We were lucky enough to get married at Winehouse Queenstown in September 2021. There really is nothing else to say other than this is the perfect venue in every aspect! From the initial enquiry with Andy, to planning and details with Samantha and the planning and running of our wedding day, lead by Kim, everything was spot-on-perfect in every single way to the point that it was literally faultless. Throughout the process the communication from the team was beyond excellent. Andy, Sam and Kim go above and beyond to make your event personalised, special and one you will never forget, absolutely nothing is a problem! Unfortunately Covid-19 made us alter our event due to restrictions posed only days before our wedding date. The Winehouse Team took this in their stride and did everything humanly possible in helping us to reorganise our wedding so it could still go ahead, while meeting government requirements, all in just 3 days! The wedding day itself was better than perfect and something we will never forget. Everything ran seamlessly thanks to Kim and the fantastic team of Winehouse staff. Attention to detail was amazing, the venue looked breathtaking and the level of service given by the staff is something we have never experienced before! Catering organised by Winehouse through In2Food was exceptional. The quality of the canapès, main meals and dessert was to the level you would expect to see in a fine dining resturaunt. The best thing was Winehouse and In2Food were extremely adaptable in helping us customise menu and food options that reflected our theme, tastes and guest dietary requirements! If you are thinking of planning a wedding in the Queenstown region, then definitely get in contact with the Winehouse team, you would be mad not to! Also, when planning your wedding make sure you treat yourself to the heli flight up to the mountains...you will NOT regret it! Our wedding day really was the best day of our lives and it most definitely wouldn't have been what it was if not for Andy, Sam, Kim and the rest of the Team at the Winehouse, so thank you all for giving us a day we will never forget!

We started planning our wedding from Sydney and being overseas (amidst COVID restrictions) made it difficult to arrange viewings, menu tastings, etc. Sam was very accommodating and patient in helping us plan our wedding from beginning to end. Having not seen the venue in person until literally the day before the wedding, we found Winehouse as a venue to be so beautiful and a perfect canvas in terms of adding decorative touches to personalize our special day. Needless to say, on our wedding day we were absolutely blown away with how amazing everything looked! The staff on the day (Tayla, Ella & Alister) were incredible and were so thoughtful and easy to work with! The food was absolutely delicious and our guests were very impressed overall! I would highly recommend Winehouse as a venue for any event :) Thanks team!

An amazing venue for a wedding! The location is great! The buildings/grounds are gorgeous. The staff are lovely and the food and wine! Wow!

One word, WOW. They say planning a wedding is stressful, but Sam and her amazing team took the stress out of it, especially in the middle of a global pandemic. We had the most magical day and couldn't ask for anything more. The staff on the day were SOOOO attentive, glasses were full and the food was just delicious. Hands down the best wedding venue in Queenstown.

The Winehouse was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Kim and the Winehouse team were amazing and looked after us and our guests so well. The evening was very well coordinated and the food was absolutely fantastic. Thanks Winehouse for making our day so special and stress free. Highly recommend!

Amazing is an under statement when looking back at my wedding at the Winehouse. Planning for a wedding is difficult at the best of times, let alone trying to organise it from another country - but Sam and the team at the Winehouse just made it so easy for us, and planned out the most incredible day of our lives. The dedication and time put into the day for the year and months leading up to our wedding and particularly on the day were second to none, and it really was the everything we dreamed of having, in the most incredible venue, and the best location! Our guests were blown away with the beauty of the venue as well as the guests mentioning that it was the best wedding food they've had in their lives! Cannot recommend the Winehouse enough - I just wish we could do it all over again!!

Winehouse and their team are just beyond words. The venue itself is magical, the team is just beautiful to work with. I personally appreciate their support when we had to change our numbers every now and then, and right down to the last minute, with COVID-19 disrupting the visa applications of our guests. Thank you for helping us make our wedding the memorable occasion that it is. Several of our families and friends turn to our wedding day whenever the pandemic worries get too overwhelming, and it’s largely thanks to you. We cannot recommend you highly enough!

I don't even know where to begin with The Winehouse. Can't recommend this venue enough. The team were incredible - Sam, Kim and Tayla made everything stress-free from planning right through to the day. Nothing was too big of an ask. As soon as we had the rehearsal we felt immediately at ease. The food! Our guests will not stop raving about it. They said it's the best they've ever had. The wine and beer was also brilliant. The main thing we couldn't get over, was the coordination on the day. They are truly professionals - even the music on the day, which we thought we'd have to control..they managed everything. The Winehouse took any stress element out of the equation and allowed us to actually get excited and not worry about the details. Cannot recommend them enough. The venue is stunning! The photos we got (and our guests) were incredible. I don't think you can find a more beautiful venue in Queenstown. Thanks Winehouse! Erin & Karl x

I don't know where to start! We are so so grateful that we found Winehouse in our wedding research! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for us. All of our guests had only great things to say about it. The food was incredible and Sam and Kim (and all the staff) were both so amazing in the lead up and also helping the day go smoothly! Winehouse has a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to come back some day! Thank you all so much!!!!

I wish I could give the Winehouse more than 5 stars!! From start to finish the team at the Winehouse were exceptional ! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful! The surroundings take your breath away. We were gifted with amazing weather! Highly recommend getting married in Autumn as the colors of the trees were just out of this world . The Staff were professional and so friendly . Special mention to Sam, Andy, Kim and Alistair! Thank you for all your help leading up to the day and for all your help on the day ! You are all stars! They all went the extra mile to make our day perfect! The food, WOW ! Delicious! The guests were raving about all the dishes, especially the canapes, lamb and salmon. We did a shared style dinner and it was a great choice as everyone got to taste a bit of everything. The wine and beer were amazing too! The boys loved the Alpine Ale Works beers! So tasty! We could not have chosen a more perfect venue than the Winehouse! The team took the stress out of organizing a wedding. I felt so relaxed leading up to the wedding and even more relaxed on the day ! A huge thanks to Kim and the team at the Winehouse for making our wedding day run so smoothly!! We truly had the best day ever. It was also such an easy lead up to the wedding with their amazing coordinating. The Winehouse is the most stunning venue and we are so so glad we chose to have our wedding there. Many guests said it was their favourite wedding venue they had been to! The food was outstanding as well, as was the service. Great venue for wedding! Majestic view of mountains on both sides. The garden is also very pretty. Food is nice and yum. The staff is polite and helpful!

