I have been in business since 1999 and had a few accountants along the way for the first time in 15 years I can now say I have an Accountant who really cares about my business and myself as a business owner. However, for me, Slater and Co are much more than merely that: I have a company and two trusts, and I've entrusted Brett to look after them all for me for more than 15 years now. Why? P.My previous accountant liked charging for time not delivering value. Then I met Brett! I can say that Brett is a no nonsense guy whose team is committed to the converse. If you want a no BS approach and predictable costs with a full spectrum service .. dont bother going elsewhere! At Slater allow you to focus on your stuff while they do the stuff you hate, cant do or have no time for and they don't do it well they do it with excellence! Yes this sounds like an ad for them .. they deserve it! I feel like a customer not a number.
J.Life somehow gets more complicated as you get older and organizing business set-ups and doing tax returns can be the last straw. From the time I first discussed taxes and business set ups with Brett many years ago, it was obvious he new more about the tax system than folk from tax department. Brett was instrumental in designing an innovative business set up and continues to provide helpful advice; but the biggest relief for me is that each year my tax issues are efficiently resolved with minimal stress or time wasting. Also a real interesting guy to talk to about all sorts of things!
