Great vaccination centre! Staff nice musics deejays free haircut mr whippy and give aways! Great drive through perfect 5 stars

Vibrant open air market, lovely street atmosphere, good selection of snacks on sale for breakfast and lunch and some very fresh produce and local crafts. Was tempted to buy some of the kitchen gadgets. There was some lovely traditional handmade clothing and jewellery!

The best place for excellent prices on all fruit and vegetables. Vegan heaven! Wonderful stall holders

Great family market. Really good for friut and vegetables nice and fresh, also great prices. Awesome snacks on sale while you look around. Just parking can be the only problem. All n All worth a visit if you've never been.

It's an amazing treat on Saturday morning feom 7am to 12 midday. Great variety of fruits n veggies and some great regional cooked food. Definitely worth a visit.

Can always find a bargain here be it fruitnveg,brekkie/lunch,clothes or just whatever,try and get there early for parking and take cash,have noticed prices have crept up abit but it's Auckland everyone's trying to make a living

Its an amazing place to get cheap deals. The cheapest most nicest fruit I've ever shopped from there is Lady Dora's fruit and veges !!!! Amazing staff and friendly service, beautiful food stores with a different range of cultures to try from ! New Zealand cuisine and the hangis there are amazing! The clothes are super nice and you'll find cheap ones there and some are pricy depending on what clothes you want

Cheap price for the good quality. A lot of free car parks around the area. It's a place I go regularly now.

Really fresh food. Can get fresh fruits and veggies that you won't usually get in the grocery shop. The only problem is that you can only use cash and not card which is very inconvenient.

Always a delightful place to visit for the freshest vegetables, watercress and puha, cheap clothes for those cold days and plenty of hot food to tantalize the tastebuds

All cultures enjoy their market experience where they can buy fruit and vegetables from their own country and are happy to engage with each other.

Parking: Limited, parking wardens are mean! will ticket you if they can.park in a correct spot. don't park on medians or traffic islands or limited time parking even if others are they will ticket everyone, kills the vibe and stop people returning. Food: fantastic variety, prices vary, lots to try. Fruit & veg: lots of options, somethings hard to find elsewhere, big difference in prices and quality. Clothing: some cheap stuff to the authentic and hand made and some funny tee shirts.

Not that good anymore. first time here in a few years does not seem to be as good as it use too. Mostly food, Veges are alittle expensive for a market

Flea Market was a great cultural experience, as we first hit the food trucks to fuel ourselves for the some shopping, I ended up with a super gooey and yummy steak/egg roll for $8 (bargain) - the Mrs took her eyes on a few Asian food snacks, equally as delicious. We found some great coconut oils, served by a classic British kiwi gent (made me feel at home) and also some great deals on sports kits (oooh yes I still rock them)! Finished off with fruit shops, watermelon, papaya, cherries and oranges 👍🏼

If you go you have to try the Turkish feta and spinach pancake thing . Sooooo good and the guy who makes them is nice to talk to as well

Otara markets happens every weekend at the back carpark of Otara Town Centre near Otara Maccas. It's one of the best places to buy fresh produce for a fraction of Supermarket prices. The egg trays of size 6 eggs that go on for sale here are the cheapest I've seen and they're great quality eggs too. Would highly recommend people looking for specific fruit and vegetables such as squash, rock melon, dragon fruit etc. as some vendors import them to sell here. Very rare occasion though.

Busy market with a good range in fresh fruit and vegetables available, including ingredients for Asian dishes that you can't find other places. It's easiest to bring some cash with you, there is always a long queue for the money machines nearby. Peak close by and walk to it, it will be easier than trying to get a park in the car park.

Awesome fresh food. Amazing fresh flowers. Great food. Definitely try the young man and woman selling mussel and seafood fritters. The stall is apparently fairly new but the mussel fritters are awesome!! Plan on trying all they have! Definitely visit this market. Go early. Don't park on site coz you'll be stuck. Go a side street close by for parking

Amazing place, can find anything at the right time, from curios to unusual items. Mostly works as a Farmers market on Saturday mornings.

Fantastic experience here and I always love to goto this place for veggies. The only issue that I found is finding a car park is but difficult.

Authentic Indian food made by a lovely Indian couple curry chicken, butter chicken. Always go for the curry goat as chicken and lamb are readly available everywhere, you won't be disappointed.

Best flee market around these days. Clean and tidy and great quality fruit and veg.