A huge thank you to The Winehouse and all the team! Sam, Kim and Andy were phenomenal in planning my wedding and Kim especially on the day itself! The Winehouse operates like a well-oiled machine and our day went off without a hitch, everyone was so happy to be there. The venue ticks all the boxes. Our family and friends could not believe how beautiful it is, how well run the whole day was and especially how amazing the food and wine was. WOW the food at The Winehouse is next level good! The entire team is so professional and has an amazing attitude to delivering outstanding customer service. Really I could not be happier that James and I not only were able to be married in one of the most beautiful venues in the world but also one of the best operationally. Thank you all so much again, we are so happy!

The most BREATH TAKING venue ! At the start of Gibbston Valley, nestled in between two mountains, with the Kawarau river flowing beside it and surrounded by nature and beautiful gardens is the BEST venue you will find, and my dream come true where I married the love of my life. Kim, Andy and Sam- My wife and I would like to thank you all. Planning a wedding is hard, but even harder from a different region and amongst the uncertainty that COVID alert lockdown brought. The winehouse team were the best, they were great at communicating with me, always made themselves available to talk and they reassured me .They had thought of everything. They made me and Catrinas day absolutely PERFECT and stress free ! We could just enjoy our day because we knew that the winehouse team had everything sorted ! Our guests loved the venue and the food by In2Catering even more ! Thank you, thank you and thank you to the winehouse team!!! Jacks and Cat x

My husband Rei and I do not have the words to express just how amazing The Winehouse and their crew were. These are people I will remember for a lifetime. Kim, Andy and Sam helped me execute my dream destination wedding in Queenstown as our initial one in Hawaii didn’t happen due to Covid. They held my hand during the process and never complained once about it all. Their communication with me was honest and helpful. Special mention to Andy who emailed me constantly despite having a loss in the family(if that doesn’t scream commitment to their jobs then I don’t know what will). Also to Kim for making sure our wedding day guests were well looked after. My dad is at times hard to please but he raves about Kim and said she is amazing and nothing was ever too big for her to do. She also made sure my parents got into a car and made it home safely. There’s just so many things but The Winehouse is definitely the spot. The food was AMAZING!! Guests raved about all night and day. With massive Samoan families who love to eat and also a few rugby boys we thought we wouldn’t have enough food BUT everyone got full at entree when main wasn’t even served. That’s how much food we had. Everything was delicious from the pork belly, ribs down to the Oreo cheesecake. We went back when the night ended for leftovers. That’s how good it was LOL. But in all seriousness if I could give you’s a million stars I would. You guys made our day what it was and I’m going to rave to the world about you’s! You’s are amazing x

Sam was wonderful, she made the entire wedding planning process so simple, it took so much pressure off us. There were so many options available to suit our budget, and the day itself ended up far better than we could have imagined. It was the best day of our lives, and it just went so smoothly, we highly recommend the Winehouse for any wedding

We can't express enough thanks to Sam, Kim and the rest of The Winehouse team for hosting our wedding. It was better than we could have ever dreamed. It was a seamless day from end to end thanks to the team. Despite the weather changing its mind every hour, we never felt a hint of stress as the team were able to set up for any situation (wind, rain or sun) without us having to lift a finger. It says something about the amazing venue coordination when the dance floor is still packed (even with the aunties and uncles) right up until it closes! Thank you again for helping us coordinate the most beautiful day and experience for us and our guests.

We were supposed to get married at the Winehouse in 7 weeks, but with the recent pause in travel (we are located in Australia) we have had to cancel :( Sam and the team at Winehouse have been so understanding and shown so much kindness to us! We started planning our wedding over a year ago and they have been tremendously helpful through the entire process. Would highly recommend this venue to anybody looking to get married in Queenstown - it is our dream location ❤️

The Winehouse is a stunning venue, we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it and knew we would get married there pretty much straight away. It has a special and intimate feeling to it and all of the guests commented on what a gorgeous venue it was and how amazing the food was. What makes it even more special is the staff who went out of their way to make sure that our day went without a hitch. Sam is the most helpful, kind and knowledgeable person and we don’t know how we would have organised our wedding without her! Thank you to all at the Winehouse for making sure we had the best day of our lives!

What a beautiful venue for a wedding!!! We absolutely loved our time at the Winehouse and working with Sam was such a breeze. She takes out all the hassle of trying to plan a wedding from overseas - She is a delight to work with!! The Staff were amazing and and our guests could not stop raving about the food and wine!!! Totally recommend using Winehouse for your Queenstown wedding!!! Thank you so much again Sam and the team!!! :)

The service from the staff was exceptional. They were responsive, accommodating and really friendly. It is the best I have ever had or seen. I went there to celebrate friends wedding vow renewal and the place and the staff absolutely turned it on for them and their friends. Having a great place, a beautiful venue doesn't automatically mean great service but at this place it does. I never felt once that any of the staff thought it was just a job to serve but they were part of the celebration and happy to make sure we we're having a great time.

I was the photographer at a recent wedding at this venue and everything about the venue is amazing! Kim and the team are all super great, friendly and helpful.
