Windy Ridge Function Centre in Ohaupo is the best and most amazing place that I could have imagined.
Danielle and the team are fantastic. Danielle is a complete lifesaver with all the suggestions, things to remember and questions at any time are always answered. Couldn't not have had the day that we had without her in it.
Was the most perfect day that I have could imagined 💕🥰🎊💍
H.I had my wedding ceremony at Windy Ridge in February 2022. I really appreciated the extra mile the Danielle and the team went when helping coordinate everything. She put in so much work and the day ended up going perfectly. Thank you so much! We really appreciated everything.
R.First time dining here on Friday 25th June 2021. A beautiful experience. From walking in along the gorgeous little Flower garden and past the pretty Fairy lights out front (perfect backdrop for a before dinner photo.) I felt a really nice ambience to the place. The food was Absolutely Scrumptious and so Tastily and Craftily put together. I opted for the Mushroom Arancini & the Salted Crispy Tofu. The TOFU flavour explosion was to die for! Absolutely PERFECTLY cooked and a very light crisp fry on the outside. Compliments to the chef, wow! Well done! For desert even better or at least breaking even, I chose the Sticky rice pudding mouss mango sorbet and it was seriously AMAZING! The flavours that come together are well crafted. I would love to come back again and I 100% recommend everyone tries this restaurant at least once!! You will want to come back and try more next time! Thank you for a wonderful evening 💖✨🍴🥤
R.Where do I even start? I first booked my wedding here in the Secret Garden in 2019 which was about 2 years before my wedding. Tracey was amazing and showed us around the venue, and answered every single question that we had! From then on, the process was super simple. Danielle is honestly a wedding planning genius and I don't know what I would have done without her! Throughout the process, there was clear and concise communication especially in regards to changes brought about by covid. The actual day went off without a hitch. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how it was set up perfectly for weddings! Highly, highly, highly recommend this venue for weddings. It and the staff were perfection!
C.We had our wedding reception at Windy Ridge in January 2022 and could not thank Danielle and her team enough! We looked around a few different vendors and found Windy Ridge to be the most accommodating, even serving our canapés and drinks at our offsite ceremony site. Nothing was too hard and the communication was fantastic. Food was amazing, we appreciated that they were flexible with changing out some food choices and accommodated for dietary requirements. K.The food is nice, however the service can be better. Bit of noisy for a wedding at it's by the main road. The staff was professional and super helpful. Great venue for medium or small events.
E.My husband and I got married at the Windy Ridge in January 2021. We couldn't have had a better day thanks to the team at Windy Ridge. All the staff were friendly and amazing hosts. Danielle went above and beyond to make our day perf. The grounds at the Windy Ridge are beautiful and the food we had was delicious. I highly recommend this venue and would love to do it all over again here!

I was allowed to set up my own rustic winter theme wedding at their beautiful venue, which makes everything more perfect. Thank you for being so kind and helping us create our little dream day. We recommend Windy Ridge to those who want a private intimate wedding just out of Hamilton and with super friendly staff that will make your wedding day just how you expect it to be, or better! (Look at how beautiful our cake was that they help create for us to suit our theme!)

C.Wow. Had the pleasure of dinning last night with a group of friends. Great company, great service but even more so awesome 8 course Tapas menu. I couldn't have enjoyed it more. My compliments to the chef and staff.
s.Dined here last week end with a group of friends for the 'trust the chef' experience and it was AMAZING. The food was delicious, enough options that it did fill you up. The best part was not having to think to order and getting to taste things you may not have ordered. Will 100% be back. Thank you so much to the staff and chef!
c.I had the bottomless brunch at windy ridge with 5 girlfriends. All the cocktails were beutiful and the food was perfect. The waitress Brooke was such a sweetheart and made us all feel so welcome. Thankyou so much to the team for having us we couldn't fault it.
P.Beautiful venue, went with a group of friends for tapas (trust the chef) and was seriously 5 star. My favourite was the prawns and usually I don't like prawns.

D.Ok but service a bit slack the day we came for lunch. A couple of things not available on menu. Husband had a chicken burger and was advised when ordering that they had run out of Brioche buns for burger so would be on sour dough bread - well that was ok except it ended up being like a sandwich not a burger - not toasted at all. He said it tasted fine but appearance wise didn't look good.
No Beef Cheeks available. We had booked well in advance so should have had enough of everything. When we first arrived we stood at front counter for at least 4 - 5 minutes and not a staff member in sight to greet us. After waiting (6 guests) we walked across to the Bar before anyone appeared. After our main meal we waited a very long time before we were offered desert menu or coffees.
We wanted to support this business but can't see any of us bothering again sadly
T.We had our work end of year Christmas function at one of the events organised. We picked the comedians night. There were 24 of us, food was great (buffet with plenty of food and second helpings were available) staff all very friendly and professional and great to have a dj afterwards. This was a very easy way to organise a large event with little effort on our part. Thanks to Tracey and your team from Nest Home Loans
M.So, got home from work and no-one wanted to cook dinner! Popped down to Windy Ridge to try the tapas menu. Great Sunday night dinner, superb service, yum food. Will have to return with friends!

T.Windy Ridge catered a business meeting for me at my venue. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and more than enough. It was delivered, free of charge to me in Hamilton, hot and on time. Windy Ridge have become our preferred caterer.
