L.We had the most magical wedding day at Sudbury.
Janine and her incredible staff were amazing.
From the moment we looked at Sudbury my daughter loved the atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.The catering was delicious.
Janine made it easy to make decisions for the big day.
A lot we would never have thought of.
Everyone at the wedding said it was the best wedding ever.
P.Janine and her wonderful team at Sudbury helped us organise the most amazing wedding! It was the most perfect day.
Sudbury has been easy to communicate and work with from day one scoping out the venue to the wedding day itself. We had Claudia (Events Coordinator) allocated to us who checked in and helped us fine tune the finer details as to how the day would run. We also had Janine (owner) and Gemma (function manager) on our wedding day and they helped it run so seamlessly from start to finish.
As most brides and grooms may resonate with, your brain is so full with all the planning, thoughtfulness and pressure that can come with it all. We felt so contained and confident about our day with the calm, assertive guidance that Sudbury provide.
One of my favourite parts of our wedding day was seeing my friends and family have such a fun time during our wedding. We had so many guests come up to us and say how beautiful the venue was, how efficient and friendly the staff were, and overall just how much fun they had at our wedding. Overall, Sudbury captured the day we wanted - easy going, relaxed and a fun celebration with our friends and family :) we feel very lucky.
Definitely recommend other brides and grooms to check out this venue for their wedding celebrations!

G.We made the best decision having our wedding at Sudbury, and our wedding was even better than we could dream of. Janine and the whole team were so helpful and communicative. The entire planning process was stress free, and they helped make the day run so smoothly. The food was abundant (and so delicious!) and our guests can’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was.
E.Cam and I tied the knot at Sudbury a couple of weeks ago and it was no doubt the best day we could have asked for. From our first visit to Sudbury we knew we would be well looked after. The team are incredible with handling almost every detail for you and as a busy couple this was ideal - Claudia our event planner gets a 10/10 for communication and I can honestly say I didn't have to worry about a single thing!
The venue speaks for itself, it is beautiful and you truly don't need to do much in terms of decor (if you don't want to!!) which suited us and our budget well.
We have had so many compliments form friends and family about how well run the whole event was, how friendly the staff are and that the food was some of the best food they've had at a wedding.
Can not thank Janine and the team enough for making sure our day was everything that it was - perfect.

Mark and I recently got married at Sudbury. Best choice ever - our day went totally to plan and was perfect in every way we couldn’t fault anything.
From the first moment we meet Janine and her team they were totally there to help with everything. From then and then up to and on the day everything ran like clockwork and we didn’t need to do a thing it was so relaxing (except my nerves) - thanks guys.
Wow also the cottage - the best place for the bride and bridesmaids to spend the night before - every thing there and more, a must do.
If you want an awesome day in an awesome location which is relaxed and beautiful - I would recommend to anyone.
All of our family and friends have said how much they enjoyed the day and how great everything was.🥂🥂

B.We had our dream wedding at Sudbury. Janine and the team were amazing! The day was absolutely perfect and the venue was stunning. Everywhere you looked was picture perfect and we had so many photo ops with our photographer. We even got some photos with their gorgeous palomino horse, he was so photogenic and friendly :)
The staff were well organised and super hospitable throughout the event. Having the coordinator at Sudbury made things so much easier for us and kept our planning process fun and stress-free.
Also the catering was delicious! They provided top quality food & service and our guests were super happy.

G.Wow. Everything about Sudbury has been absolutely amazing. We got married December 2020 and everything from the first look at the venue right up until after the wedding has been more than we could have ever dreamed of. The team are absolutely amazing and they think of every detail in helping you plan, they are kind and professional and we felt so comfortable with the Sudbury team.
The venue itself is stunning. The pergola under which you get married has a stunning backdrop of hills and there are beautiful trees around.
The garden bar and stables were immaculate and the polished concrete, brick and wood makes for a perfect rustic but modern, minimalist vibe. The festoon lights in the courtyard just made it magic.
Dancing under the stars outside was scene we could never forget.
The catering was perfect, everyone ate at the same time which is what we really wanted. The food was delicious and every single guest has commented on it.
The cottage was the perfect place to get ready and stay at after the wedding. The walk up the road with a lantern handed to us at the end of the night was a really special moment.

A.As a first-time MC of a relative's wedding, I can't thank the Sudbury staff enough for their direction and assistance in helping the proceedings run smoothly and on time through the day. They didn't miss a beat, and combined with the brilliant catering and bar staff, the whole team ensured we all had a thoroughly enjoyable day and evening at a truly beautiful venue.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Gemma and the rest of Sudbury staff. My parents got married at this amazing venue on Saturday and it was truly a special day.

