were taken care of. Great communication and a lovely person. We feel like we made a new friend! Tarureka will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Thank you so very much for everything, Beth and Reid.
E.The owner (Beth) is super friendly and welcoming. She helps the bride and groom with their magical day and makes sure it runs smoothly. The grounds at the estate are just gorgeous and the reception loft is beautiful. I would definitely get married here!! Accommodation on site as well
A.Just utterly incredible. Beth and Reid were the perfect hosts and made our special day better than we could have imagined. The venue is beautiful, so beautiful that not much further decoration is required as it's naturally so great. Having a venue with as beautiful an indoor and outdoor option was something we were looking for and this was the best option in the Wellington region for this.
We wouldn't change anything about the day and the outdoor options (grass tennis court, lawn games, cricket) made all the guests entertained throughout the day.
A huge thank you to Beth and Reid and I could not recommend this venue any stronger as it was absolute perfection.
