I have been to this venue multiple times now for work related training days and the service is incredible every time. The food is outstanding and they have wonderful customer service. Although I did not have the pleasure of staying over night, I have heard nothing but praise from those who did. I would highly recommend this venue.

Came to this unique and hidden gem of a place for a work function and was blown away by the location, the atmosphere, the high level of service, and of course, the amazing chefs that prepared homestyle delicious fresh food for us. I cannot rave enough about this place and I think other function places can learn from them. From when I first walked in to when I walked out, I felt like I was part of this family. The food is divine (even during the tea breaks!). If you are looking to host a company gathering and want to get out of the city and go back to basics......Look no further. You will not be disappointed.

This is s great venue. Plenty of places to sit before and after the sit down part of the meal. The food was delicious, I which I could have fit in more than I did. They also had some games to play outside which looked to be well utilized :) Would love to go here again.

Fantastic, comfortable, clean, great service, most enjoyable stay and beautiful breakfast. We were there 8 nights very central to everything we wanted to see by car, we wished we had of stayed longer. We would highly recommend Lavalla Estate for people looking for a gorgeous accommodation. We recently held our daughters wedding at La Valla and had 120 guests. We cannot say how thrilled we were with the exceptional venue and the more than exceptional service provided by Bernie and her staff. All our guests commented on the lovely surroundings and fantastic food. The day went so well and we would certainly not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone considering having a wedding or similar event there. The venue was close enough for our Auckland guests to be able to return home and there was plenty of accomodation at the Venue and Tuakau Hotel (who worked in with La Valla) for everyone who wanted to stay. Thanks La Valla for providing the wedding we dreamed of having for our daughter. Bryce & Sally Earl-Peacock

An amazing venue. Had our wedding here and they were a stellar team. They ensured that the planning was as streamlined and simple to manage as possible and did everything possible to make sure it ran smoothly on the day. They liased well with other people involved with the event and moved behind the scenes to coordinate between photographer, videographer, florist, celebrant, our MC and many more. The food was delicious timely and varied and they catered brilliantly for those among our guests with food allergies. Highly recommend this venue.

Beautiful venue for all types of functions

My husband and I really enjoyed our evening, and stay at LaValla a couple of weekends ago. The cottage was lovely to stay in and the nibbles, the dinner and the dessert were nothing short of outstanding. The service we received as a group was top class also and such a nice touch to have the chef come out at dessert time to talk through what was on offer (wow they were the best Christmas mince pies and Christmas pudding that I have ever tried!). Well done guys, I’ll remember you if we ever need a venue. Thankyou. Amazing. Di.

In Auckland for the Lions Test. Stayed Friday and Sat nights. Had a fantastic time. Great Hosts ( they made us feel like part of the family), beautiful setting and very easy to get to everything we needed. Really looking forward to our next visit.

I was honoured to officiate for a beautiful couple a few weeks ago, my second time performing a ceremony at LaValla. This venue is so versatile with guest accommodation, a lounge for Brides & Grooms to prepare, indoor areas for the reception and ceremony as well as a lush green lawn and garden for outdoor summer ceremonies. Event co-ordinator Dolly was so helpful and pleasant to work with. Thank you : )
