The most stunningly perfect wedding venue you could ever dream of! Beautiful gardens which made for amazing photo backdrops. Simple, stylish, modern dining room and dance floor. The most lovely owners, Tim and Teresa, who made everything a breeze! Accommodation is so nice and great having everything all in one place. Made for such a relaxed stress-free weekend. We felt so lucky to get married at Anam Cara. I wish I could get married again (to the same husband of course 😉)!!

Absolutely beautiful venue. Surrounded by bush and plenty of greenery with plenty of space for activities. There is also a large house with plenty of entertaining space inside and out, as well as multiple bedrooms for the entire family. Out the back, there is also a fully furnished guest house with an updated bathroom and shower and kitchen as well as a pool table, bar, and large TV with sky. The reception hall is spacious with a decent sized dance floor as well as a separate kids room out the back. Amazing venure for that special event, I would highly recommend

My wife and I chose Anam Cara Gardens as the venue for our wedding in December 2021. We honestly can’t rate the venue highly enough! Tim and Teresa were incredible! They were awesome in terms of sorting out the little details for our special day, making sure we had everything organized and just keeping us calm and relaxed during the whole process. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Tim really went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly over our wedding weekend and was just an absolute legend (he even managed to deliver some champagne for us on a golf cart while we were out doing photos!). The venue itself is spectacular too. The gardens looked amazing on the day, everything was tidy and organized as expected and the house was perfect for all our close family and bridal party to stay in. The groom’s quarters were also great for the lads to chill out and get ready. Overall, we would 110% recommend Anam Cara Gardens as a wedding venue. Tim and Teresa are a dream team and will go the extra mile to make sure you have the best day.

This wedding venue is so so beautiful, first time we saw this place we instantly knew that we wanted to have our wedding here. It has everything you need for your special day - accommodation, reception area, ceremony and loads of places where you can take amazing photos. Highly recommend Anam Cara! it will exceed your expectations :)

Not many people can say they have worked at, been a guest at and gotten married at Anam Cara... But I'm lucky enough to say I have. I fell in love with this location when I worked here through a catering company and was lucky enough to be able to have my own wedding here. Tim and Teresa were absolutely amazing and made my husband and I so at ease with the process of organising our wedding. We felt so welcome and comfortable at the Gardens and couldn't be happier to have had our own wedding here. It's so gorgeous here and all of our guests loved it. Being a guest here, just a couple of weeks after our own wedding, we got to re experience the beauty and the magic of the gardens. Thank you Tim and Teresa. You really have made such a beautiful location and made our wedding visions come true.

We have just had our wedding at Anam Cara Gardens. It is such a beautiful venue and so many great ceremony options. A lot of great photo backdrops as well. The team were so helpful through the wedding planning process and made the weekend and day itself relaxing and run so perfectly. Thank you so much for everything!

From start to finish the team at Anam Cara were nothing but amazing. From our first visit we were made to feel at home and welcome and fell in love with the venue knowing pretty soon after our first visit that this would be where we would have our special day! The venue has everything and more and exceeded all our expectations! We loved that the accommodation was onsite and big enough to house our bridal party and family. ACG is a lovely venue. The gardens are immaculate and the team are very helpful, right from the first email and viewing, through to our special day and beyond as well! Our guests loved their time here and were very complimentary. We loved the flexibility and the freedom to enjoy our celebrations and time with guests over an entire weekend. This venue will always have a special place in our hearts!!

