My partner and I just spent a very relaxing weekend at Matai Huka. Despite bad weather we had a lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage. The grounds of the cottage are beautiful and the cottage itself had every thing you could wish for. We especially liked the nice touched like breakfast provisions and cheese and home made pickles.

You can't fault this place. Perfect in every way. Stayed 1 night, next time it will be 2 at least. Quiet, peaceful place to chill out with everything you could dream of available.

Absolute bliss - peaceful - relaxing - homely - quiet - in country but only 5mins to town. Loved it wld def stay again.

All the attention to detail. Cheese etc on arrival, friendly greeting and great recommendation for a wonderful evening meal. Would have stayed longer but had a pre booking.booking. A piece of Paradise!
