E.Siobháin is the most amazing celebrant!
Working in the wedding industry myself I knew for a long time that I wanted her to be my celebrant. She was the perfect match to our intimate wedding.
She is beautiful inside and out, fantastic and caring towards our toddler and really took the effort to create a personal, funny and memorable ceremony. Not only did she write the most beautiful script, she took the effort to reach out to our family and friends overseas to send through messages and voice recordings. She also went as far as writing a rap to summarise our story to the beat of Fresh Prince of Bel Air!
She listened to and respected our every wish and is the best confetti thrower around - important for 'that confetti shot'.
I would (and do) recommend Siobháin for anyone looking for a celebrant and know she will put 100% effort into making your ceremony so special.
The wedding industry is lucky to have her!
T.Siobháin was excellent, she was very helpful with organizing the ceremony and keeping everything on track. She worked so well with all the guests at our small, intimate ceremony. She is a very lovely person and very professional and organized. We would recommend her to anyone.
C.Siobháin is one of the kindest people we have ever met! As soon as we met her we just knew there was no-one else we would want to have our ceremony. She made us laugh and feel so comfortable! The ceremony was just perfect and Siobháin was incredible. She made the ceremony so meaningful to us, as well as keeping it light and keeping our guests engaged. She honestly made our ceremony feel so natural and gave so much help throughout the whole process. She is such an authentic, kind, wonderful person! We could not recommend Siobháin enough!
C.Simply. Incredible. We didn't know how good a celebrant could be until we met Siobháin. From learning some phrases in Spanish and having the right music to play at just the right moment to making sure she had tissues at the ready at all times. The elopement ceremony Siobháin created for us so authentically captured our relationship and made our elopement something truly special, it simply wouldn't have been what it was without her. Would recommend her to absolutely anyone.
J.When we set out to find a celebrant for our wedding we weren't sure who or what we were looking for, but after one Zoom meeting with Siobháin we knew she was the one. Siobháin was relaxed, genuine and made us laugh, she felt like a long lost friend. She broke down the process to make it so simple and stress free, and she was always there for any extra help with recommendations and advice along the way. We are so pleased that we had Siobháin as our celebrant, she crafted our ceremony to reflect us so perfectly, with tear jerking moments and spots of laughter. We would 100% recommend Siobháin as a celebrant, she was incredible and it was the easiest decision we made!
T.Siobháin Hooper was the wedding celebrant for me and my wife in December 2021 and we were absolutely blessed by her perfectly created ceremony that made our special day that extra special. The day she sent us a draft run down of the ceremony my wife and I cried while we were reading her well prepared introduction of our lovestory. The first day we met with her it was her enthusiasm, patience, and personality that made us feel really comfortable. We can't thank Siobháin enough. Our family and friends loved everything about her. We are so happy that we came across Siobháin the celebrant we are already recommending her to family and friends!
E.Siobháin married my partner Catlin and I in October 2020. We could not have asked for a more perfect person to be our celebrant! She crafted a ceremony that felt intimate, authentic, and was a beautiful reflection of who we are as individuals and as a couple. Our ceremony was a perfect blend of laughter, tears, and of course full of love. If you are getting married in Wanaka, you have to pick Siobháin!! We cannot recommend her enough.
D.The best decision we made was choosing Siobhain to be our wedding celebrant, we knew as soon as we spoke to her she was the one for us. She did an incredible job with our ceremony, she made it personal, funny and with so much thought and love. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how awesome she was. N.Siobhain is just lovely! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our wedding guests even love her wit and enthusiasm. She reminded us how important our lovestory is and that what we have is really special. ❤️ She made us felt comfortable and guided as along the marriage preparation. R.Siobháin held our ceremony at the Wanaka Homestead in March & we had the time of our lives. We did not plan a big wedding and kept it simple, but even without too much traditional setup and grand speeches laid out by us Siobháin made our ceremony feel special and unique. She was a great choice as our celebrant and we can highly recommend her - she will make your wedding special too!
J.Siobháin was absolutely wonderful; we couldn't have picked a better celebrant for our elopement. She was flexible & up for a bit of adventure (we got married on a ski field), and she added a fun & friendly presence to our day. Her communication was spot-on (with a few helpful reminders, thank you!), and the ceremony suited us perfectly. We only met Siobháin in person on our wedding day, but it felt like I'd known her far longer. She was even kind enough to help us juggle our extra boots & bag of things we needed to snowboard down the mountain afterward -- so very appreciated! Siobháin is a warm & lovely person who truly has a gift for this. We wholeheartedly recommend her!
A.We can’t thank Siobháin enough for being a part of our wedding day! We had a particularly complicated elopement, with countless postponements due to Covid, and she was incredibly helpful and understanding each and every time.
Siobháin really took the time to get to know us and our story, which she reflected beautifully in the ceremony. She also helped us incorporate our families into the ceremony even though they couldn’t be there in person, which was absolutely lovely.
Finally, she put together a short video reel of the day that we got to share with our family and watched time and time again! Thank you for everything!