We had the most incredible day thanks to Tim & Teresa, we can’t rate them and the beautiful Anam Cara Gardens highly enough! After being left in the lurch by another venue eight weeks out from our wedding, Teresa reached out to us and was so awesome helping us to come up with a new plan over the busy Christmas/NY period. Our day was perfect and worked out even better than we had dreamed! Tim was so great to have around on the day, he felt more like a friend than the owner of the venue and he thought of things we never would have considered to ensure that our day ran smoothly. Both Tim and Teresa made us feel truly special, and as though we were the only ones to get married there! We’re so lucky to have got married somewhere as amazing as Anam Cara, and are so in love with our photos and video reminding us of our epic day there! Thanks so much again for making it happen Teresa and Tim! You guys are absolute legends xx

We were so delighted with how smoothly the planning of, and our wedding day went at Anam Cara Gardens. Tim and Teresa offer sensible, clear information and advice which helped with decision-making. They convey their vision about where to hold your wedding service in the stunning gardens which are so beautifully maintained, and helped us whittle down the number of fabulous choices on offer. On the day it would also have been possible to change plans - they are flexible and considerate, unflappable and very pleasant, easy to work with. No stress for either side is the common goal. The function room was perfect fr our 80 guests, immaculate and well lit. The kitchen is spacious and very well set up so the caterers worked extremely well, having had plenty of experience working there. On the day, Tim was a great communicator with us, our MC, our music and film support, florist and photographer. Nothing is too much trouble. We booked the 2 nights accommodation package which was another delight. We highly recommend Anam Cara Gardens for a special occasion.

We had our wedding at Anam Cara Gardens last month and I can't recommend this place highly enough. Tim and Teresa were amazing to deal with through all the delays we had due to lockdown. Tim, thanks again for all your help on the day - You really helped pull it all together. Anam Cara was probably the best venue we came across in our search and they really delivered on the day. They have an absolutely stunning venue and it's run by two genuinely good people who just want you to have the best day possible. Thanks again.

The most perfect venue we’ve ever seen, the gardens are magical and the accommodation is to die for! Wish we could stay every weekend! The hosts Tim and Teresa and Carlene are wonderful and made our day extra special, will never stop recommending them :)

We highly recommend Anam Cara Gardens as the perfect venue to host your special occasion! The best decision we made was to host our wedding at Anam Cara, our day couldn’t have been more perfect, Tim and Teresa are amazing hosts who go the extra mile to make sure your occasion is perfect in every way, we highly recommend the weekend package as we were able to relax and enjoy the luxurious accommodation and surrounding with our family and friends over the whole weekend! 10 out of 10 😍💒🥂

We recently held our wedding and reception at Anam Cara Gardens and had the best experience. The venue is beautiful with so many options for ceremony location, photos etc. Tim and Teresa were so fantastic to deal with, especially with all the drama around Covid - we had to postpone earlier in the year and they were super accommodating and supportive during that time. Teresa was very responsive to emails, answering all our questions and Tim was just a gem on the day and leading up to it - nothing was too much trouble. We got so many comments from our guests about how great the venue was. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get married in the Kapiti area, in my opinion ACG is head and shoulders above every other venue in the area.

We had our wedding at Anam Cara at the start of April and we can’t speak highly enough of the whole experience. Having had our original plans for a big wedding in Ireland cancelled we had a small group at Anam Cara instead. We all stayed for three days and everything was fabulous from start to finish. Teresa was so helpful and easy to deal with during the planning and Tim was there throughout our few days, nothing was too much trouble and he made all of us (including our two little nephews) feel totally at home and relaxed. The accommodation is fabulous and has everything you could possibly want. Everything that is provided is quality, from the toiletries to tea/coffee etc. and the little extra touches were much appreciated.

Amazing venue , so much space and options , perfect wedding venue . The grounds themselves are amazing and Teresa and Tim were amazing to deal with and extremely down to earth , made us feel so comfortable and relaxed . Can't wait to share more photos when we get them :)

We had our wedding at Anam Cara Gardens in April and wow - what can we say to sum up how much we enjoyed working with Tim and Teresa! They are both extremely organised, professional and thoughtful. Our day went off without a hitch and at our planning days all our questions were answered and they provided a wealth of knowledge from their experiences. The gardens themselves are beautiful and maintained to an extremely high standard. There are so many different ‘scenes’ within the gardens for endless photos and the large lawn area was perfect for our cocktail hour. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Our day was fantastic, as was the communication leading up to the day and our stay over both nights. Teresa's emailing, communication and admin kept me at ease and helped me through planning the big day. Tim's help the day before and day of was amazing and made it stress free and relaxing! I cannot recommend you guys, and ACG enough. All of our guests fell for the venue, commenting on how beautiful it is. They are absolutely right! The perfect wedding venue.

