It was a privilege to attend a great event at The Lodge. Perfect venue with lots of character. Food was delicious and service right up there, especially during such difficult times. Couldn't fault it!

What a fantastic place! my husband and I had our wedding at The Lodge a few weeks ago. the service was meticulous with friendly and incredibly helpful staff. We couldn't fault it. we had a lot of dietary needs (including myself) Pete and the staff were very accommodating and worked through our requirements prior to our wedding. The food was was amazing and all our guests had such great feedback. The Lodge is such special place and we both cant wait to come again! we can't recommend The Lodge enough!

A true sample of excellent hospitality!! The Lodge is set in a beautiful, quiet area surrounded by fields and trees with fantastic staff that cannot do enough for you! The owners are welcoming and make you feel part of their family instantly and will provide you with all the information you may need. They are fully informed regarding the surrounding area and any events which may be taking place. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfy! All rooms have their own balcony with fantastic views! It was a great experience staying there and we’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you for everything ❤️

A great venue, but could do with some TLC. Food could certainly be improved, not what I expected for a wedding. Come on guy's this would be an awesome venue with some effort.

Awesome location and place. Highly recommended for weddings. Best pumpkin and spinach salad in New Zealand definitely get it 😋

We had our wedding here and it was fantastic. Weather held out and great photo opportunities. The rooms were nice and food was gorgeous. Only comment was it was supposed to be a buffet, but our guests were told they were packing up as soon as people got their first plate. As a venus, second to none. Glad my wife picked it!

What can I say about this place apart from the fact that it is just beautiful !!!! The hosts (Viv and Pete and their two children Jared and Georgia) are lovely people, very polite, nothing is too much trouble and they always welcome you with a big smile! The rooms are clean, with excellent views, comfortable beds and a beautiful decoration with bright colours. They have a communal area with fresh coffee and tea which you can help yourself to and have as much as you like. There is a parking space for your car too. I strongly recommend this place to anybody, it's peaceful and only 20 minutes away from Wellington by car.

We have used this venue now on several occasions for business meetings and workshops. The owners are incredibly accommodating - nothing is to much trouble. The standard of food is very high and there is always plenty of it. There are a number of rooms which may this a versatile venue for meetings and breakout rooms. And on a fabulous Wellington day its great to make use of the extensive outdoor decking areas. I would highly recommend this venue for your next meeting or function. You won't want to leave!

It was a beautiful day and gorgeous views and we were there for our Great-Nieces wedding which was a wonderful event.

Tired. Needs updating and lights up the stairway to the car park.

The staff were awesome. All of them were cheerful, friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The views are amazing and make great backdrops for photos.

Awesome venue. The driveway is in need of attention, but the rest of the venue, food, drinks and service was fantastic

My wife and I were married here last Saturday. It's a great venue, with stunning views, the staff were great on the night and the food was wonderful (confirmed by the guests as well 👍). They also made excellent recommendations for other vendors, such as the photographer (Dave, von photography) and DJ (Ben, Partya), who we used and were incredibly happy with. Truely a great venue and a good choice for any event, wedding, dinners or whatever you are planning. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is that communication can be difficult with the lodge. Up until about a week prior to our wedding we were having trouble getting hold of anyone there and not really getting the answers we were after. That being said, everything came together, thanks to the team at the lodge and we had a fantastic night. Very accommodating people working there and I highly recommend The Lodge as a venue.

The Lodge is a beautiful venue with lovely views and wonderful owners and staff! We had a lovely time thanks to the Lodge, from the delicious food, to the lovely decoration and the great service!!! The owners are extremely accommodating to everyone, and the staff are always happy to help. Thank you ever so much for everything!!

I have been to several events at the Lodge and each one has been a great experience. The beatiful setting, spacious events area, multiple bars and fantastic staff make this place truly fantastic. An easy 5 stars in my book.

The Lodge at the Inlet was a beautiful location for a wedding. That staff where very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The rooms are in an interesting layout, so don’t be surprised if there’s a sink in the bedroom.

Wonderful venue for weddings and functions, with beautiful views of the inlet. The hosts and staff are warm, enthusiastic and highly accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble! Would highly recommend!

We just went to a wedding there today and it was a fantastic venue. The staff were great and the food was really good. Weather was amazing too which was a bonus. Definitely recommend it.

My girfriend and I visited New Zealand about two months ago. We travelled all around NZ and had a fantastic time but one of our favourite memories was when we stayed at The Lodge!!! The place is beautiful, well-looked after and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming! Viv, Peter, Georgia and Jared were keen and eaged to help us with everything. Wellington was a beautiful experience for us because of this special family. Keep up the fantaatic work guys and as we've already told you....we'll be back very soon!!!! Lots of love from Greece!!!!!!

Great venue and hosts.

Incredibly furnished and the views are stunning. The lovely owners and their staff are clearly passionate about what they do. I'm very much looking forward to our next visit.
