V.Tidy reasonably priced venue, with few different spaces on offer. I have attended weddings, training courses, and other events, here and have always found it tidy and well presented.

A big thanks to our chefs that catered to our big group (there is 64 of us, including adults, parents, babies, children, teens. We were well feed. And well looked after. If yous travelling and looking for affordable and a place that can accommodate huge crowds. Check this place out. You won't regret it.
T.Good place for meetings and conferences, they catered for those with dietary requirements with really nice food. The dining hall was bitterly cold though. The shared accommodation we used was comfortable beds and reasonably quiet. A couple more bathrooms would be good, as everyone getting to meetings on time in the morning was a bit tight.
J.I really liked this space where we recently had a 3 day conference. the rooms were clean and comfortable and the conference rooms were excellent. Food was plentiful and delicious. would highly recommend for a peaceful setting for a work conference or social event. Could easily imagine how lovely it would be for a wedding
H.This was the location of our corporate Christmas/end of year lunch for 2018. Well catered, food was good quality and plentiful. Not too pretentious. Lots of options for those with dietary restrictions. The venue had lots of space (held about 100 of us). Tables were set up well, apart from the odd missing fork (that and the location were the only real reasons they didn't get five stars). The staff were pleasant and professional. Good venue for corporate celebrations. No idea on the costs (I wasn't the one paying 😀). The location was a bit out of the way, far to close to Stokes Valley and the landfill for my liking. All in all it was good.
A.This is the most fantastic place. I can not recommend it highly enough. We've had 4 nights here for our school camp with 34 kids. As a parent helper, expectations were not high! I was blown away. Everything was amazing. The accommodation in Rimu Court was comfortable, with plenty of modern shower rooms. The food was utterly brilliant with plenty of tasty, nutrious meals. The chef also catered beautifully for 4 special dietary requirements. The packed lunches were also brilliant. My only comment (not a complaint!) is that there was too much food and therefore a bit of waste. The grounds were great for games and activities. It was really easy to get I to Wellington each day for activities. Thank you.

J.This is a stunning venue! Great helpful service and friendly team of staff who go above and beyond and made for an enjoyable stay focused r our event. They also have some adorable cats roaming which was an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

L.Great place, huge. None of the photos show any of the rooms i saw, the rooms or groups used looked more like a school camp, tickets wooden bumps, 7 beds to a room (rimu). Some of the communal rooms seemed nice though. Food was fantastic and staff friendly

My husband is disabled and the retreat catered to his health and my needs, great room. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts that were delivered each morning. Excellent Xtra fresh clean towels. Thank you so much.

K.I stayed at the Silver stream retreat recently with a group for a work Hui, it was brilliant lovely quiet spot even though it was near a busy road, felt like we were in the bush very restful. The room tastefully decorated with everything we needed. Catering absolutely fantastic we had two days catering with an amazing variety of dishes . Staff service excellent they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, went the extra mile to ensure our needs were meet always with a smile, would highly recommend for large group gatherings and also individual accommodation.
J.Stayed twice for work while in Wellington. The units were immaculate and extremely well kept, breakfast was delicious.
The area was quiet and has impressive views.
Arrived one night after hours to realise my work mate had my unit key, staff were surprisingly quick to show up at my unit and let me in.
Couldn't recommend them enough.

G.We hosted a ball for 113 people in June 2018 in the Boardwalk Complex. This was a fantastic venue with great spaces for eating and dancing. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, and the buffet was delicious. Thank you Amanda for coordinating everything so our event went off without a hitch.
C.This place gets better every time I visit. Its secluded and quiet and my room was lovely (especially nice bathroom). The TV and heat pump weren't working and the night staff took great care to get it going for me. Good service.

K.Could do with a good clean. First room I was given door didn't lock; 2nd room smelt like vomit and both rooms were dusty. Bathrooms were ok but disconcerting when the light goes out when you're in the shower; also needed to make sure clothes were out of the way of shower spray. Staff were friendly and helpful. Drink prices were uptown; very surprised a glass of wine was more than a double shot of Jack Daniels.
M.We won the 'Wedding in a week' competition on The Breeze radio station and had our wedding reception at Silverstream Retreat. The venue was incredible, the staff amazing, the food delicious, and the accommodation top class.
The options available catered for sunshine or rain and the mix of rustic themes gave our photographer many backdrops for some ready cool photos. Mandy, George, and the staff were personal and professional, making us relaxed that things that needed doing were been done, without fuss. The three course meal exceeded our expectations and our guests found the food light, fresh, and tasty. Staying over after the function gave us some quite time to unwind in a top class self contained room with 1940's exposed wooden beams, and an amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast delivered and a late check out completed an unreal week. Thank you.
B.Went to a friend's wedding. The venue is a great space that can be customised easily. The food was of a really nice standard. The pork belly was immense... A great night and a nice venue.
J.This is a great venue for training, retreats with budgets to suit basic to upmarket. They have accommodation, catering, wedding venues in a lovely semi rural style setting.

A.The location of silverstream retreat is perfect right in between upper hutt which is where I am usually based and lower hutt city Centre. It is also easy to find, pretty much straight off the motorway. The rooms are amazing,currently staying in 5 bedroom home and it's great. The only slight let down is the cleaning service. Alot of the cleaners are very friendly and thoughtful when coming into the house, however I have had a few situations where the team leader has been rather rude and I have felt unwelcome in my own space. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about Silverstream Retreat. George, the owner of the Retreat also is always very friendly,welcoming and accomodating. I would definitely recommend the Retreat to anyone.

S.It's got everything that u need but needed a balcony room to chill out on but could easily be arranged ,The beds are so comfortable and the water pressure makes for an execeĺlent shower. Ticks most of my boxes !!!

N.Stayed in the Stonewell suite while attending a wedding held there - small bedroom w bed and desk w stool - nice bathroom w great shower. Recently renovated in modern decor - very comfortable bed. The room has a toaster, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge w 2 wine and juice glasses plus ironing facilities. Along from the rooms is a large lounge and a kitchen where you can gather w friends. Highly recommend if attending a function there or travelling w a group who want individual bedrooms but want to gather together other times. The Stonewell lodge is up a small driveway from the other accommodation about 3 mins walk from reception overlooking the complex and the river.

Venue itself quite weird and lots of the buildinga were very run down, though it looks like they are slowly renovating it.
Got 500mb Internet included with the room... Which was so slow it wasn't worth the effort of being connected

D.I've photographed many weddings in both venues of Silverstream Lodge last year and was impressed with the relaxed but efficient flow of service by the catering staff, the facilities of the centre itself, and the different options from relaxed and informal through to formal sit down dinner that the retreat offers.