Y.Siobháin was the celebrant for our elopement and made the whole experience so easy, fun and personal. She was so friendly and genuine from the get-go it felt like a friend was guiding us through this journey. We had no idea what to expect of a ceremony and she helped us through the process, giving us vow-writing tips and making sure we had everything we needed. T.We wish we could give Siobhàin 100 stars! Siobhàin married my partner and I at The Canyon in Tarras, Central Otago and we could not have possibly hoped for a more amazing person. Siobhàin felt like a friend we had known forever and someone who we wanted to continue being friends with after we met her on the day of our wedding. She is the most warm and wonderful person, so much so, our guests were asking us if she was one of our friends and where we found her!! Siobhàin was incredible with our 7 year old and getting him involved in the ceremony, making it special for him also and sharing a drink with us and our guests afterwards. We have been to a lot of weddings and Siobhàin stood out to us, at our wedding, as someone very special - you would be missing out not choosing her as your celebrant.

G.I can’t really put into words just how amazing it was to have Siobháin as our celebrant for our wedding. Her thoughtful ceremony captured us as a couple perfectly, and was the ideal balance of sentimental and fun. She was so incredibly warm, and her excitement for our ceremony helped make our special day unforgettable. Having only met briefly via a video call prior to the wedding, once we met on the day it felt like we had known her for years, and her relaxed nature and banter put us instantly at ease. H.We couldn't have asked for a better celebrant than Siobháin. She went above and beyond - organising and incorporating family messages into our elopement, helping me change shoes on the windy mountain top, she even took a couple of short videos that we could share with our loved ones. The ceremony she wrote was so beautiful, bringing tears of happiness to our eyes. Words cannot express how wonderful she was from start to end. h.Siobháin married my fiancé Cory and myself last Thursday in the most beautiful mountain top elopement on Cecil Peak, Queenstown. We had no idea how or who to pick as a celebrant or what to expect. Siobháin was so lovely right from our first video call, asking about us as a couple and our two dogs which she included in her ceremony. Siobháin and our photographer kept my jacket tucked under theirs to keep it warm while we were getting our photos taken in less than ideal temperature. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing person to marry us. Follow up emails confirmed what we though about being around Siobháin with her saying it felt like she had just spend the day with great friends that she had known for a long time, not just met on the day. If you want a celebrant that will make you and your partner feel like the only important people in the world then you should not look past Siobháin.
B.Siobháin was a great celebrant for our elopement. We only gave her 4 weeks notice, but she managed to make the ceremony perfect for us, it was exactly what we wanted.
She was a great person to work with, would highly recomend.

T.Siobhain was absolutely amazing and I am so stoked she was a key person on our special day! Even though we only met her on our wedding day it felt like she knew us so well. She included personal stories and jokes and even took the time to get in contact with our family for words from them as they were unable to join us. Siobháin even handled my family sending last minute messages (right before the ceremony) and incorporated them seamlessly into the ceremony. We could not have had a better celebrant.
