G.We had our wedding here in March of 2021. Short version, it was perfect.
The venue was simply outstanding - you expect that in a wedding venue. What Eagle Ridge did for us was more than a venue though. Nicole, the venue manager, was an absolute asset in helping us plan our wedding - who knew there was so much to think about! She did this in a way that was super efficient, but still with the flare and concern you want in your own wedding.
The venue also recommended some great other vendors through their website. This again was an absolute asset as it removed any guesswork. All vendors that they recommended were outstanding - quite possibly the best DJ that I have ever danced too.
The best part, everything was extremely well priced. We got the royal treatment for a very modest budget.
My wife and I cannot recommend Eagle Ridge Highly enough
1.What an incredible venue! I was best man for a wedding here and it was nothing short of perfect! The venue, staff and food were all top notch, everyone looked like they enjoyed working there and all of the guests enjoyed themselves as well!
P.After searching long and hard, my fiance (now my wife) and I decided to have our wedding at Eagle Ridge. Not only is the venue and the view spectacular, but the entire Eagle Ridge team (especially Nicole) were amazing to deal with. Our friends and family had an amazing time, and we couldn't have asked for more for our wedding day.
L.I attended a wedding here and what an amazing set up. The view was beautiful!!! The only reason I have given 4 stars is because of the food. I think you need bigger portions, with a bit more carbs (rice/mash-potatoes) and vegetables (since the steak/salmon is really small). If not, then better starters are needed, as you were mainly serving tiny burgers that were a bit dry. With the starters, a better system is needed because when they came out the people closest to the tray were the only ones able to get the food. Other than the food, everything else was perfect! R.Rob and I fell in love with Eagle Ridge as soon as we saw it. The team at Eagle Ridge were beyond amazing especially Nicole with supporting us both before, during and after our special day. We will forever be grateful that we choose such an awesome venue right down to the staff that stayed to cleaned up which made our job that much easier! If I was to do it again they would definitely always be my first pick for venue hire. Highly recommend!!!
G.We got married in December last year and had the most magical day! Despite the rain and wind, everything turned out better than we dreamed. Leading up to our wedding day, Nicole was absolutely incredible at communicating with us, giving us advice and guiding us through the journey of planning a wedding! Could not have done it without her help! Eagle ridge was so accommodating and easy to work with. The owners were lovely too! There were times of miscommunication but everything was sorted and accommodated too. The team at Eagle Ridge added so many extra touches that made it feel extra special. The day of the wedding it was raining as the bridal party arrived. This was highly stressful due to the outside wedding we had planned. Briana was our event coordinator for the day and she was also amazing. I was a bit of a mess about the rain but the team were so accommodating and moved everything in case we changed our mind and had the ceremony inside. They were even willing to bring the arch inside for me! The team was what every bride dreams of. They were organised and willing to do whatever it was to accommodate us. We ended up having it outside and the rain cleared, but it was so appreciated how the looked after us and our guests! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and showcases New Zealand beautifully. Our photos were incredible. I would not hesitate in recommending Eagle Ridge and their team as a venue! We loved our experience and had the best day.

Eagle Ridge exudes quality from the moment you drive through the manicured grounds to the architecturally designed lodge, beautiful interior, and amazing views over rolling hills to Tauranga, Mt Maunganui and Mauao.
as well as all the great reviews you get for your weddings, I highly recommend Eagle Ridge for any club or corporate event.

D.Had my brother's wedding at Eagle Ridge and it was absolutely spectacular! The staff were amazing! The food was delicious and overall the wedding experience was just fantastic! Due to bad weather we had to shift things around and have ceremony indoors. That transition was smooth due to the kind support of the staff and management team! In all honesty, we preferred to have it inside rather than outdoors! Soo much more intimate! Could not have asked for a better place. And the views are to die for!

The gardens were immaculate, the food was delicious and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day. It could not have run any smoother! We had numerous comments on the day and post wedding about how amazing the view and venue was!

B.I've been to Eagle Ridge twice now. Once as a guest at a friends wedding and once as a photographer. Both times I was blown away at how beautiful the grounds and the view are. I had a great experience as a photographer there - the manager was so accomodating and friendly - can't wait to photograph there again! Would highly recommend!
L.It is honestly so hard to put into words how incredibly grateful Russell and I are for all of your help leading up to and on our big day in March 22nd. They said that planning a wedding is meant to be one of the most stressful things that you can do – but thanks to you guys we had an absolute blast. Having Kirsten’s extensive knowledge and ability to push us when it was needed whilst also letting us visit to measure the function room and put up props the day before meant that we could create the wedding of our dreams. We are so appreciative to everyone who worked hard behind the scenes and of course to Deb and Nigel for letting us try something different. Us girls loved being able to have the flexibility to wind down and stay at the lodge the night before, making it a breeze to get ready the next day. Our guests still talk about the amazing views and wow, that food! I would highly recommend Eagles Ridge to anyone – with such an incredible team and one heck of a venue you guys really nailed our big day so we could relax and have the most amazing time. So thank you so much for being a part of our A team – having our wedding at Eagles Ridge meant that we had the perfect wedding that everyone dreams of pulling off!
B.Absolutely stunning hidden gem. An amazing spot for a romantic retreat or a relaxing excape. The views from my room were amazing and the staff were so lovely. I will come back and stay here next time I'm in NZ. It was also the wedding venue for a family wedding, which was one of the most phenomenal weddings I've been to. A world class spot all around.
J.As far as Tauranga wedding venues are concerned, this must be right up there with the very best. Couldn't ask for a wedding venue set in a more beautiful part of the Bay of Plenty. Very fortunate enough to be able to experience Eagle Ridge Lodge!!