G.Dom and Nicole’s wedding was beautiful and was superbly organised and run. Sudbury farm is a magnificent venue, and Gemma and Sam made things run like an empathetic version of clockwork, exactly what was needed. A wonderful experience.
M.This is a wonderful place to have and host an event. The venue is superb and the surroundings view are really quite nice.
The food was served in a very different way one dish at a time. There was very little of each food type and it was awkward to ask for more. However the nibbles pre dinner were superb.
The Covid scanner app was left out but announced as only for 1 hour. Not even sure where it was posted also.
Overall it is a great venue and well worthy of consideration.

M.WOW!!!! Sudbury's is an amazing and magical place!
Janie Sudbury is just wonderful, so caring and accommodating right throughout the whole process. She made organising our work Christmas party easy! (she never flustered over my zillions of emails haha)
The venue was stunning!! A cozy, well presented farm style area with a bar and dining area in the barn, both with outdoor flow to a peaceful view! I really didn't want to leave.
The horse whispering was so much more than I had expected, what an amazing team experience, I highly recommend!!
Janine is amazing with the horses and shared her knowledge with us not only with a demonstration but also by facilitating team building activities with the horses in such an organic and natural way, it's something I never thought I would get the opportunity to do!
Then there was the wait staff, cooks, and food!!! Aw man the food was AMAZING!!!!!!! So accommodating and dietary inclusive! For us annoying gluten free vegans haha it's no bother here, they have you covered with mouth watering meals and delights!!
Hands down the best experience and I will definitely be organising another event at Sudburys!!!
C.There is no doubt that Sudbury is a stunning venue, but what I'd like to emphasise is actually the impeccable service Janine and her team had provided during the planning services right up till our big day. Correspondence was always prompt and Janine has very high standards for her events; we used some of her recommended vendors and they all did fantastic jobs! My husband and I had a wonderful time planning our special day and we hope that future couples would consider this place for theirs too.
P.We attended a wedding at Sudbury in January this year, where my Husband was MC. Apart from being a superb location and venue, Janine and Janine's team were nothing but extremely professional, warm and friendly. The day was exceptional. Everything ran smoothly and everybody had a fantastic time. No complaints from us, not a one - keep up the fantastic work Sudbury!

My partner and I got married here in March 2020 while living in Australia. Whilst planning a wedding from overseas isn't always the easiest option, Janine and the team from Sudbury really made our dream day come true. From the absolute spectacular views from the venue for all guests to see, and the gorgeous trails on site surrounded with pure NZ beauty for the photographers to work their magic, this venue truly offers the perfect balance between the beachy, soft country, elegant vibe. Not only did they take all stress away from the actual running of the day, they had multiple choices of the best high quality businesses to work with for flowers/styling/music/photographers you name it.
I could not be any happier with how accommodating and professional they were to deal with, and if I got to re live that day all over again I wouldn't have changed a thing! Thank you so much Janine xx

Janine and staff manage the risks before, during and after the event - with a lot of experience being brought to task in making weddings run smoothly. S.Absolutely Magestical. My, now husband, and I found this place three years ago. First and last place we looked at having our wedding. The places is absolutely breath taking, the venue owner (Janine) is truly wonderful to work with, and the staff catered to everything. There was an oversight, on my behalf, on our choice of mains and my partner and I were absolutely blown away that not only did they troubleshoot the situation likity split but it was also some of the best fish I have ever had. I might be biased but it was definitely the best wedding I have ever been to. Every guest gave us accolades for best food and best venue they have ever been to for a wedding. I couldn't say enough positive and wonderful things about this place. Make sure to try to get cottage 103. Don't let the magical, fantastical, sensational, love glow leave you in a hurry- stay and bask in the love rich day, weekend, etc.

M.My husband and I recently got married at Sudbury. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful and provided an all-in-one experience that made planning a wedding so easy. We booked in 2020 and found the whole planning process a breeze with Janine and Claudia always there to answer our questions.
On our big day the staff were incredible, Gemma (our coordinator on the day) was spot on with every detail and apart from the cake falling over from the heat it was the most perfect day. The food was delicious, we had no complaints from our guests (Thank you caterers!).
Sudbury offers excellent and clean facilities, making it easy for our older guests to move around the venue.
Every guest who attended the reception told us they had an absolute blast. We highly recommend Sudbury for any event, especially weddings. We look forward to visiting Sudbury on our anniversary 🥰 and we feel beyond lucky to have spent our wedding day here. Thank you Janine and team, you are amazing!