Anam Cara Gardens was the perfect wedding venue for us. Everything we needed was on site. The gardens were beautiful and made for some amazing photos. The accomodation was so nice and modern. Tim and Teresa were super helpful, friendly and catered for all of our wedding day needs. 5 stars from us. 😊

We had the most amazing time at Anam Cara Gardens. Tim and Teresa made us feel like we were the only couple to have ever had our wedding there. They supported us in ways beyond than we had ever imagined. The house is absolutely stunning - and Chloe their cat made an awesome addition to our weekend stay and wedding photos.

Tim and Teresa, How do we possibly convey one of the best experiences of our lives into words?!❤️ Your grounds- Lush surroundings with beautiful blooms, bright fruit trees, wild life roaming freely was a sight and truly had us in awe! Your bridal and groom accommodation both sophisticated, comfy and homely- made us feel absolutely spoilt with your thoughtful touches of crisp, fresh towels with adjourning chocolate. A mouth watering welcoming bottle of bubbles for the ladies and cold beers for the lads....we were so spoilt! Your reception venue- We fell in love the very first walk through. The greenery feature wall was amazing and the skylight lit up a winters day it felt so intimate and inviting! You guys are the epitome of the perfect venue hosts! So attentive, relatable, organised and professional. There was nothing you couldn’t do and everything was made perfect because of you both. We, alongside all of our guests were amazed with how seamlessly smooth, fluid and perfect the day and night went.....we wish it didn’t have to end. You guys are amazing! And to everyone reading this, I couldn’t recommend Anam Cara- Tim and Teresa highly enough. Book a venue tour and you’ll see what we mean! We had our wedding at ACG and we honestly cannot reccomend this place enough! Teresa and Tim were fantastic hosts, from the initial planning and advice all the way to the setting up on the day. The way they adapted quickly to the rain pouring down to come up with a way for us to still have our outdoor ceremony was amazing and we are so thankful for that. They took all the stress off us which is exactly what we needed when these uncontrollable things happen. This venue is so beautiful and magical, with so many spots to get those epic photos. We absolutely loved being here for our special day!

Tim and Teresa were fantastic, making sure everything was perfect for our big day. Teresa was great with all the arrangements and communication, and Tim was brilliant on the day, making sure everything was going to plan, even driving me to the ceremony! The venue itself is unbelievably beautiful inside and out, we only needed minimal decorations to bring our dream to life. Cannot recommend Anam Cara Gardens enough to anyone looking for a stunning venue!

We booked out the gardens and accomodation for a full weekend for our wedding. The gardens are spectacular and the on-site accomodation was luxurious! Friends and family absolutely loved it! The kids found it magical and didn’t want to leave! Tim and Teresa, the owners are both super friendly and genuine. In organising the day, they were speedy with communication, provided useful templates, vendor information and plenty of other little touches to make organising the day easy and special for us. Prior and during event, Tim worked in the background to make sure everything ran smoothly with caterers and ensuring guests got home to accomodation safely etc, Nothing was too difficult! I could go on...appreciate you guys! Highly recommend Anam Cara!

We were blown away with every aspect of Anam Cara. Covid changed our initial wedding plans, so we reached out to Teresa and Tim and they were responsive, flexible, and accommodating of our needs. We are most thankful for these two for making our day as special as it was. These two genuinely love weddings! Anam Cara Gardens is a stunning wedding venue on the Kapiti Coast. Not only that, but Tim and Teresa are beautiful people who make every part of the wedding planning process so stress free and simple. Nothing was too hard or a problem. We had our wedding here this weekend gone and had the best time. The gardens are stunning and everything looked lovely. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have a garden wedding on the Kapiti Coast!!!!

