We got in touch with Steve regarding help with a PA system for our son's wedding. Steve was great to deal with - professional and thorough. He provides good quality, reliable gear. He was prompt with communications and flexible. Excellent service overall!

I don't live in Nelson but held my 50th birthday celebration in Golden Bay and contacted Steve and Sweet Sounds for sound equipment and lighting. Steve was great to deal with and handled all my questions promptly. The equipment was a great part of the success of my party and I found Steve really easy to deal with a pleasure to meet. We hired a PA system and two microphones from Steve for our wedding in Nelson and were so happy with everything! Steve was really flexible with pickup and made the process so easy for us, which we were really thankful for. He was thorough in showing us through the details of how to use everything in the most effective way - which does make a difference when you're switching from using the mic for speeches to using the speakers for music. We used the speakers and mics for the ceremony and the kit worked perfectly! Crisp, clear and punchy sound over a significant distance on a windy day. Steve was all round great - thanks Steve! Sweet Sounds are highly recommended.

Steve at Sweet Sounds was very helpful right from the get go when I contacted him about a sound system for our wedding. He listened to what we needed and heard our fears about difficult sound in an outdoor ceremony (that can sometimes be windy), and provided the goods! The two sets of speakers were of excellent quality and everyone could hear the ceremony and speeches and the dance floor absolutely cranked as a result! We would highly recommend Sweet Sounds if you need speakers for an event.

We asked Sweet Sounds man Steve to do the Sound for our candidates' meeting. Not only was he punctual, efficient, and did exactly what we asked, he was proactive in making sure participants used the equipment to get the best result. Highly recommended!

Steve supplied sound system for our daughters wedding reception, Steve came along and set up saturday morning then came and packed up at around midnight. System was awesome very reliable without any issues. Steve service was great and he was very helpful. Thanks very much Steve. Highly recommend to all.

Steve provided a sound system and various lights for our wedding in Tata Beach. We live in Sydney, but were getting married at Tata Beach so communication was important so we were on the same page. We found Steve to be ever so helpful from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable of all products and what is necessary for a wedding of our size. He is a lovely, friendly guy who is always willing to go over and above to make sure our wedding was all we wanted it to be.

Absolutely recommend this business to everyone and anyone who are wanting sound systems and lighting installed. Steve and Jonty spent the day at 'He Rau Mahara' - The Te Āwhina Marae Book Launch in Motueka which consisted of two separate events in one day. It was a long day, but Steve was very flexible with the many changes, and requests, Steve also took charge of things when I was tied up with other areas. Ngā mihi nui ki a koe e hoa.
