We were planning a Taranaki wedding from our home in Wellington, and soon realised we needed local help to do it from a distance. Lizzy quickly understood, embraced, and ran with our vision for the day and worked hard to make it happen. On the day itself everything went perfectly including the weather - I don't think Lizzy organised that but you never know! We really appreciated the time and effort Lizzy put in, her enthusiasm, the way she worked with us on everything, the update video chats and emails, the financial organisation and budgeting. And most of all the hours put in to set up the venue and manage everything on the wedding day. It took all of the pressure off us and we were free to enjoy the event, and to socialise with our whanau. Lizzy found and managed suppliers, staff, musicians, a bouncy castle and even fire dancers! (Be careful what you say in a semi-joking way to a good planner, they will make it happen!) Elizabeth Jean Weddings are absolutely recommended, and great value.

Where to start with the lovely Lizzy? We originally thought we would get someone to take over the reins in the lead up to the wedding and then coordinate the day to take the stress off. However, once we really turned our minds to the reality of planning a wedding from London we decided to go for Lizzy’s full planning service and BOY did we not regret it. We worked with Lizzy for the best part of 18 months and it was the best experience - she took the time to understand our preferences and priorities and turned our sketchy ideas into actual plans. She made the big decisions easy and took care of all the detail including liaising with all of our wonderful suppliers. We would 100% recommend Elizabeth Jean Weddings - thanks to Lizzy and the team!

Lizzie is a beautiful human being. Friendly, warm, bubbly and approachable from the get go. Lizzie is truly passionate about the wedding industry and has so much knowledge to offer. I met Lizzie whilst starting out my career in the events world and was lucky enough to work alongside her and gain some hands on experience. She is an expert in the industry and mentored me and my partner as we were preparing to start our own business venture. Always open and giving of her time, her advice was always so useful. From the beginning of our planning process, Lizzy was incredible! She made us feel heard, gave us great suggestions and was always just an email or call away when we had any last minute questions or I just wanted feedback on an idea (and there were many ideas). On the day of our wedding, she did a phenomenal of job making my dreams come true - our set-up looked absolutely beautiful and captured the exact theme and feel that we were going for. I truly could not have made it through the day, or leading up to, without her!
