I found Amy's Flowers online looking for a well established, self contained terrarium as a gift for someone who was very hard to buy for. The medium-sized option was the perfect choice. Even though I was ordering from half an island away, no closer options had the same variety of plants, cute container, reputable business etc. Ordering was easy as - could even include a message and it also specified the day and time range it would be delivered. It arrived today in Wellington on schedule, - in perfect condition, very well packaged and with care instructions. The recipient LOVED it, and I was really impressed with how gorgeous it is! The photos don't even do it justice - hard to capture how beautiful and varied it is from 360°.

Absolutely beautiful arrangement!! So easy to order from the States, and they put it all together, sent a photo, then delivered it all so quickly. My sister was incredibly surprised it got there so fast after her announcement 😅 Highly recommend getting the florists choice, I feel like they take the opportunity to get creative and run with it (that isn't to say their pre-designed arrangements aren't also beautiful, though!) Talk about amazing!!! I ordered a bouquet online for a friend, ordering was very easy. I received a confirmation email, then an email with a photo so I could view that bouquet (amazing idea!!!), and then one more email to say it had been delivered. All within two hours from purchase! Absolutely blown away by the service...... I ordered a bunch of flowers for valentines day for my parents in Paeroa, which arrived quite late and some of the flowers were wilted (we were sure this was through no fault of Amy's, but likely a l-o-n-g busy day for the courier). My mother let Amy's Flowers know so that they could keep an eye on quality control, and they sent out MORE flowers the next day!!! The original bunch was beautiful and huge, and the replacement flowers were fabulous. Highly recommend these ladies.

Although when ordering for delivery there is no time slot only the expectation to receive such flowers anywhere between 8 AM and 6 PM on selected day and in my experience ordered two days prior for it to be arrived around 5 PM.

Few things are perfect, but there are those that come close: grits from Sugarcane Farms made with heavy cream; the guitar rift in Prince's Purple Rain; the color black; a glass of sweet, iced tea with crushed ice; the scene in Captain Marvel when the heroine realizes her own power; luggage with 360 degree spinner wheels. We could go on, but hopefully you get the picture. As customers, our expectations are often minimal as we are so accustomed to substandard customer service. Thus, when we are the recipients of superior customer service, we want to tell everyone. We’re southern Americans. Besides an appreciation for rich food and drink, American football, and the beauty that is our home, we have an appreciation for good people. When a southerner claims you, you’re ours. Our sister-friend’s mother passed away, and her American friends wanted to show our love for her and her family. We contacted Amy’s Flowers in Hamilton and explained that we would like two funeral wreaths in specific colors (red, blue, and green…and in that order) as those were the favorite colors of the family member we lost. Though they had numerous, beautiful arrangements, none encompassed all three colors. We were by no means attempting to be “extra”. We simply wanted to honor our family member. Sensing our need, the attendant stated that they would do all they could to find flowers to match our request. The truth is, that they exceeded our expectations. The two funeral wreaths were beautiful. The family did not expect them, but they were well-received. The attendant even made out the greeting card which bore the names of over fifty individuals who were a part of this. While we do not live in New Zealand, whenever we need to send flowers in the Hamilton area, there is only one choice: Amy’s Flowers. We plan to visit in February 2020, and we will definitely make a stop there to personally thank the individuals who were so gracious and kind to us.

I had attended a business meeting and was sitting next to Ryan Henwood of Amy's Flowers. He had a small pot planted white moth orchid he was using as a prop to promote the range of flower creations on offer at the store.
