B.Charlotte made our day extra special for us. She was there with us all the way from the first face to face meeting in Queenstown followed by phone/email check ins when we went back to Auckland. The guidance she provided along the way took away a lot of the stress for us and we didn't feel pressured at all! We really loved how how she made our intimate wedding fun and memorable, and even braved the wild elements with us. Our ceremony was absolutely our favourite part, it was so full of love, laughter and all of the unique anecdotes that make us special as a couple. We had so many guests comment on how much they loved it. Ceremonies don't have to be boring or by the book! Siobháin was so easy to communicate and connect with and we are so grateful for her attention to detail and beautifully written ceremony, we knew she was a great fit after meeting over zoom. D.It was an absolute pleasure having Charlotte as our celebrant. We didn't meet her in person until our wedding day, but after a few emails and zoom meetings, she gave us exactly the kind of ceremony that we wanted. With only a few weeks from our first meeting to the actual wedding day we felt instantly connected to Charlotte who made the whole experience easy and comfortable. E.Charlotte, what an absolute star of a human! We were quite nervous about the Ceremony and had know idea what it would look like, or how it would go. After a wine together and a couple of calls, Charlotte got us so excited and amping for the Ceremony. Charlotte gave us heaps of great ideas on how to personalise the Ceremony, gave us an idea of the structure, checked our vows and generally put our minds at ease. She really set the tone for what would be a cracker of a wedding – from the get-go it was fun, relaxed, comical, and brimming with love. She really did an incredible job, and we are so thankful for all her help. We cannot recommend Charlotte and YBD enough! Thank you thank you thank you!

P.S included in Charlotte’s repertoire is the ability to take a bourbon shot like a champ (on our request), relaxing a crowd after the bride falls down the stairs prior to the Ceremony, and seamlessly making a stray cat look like a valued guest.
J.Charlotte was super easy to get along with and has been very helpful from our very first skype call all the way to pronouncing us husband and wife. Charlotte's website has some amazing templates that will answer all of your questions as well as provides a ton of great ideas to add to your special day or help you write vows. We really enjoyed working with Charlotte and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a unique, funny, beautiful ceremony!

P.Charlotte is such a genuine, fun and awesome person – and to have her as our celebrant was just incredible. She really got to know us as a couple, and was so organized with preparing us for our big day. On our wedding day, she exceeded our expectations on what an amazing celebrant she is. The flow of the ceremony was seamless, her words were beautiful and best of all – it was so much fun!! All of our guests made comments to us about how amazing she was and how much they loved the ceremony, which was a bit different to what they are used to. R.Charlotte officiated our elopement in Queenstown/Wanaka in August 2020, after being given only 2/3 weeks notice. From the moment we had our initial consult, we instantly hit it off. She was extremely professional and helpful throughout the process, assisting in our vow making and also bring incredibly personable, meeting up with us the day before and we got on fantastically. This was a big help in easing any nerves and it was quite stark how little, if none, awkwardness there was between us and Charlotte despite literally just having met.
She went the extra mile in a number of ways, including keeping secret a number of messages we received from family who weren't with us on the day and looking after the cake on the trip over!
We couldn't imagine our special day without Charlotte being the Celebrant and her easy-going and friendly nature made it feel extra special; in some ways it felt like an old friend was with us. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

It was great knowing that the ceremony & all that goes along with it was just one less thing we had to worry about as we knew she was all over it. T.Charlotte was the best celebrant we could have ever hoped for. With a DIY elopement like ours, there were a few things that didn't go smoothly as planned. But we never saw Charlotte raise an eyebrow or make a face. Rather, she was all smiles and was very easygoing with how the day went by from preparation stage to the big day itself. She's definitely one of the biggest reasons why our elopement was so memorable and happy. After the ceremony, our guests even commented on how warm the atmosphere was during the ceremony because of how our celebrant made it feel so relaxed and just happy. Another thing we loved about ybd was they really took the time to guide us through writing our vows, knowing our love story, and putting their personal touch in their speeches and making it really feel like it's the couple's biggest and best day ever.

We worked with Jodie from afar over about a year to create a ceremony that was full of meaning for my Husband and I. Jodie felt like an old friend who had gotten to know us so personally. Our ceremony told our love story beautifully. Jodie assisted no end with getting the wording of our vows and ring ceremony perfect.
Due to an unfortunate injury; Jodie was not able to conduct our ceremony. Charlotte took over with such grace, compassion. warmth and enthusiasm. Our guests were all so surprised to hear that She had stepped in last minute!! On the day Charlotte was calm and organised. She spoke beautifully and genuinely and created just the atmosphere we were after.
We feel extremely lucky that we got to know both Jodie and Charlotte and will forever treasure their contribution to making our Wedding day perfect. Would recommend the "Your Big Day" team without hesitation.
