We had Joel for our wedding DJ and we would highly recommend AbsoluteDjs. Joel was great at communication and really made the day and night run smoothly. Everyone at the wedding had nothing but great things to say!

I dealt with Joel in the lead up to our wedding and he was super easy to deal with. Sometimes took awhile to reply to emails but that's understandable! We had Ken (we called him Kenny) on the day as our DJ and he was excellent! We used the online planning tools which meant he could easily cater to our taste in music. He was there well before the ceremony and left heaps of time for his set up and stayed all the way through the reception until we got kicked off site due to the alcohol license finishing. I'd definitely reccomend these guys for your wedding!

Joel did a really great job at our wedding reception. He was great at reading the crowd and picking songs everyone would like. Everyone got up and danced, and the floor was full the whole night. We still get comments a couple of years later from friends saying it is still the most fun they have had at a wedding reception; we credit the success to Joel from AbsoluteDjs!

My husband and I got married at the Hobbiton Movie Set in May and Joel from Absolute DJs did a great job on our music for our reception. He was recommended to us as he had done weddings at the venue before and we were not disappointed with our recommendation. He was able to incorporate the music we requested, which was far from traditional wedding music for some of our songs. We had a selection of music from movie and video game soundtracks for our bridal party arrival and during dinner, as well as music from alternative/rock, to popular, to heavy metal for when we partied the night away. Joel also took song requests from our guests throughout the night and did a fantastic job of being able to read the crowd and chose appropriate music throughout the night. Thanks again Joel!