Stunning gardens and very friendly hosts. A wonderful day was had by all. We were there for the Wedding of my son and his bride, and couldn't have wished for better. A beautiful relaxed garden setting for the ceremony and fun and games on the lawn area during cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing. Would highly recommend this Venue.

Wedding venue of dreams!! Tim & Teresa, we will never be able to thank you enough for helping us create such a special day! From our first visit in May 2019 all the way until our wedding day October 2020, you were so welcoming and somehow made us feel like we were the only couple to ever get married at this venue- made us feel so special!! Teresa was amazing with all the communications, emailing back super fast and being so accommodating with what we wanted! (even with my little booboo with catering haha!) & Tim my goodness, on the day you made it so relaxing for us, with making sure everything went to plan, and all the extra things you did with helping the set up and more! You guys are both amazing! The venue is just a dream!! Everyone said the scenery of the ceremony was so magical and intimate! So many options for ceremonies, and the photos are just endless! Even the beautiful photos can't do it justice! It is breathtaking!!! We stayed in the Grooms Quarters for 2 of the nights (boys Friday night, bridesmaids wedding night), and we stayed in the Annex Apartment on the wedding night. Firstly, how awesome are the Grooms Quarters! Best treat for the boys. Also, the little extra gifts and treats left for us made us so happy walking in after our wedding.. little notes left for us on the mirror even! I could not recommend this venue enough! The options are endless! Thank you both so much once again! We will be back in 10 years to do a vow renewal that is for sure! xxx

Two of us stayed in a luxuriously appointed, and immaculately clean apartment. The oh so comfortable beds ensured a sound sleep. We woke up to the fragrance of rose gardens, which surrounds the property. Highly recommend a stroll in the pristine gardens to recharge your spirit after a tough covid year ! Warm hospitality...Tim the owner, went out of his way to accommodate our needs .

We recently held our Christmas Party at Anam Cara. From our initial meeting with Teresa and Tim, we found them to be so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a problem. We hosted around 100 people in their beautiful gardens, and our guests were so impressed that we had immediate calls to go back again next year. The facilities are clean, very well maintained. The whole experience was outstanding. We would certainly recommend both the venue and Teresa as a place to consider, from a small intimate wedding to an event such as our with games, food trucks and relaxation, you will not be disappointed. Amazing and beautiful place! The weather was perfect for our afternoon wedding and the sun trickling through the laneway was majestic. Open gardens and flowers blooming, we were so blessed to have such an amazing day. The reception was held in the function building, a modern and aesthetically pleasing venue with clean amenities and comfortably seated 90 guests including the bridal party. The plant wall with the archway was a hit with the guests and I'm sure future users will be able to enjoy fantastic photos with the wall as the backdrop. Most impressive was the host. Teresa and Tim were relaxed, inviting and accomodating to our requests. Not a single hiccup. Excellent communication and a real pleasure to work with. They are genuine, nice and honest people; they really want to ensure that you can enjoy the venue to it's fullest. I encourage everyone to seriously consider Anam Cara for their special event!

We've been staying in the annex for a week around Christmas and the gardens have been amazing for little strolls, from sunrise through sunset. The birdsong has been vibrant as well. Great access to the beach, the town and the river walk, which makes driving optional for summer essentials.

Perfect spot, just the gardens are worth a visit, however on this occasion it was about the Pot Fair. Well set up, and it could not have been a more perfect day. I think the shop/tea room/ entry should be more defined , it was a bit chaotic. A minor thing, otherwise a very good visit.

Such an awesome venue for our wedding. It was mean! So perfect. Tim & Teresa the hosts were behind the scenes keeping everything under control and made sure our day ran super smoothly. Highly HIGHLY recommend!
