O.Been with them a few years. They are definitely a legitimate broker - not a scam. Andrew is the owner and knows his stuff. So far had a positive experience with them, will adjust my rating if this changes. They offer great commission rates thanks to their relationship with Interactive Brokers in the US. So I really use them as a way into the US market etc. They were BY FAR the cheapest in terms of rates. Of course u'd have to use the Interactive Brokers platform which in my opinion isn't the best out there but still an okay platform and used by many in America and worldwide.
E.I manage my own portfolio through Halifax and am enjoying the low fees which translate into higher returns on my portfolio as well as the excellent trading platform.
