Miranda helped us to create a ceremony that was so us - not too serious but still tugged on the heartstrings, and very fun! She was so amazing to deal with throughout the entire process and even helped my husband to change his name prior to the ceremony. She’s organised, well spoken, funny, great at herding people and we couldn’t be happier with our choice in celebrant. We had so many people commenting on how fantastic she was. We highly recommend Miranda if you’re looking for a celebrant!

It was such a pleasure having Miranda officiate our wedding a couple of weekends ago. She is absolutely amazing at what she does! We both really enjoyed her fun and original style. Miranda is the perfect celebrant. Fun and easy going, yet extremely professional. She is high energy and extremely positive and this young lady really made our ceremony great. We were both always in the loop with all arrangements and Miranda was willing to change up and alter the ceremony however we wanted. The thing was, with how Miranda prepared our ceremony we more or less left it exactly how she prepared it. She just 'got us' right away. The whole thing was painless and easy, which took a lot of stress away for us, to let us focus on other aspects of our wedding. She is also very patient which adds to her class. Need a celebrant? Miranda supported us through the planning stages of the wedding during the pandemic, she provided options and alternatives when things fell through. During the rehearsal and on our wedding day she was always by our side if we needed anything and her presentation and spoken word was on point! Miranda is probably one of the nicest, coolest people you could ever meet, and absolutely MADE to be a celebrant. She was extremely helpful in the lead up to the big day, helping ensure the ceremony was exactly what we wanted - light, fun, and full of love and happiness, and she did this absolutely effortlessly. She helped my husband even up his vows to better match mine (he's a man of few words and I'm a waffler) and gave wonderful guidance to us both when we needed it. Our ceremony was prepared and delivered in a way that was perfectly aligned with our style and the people we are - she also ensured our dual language requirements worked flawlessly. Miranda communicates regularly and is highly responsive - she provides a draft transcript well ahead of time to allow for tweaks and perfecting, including helpful feedback from her experience on personalised vows. On the day, Miranda keeps things running smoothly and is an expert in dealing with last minute change of plans - in our case our ceremony location was dancing between indoor and outdoor right up until the last minute and Miranda got our guests seated and organised in the blink of an eye once the decision was made. We were extremely fortunate to have Miranda as our celebrant. We didn't have much time to plan our wedding so was naturally quite stressed but since Miranda was so experienced and helpful, she walked us through the whole process and made sure we didn't forget anything which really helped put us at ease. If you're in need of anything specific don't hesitate to ask Miranda for recommendations either, Miranda can easily point you to a number of different vendors. That is how we got our amazing photographer! Our ceremony itself was perfect and could not have gone any smoother! We had a really tight schedule and were quite worried that the group photos we had planned was going to eat into our personal wedding photo time before the reception but because Miranda is so amazing at what she does and worked so well with the photographer, they were able to wrangle everyone so we could get all the photos that we wanted and we even finished slightly ahead of schedule. Miranda is amazing and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant. Thank you Miranda for helping to make our special day so perfect!

Miranda was probably the single biggest help we had in making our wedding day happen. (And we live in Australia and were coming to Wellington for our wedding so we needed all the help we could get!) From the very first time we met up to discuss what we wanted (at a craft beer bar--yum), she was absolutely on top of every detail. She communicated with us separately to help write our vows and add a few special details to the ceremony. Miranda always made sure everything was in order well in advance. She wrote a beautiful ceremony and gave us the time to read over it and make the small changes we wanted. We didn't have time for a rehearsal so Miranda met us for brunch before the big day and talked us through the entire afternoon. The ceremony itself was absolutely perfect. Miranda is fun, engaging and is a great and emotional speaker. She kept everything on track while still making sure the ceremony was all about us and our love and commitment. She stayed after the ceremony to help organise photos and chat with our friends and family. We can't thank Miranda enough for helping us through the whole process and then making sure the day was perfect. We absolutely recommend Miranda as your celebrant!!

WOW! Miranda was AMAZING. We were overseas at the time of arranging the wedding and Miranda was so easy to contact and made things super smooth. She wrote the most beautiful ceremony and it truly captured us as a couple. She managed to understand our chilled, relaxed vibe and delivered exactly what we wanted with very minimal contact with her. She also helped with photos which was really useful and was amazing with my young Niece trying to get her to smile or at the very least be looking towards the camera. We didn’t realise how important choosing the right wedding celebrant was until we started working with Miranda on our own wedding. We were lucky enough to meet Miranda through another family member’s wedding where she was the celebrant, and we knew straight away that she was the right fit for us. Miranda is extremely friendly, open and genuinely excited about helping couples have their perfect wedding ceremony. She helped us create a really unique and personal ceremony as well as helping us separately create our own personal vows, which she made sure fit together with each other and within the tone of the ceremony - stuff we didn’t even think about before we started working with Miranda! She also takes care of all of the legal bits and makes sure you know exactly what you need to do and how to get it done. Having had our wedding now, we can say that having Miranda help us with a personal ceremony, and having her marry us on the day was one of the best investments we could have made. The ceremony really set the tone for the rest of the day, which turned out to be an amazing party full of love and laughter. We would recommend Miranda to anyone, she is amazing at what she does and will help you create a really special and personal ceremony to make sure your wedding is unique to you!

Miranda was the best choice we made of who to have involved in our wedding day. She took the time to meet us way in advance of the day to get a sense of who we are both individually and as a couple, she suggested a reading for the ceremony which matched up with us so well. She tailored the ceremony to make it a truly ‘us’ experience and incorporated all our nerdy references and inside jokes. We had laughter, tears and smiles throughout our ceremony which was perfect. Miranda played ringmaster for us before and after the ceremony including helping with some of our photos. We felt like she really got who we were and what we wanted out of the day.

Miranda is THE BEST. My wife and I planned our entire Wellington wedding from overseas (which was pretty tough) so we hadn't actually met Miranda in person until a week before the big day. Stress levels were running high; but as soon as we sat down to speak to her, we were put immediately at ease. She helped us plan the ceremony, talked us through the process and afterwards we both thought "wow, we've made a great choice - she is so kind, genuine, and organised!". We really appreciated that Miranda was willing to travel to the ceremony rehearsal, which was in Upper Hutt Wallaceville. On the wedding day itself, she was super organised, sorted out the groomsmen, gave a beautiful speech during the ceremony, and helped out immensely with the family photos afterwards. I barely know where to start with my praise of Miranda. She is so enthusiastic and passionate about her work and that comes across in her speech and all the pre-wedding communications. She was so helpful guiding us through the ceremony process and was always willing to give us advice and recommendations for vendors too. She is such a cheery and loving person and her energy set the tone for the ceremony. All our guests were saying how funny and sweet her speech was and were complimenting us on what an amazing celebrant we had. Her speech was so heartfelt and personal to us and her words were so beautiful and profound that I still repeat lines in my head 6 months later, it had that much of an impact on me. She even managed to calm down our screaming 1 year old when no one else could! Marrying the love of your life is always going to be the perfect day but having Miranda as your celebrant will make it even better.

Miranda was approachable and laid-back from our first meeting with her, and was great to work with right through to our “big day”. She collaborated with us really well, and helped us to turn our vague ideas into a wedding ceremony that held together. She also gave us lots of great suggestions for readings and vendors! This is someone who we think genuinely loves weddings, and she put that positive energy into making our ceremony just the right balance of fun and serious. We came out of the process with a ceremony that was personal to us, and incorporated all the important parts without feeling like a cookie-cutter solution. Throughout the wedding preparation, Miranda made us feel like our concerns were important, and was calm and organised about responding to emails and sorting out the paperwork, even when we were behind schedule! She was easily contactable for all those last-minute-panic questions, and despite being generally a pretty relaxed presence, proved herself to be a capable leader. She stepped up to herd us clueless sheep through our rehearsal really efficiently, so everyone felt comfortable on the day. She used the same skills when it came to getting through our family photos; Miranda was a real help without being overbearing. We loved having her there on our day, and will always treasure her part in our wedding ceremony. If you’re looking for someone to run your wedding ceremony your way, and are currently trying to pick a celebrant out of a sea of basically-identical online profiles, we can’t recommend Miranda highly enough.