So much fresh produce and really good price! The people were friendly and good to interact with. Seafood market was beautifully fresh and their raw fish with coconut is amazing! Def recommend!!

There is a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, cultural foods, clothing and toys and most items sell for a reasonable price. The market can get busy and crowded after 10 so it's best to come early in the morning like 7-9.

Really busy, but really tasty food. would recommend for those with strong enough stomachs to handle a bit of gastro since most places can't get a health rating. Strong stacg also required for the fish shops which seem to sell exclusively day old whole fish and shellfish.

Best place to buy Fresh Vegetables in Manukau.... Parking may be little difficult. you may need to wait long to get slot. Open early in the morning and open until mid day. Cheaper and worth. Wide ranges of vegetables available.

Love this place... Wide variety of fresh collection of vegetables and fruits on Saturday morning and is always busy... It also has food trucks preparing yummy food and kiosks sell various other stuff. Items are fresh and prices are much better than supermarkets.

Normally go for our dumplings and mussels fritter from Anne. Clean market and rubbish bins were emptied on a regular base to cater the busy ness of the crowd....

I rate 3 stars. A star for good food, a star for great fresh veges and a star for location (space). The little shops are like Chinese stores with cheap ass toys and clothes that will break by the time you get home. The other small family business stores are good. Overall great for food

This market is busy, parking will be hard to find. We parked a little way down a side street. A good variety of vegetables, good prices. Too busy to take kids, if you don't like crowds I wouldn't recommend this market

A nice place to hang out with family on Saturday morning. Adequate parking. Veggies and fruits galore. Each month have different things available. Maori gifts are there between 3 to 4 stands. Relaxing morning there!

This market has a good selection of fresh fruit & vegetables, cheaper than supermarkets. Was a hard choice on the food front too, quite a few stalls & trucks offering varies tempting delights. Has several stalls offering pacific music, food, souvenirs etc, amongst the usual clothing and second hand goods. You NEED to get there early to avoid touring the car park and local area looking for spaces.

Awesome to go for fruit, veges, flowers and local fast food trucks. Other stalls with knock off clothes too if you're into it, Nike, Adidas etc. Always busy, great energy.

Love coming and seeing/buying all the fresh produce! Lots of varying stalls to see from kids toys, foods, CDs and more! The parking space allocated to the market is small (for the amount of people that visit the markets) so it's generally best to arrive around 7:30-8am otherwise you will be queuing for ages.

Fantastic market with lots of options to suit all ages and tastes. Wide range if fruit and veg fresh from the farms as well.

It pays to go early like between 6-7am, anytime after that it just gets chocka with traffic. Some stalls have some really fresh fruit and veggies at great prices and a few other stalls just need to throw their produce in the compost bin cause they ain't worth selling. A huge variety of food which is my fave, best place to get kebabs on a stick and steak stirfry is the greenish coloured caravan.. The hangi are delicious aswell (2 Maori women sell them)

Great way to kill time when you don't have anything to do. Love going here and looking at all the beautiful and interesting crafts and traditional wears there and trying out all sorts of food. You must try the Rarotongan donuts, especially when they're still warm!

Otara market takes places every Saturday for vegetables, fruits, fish and other seafood, clothes, plants, jewelry, food, 2nd hand electronics, tools, personal care etc. It is a must visit with plenty of car park provided. Get your breakfast Mcdonalds located next to the market. I took my dog so I guess it is dog friendly too. Lots of buzzz. What an amazing activity to do each Saturday morning.

Great produce and items on sale Saturday morning. The fresh vegetables and breakfast or brunch is an easy choice. Take a large bag or trolley.

It is best to go first thing in the morning so you get the best and freshest orifice. There is just so much variety of goods available from the islands. In addition there is music, coffee and all sorts of clothing, bench ovens etc etc. One could spend at least 3 hours there.

Good to go check out abit of culture. Nice food stalls got every type of food you'd like a good mix of Asian to Polynesian and European aswell. Not to mention the vege stalls. Check it out every Saturday morning. Earlier you go the better.

Vibrant! A lot was going on when we visited, Otara is always so diverse. I believe it has a true sense of community. A wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, coconut oils, Maori souvenirs, Pacifika goods, honey, and much more! You must check it out when you visit Auckland.

Good cultural experience if coming to New Zealand. Good variety of food and general stalls there. By far the best coffee and lamb rolls you can try there are done by Coffee 2 You. Carpark 33.

Good market to buy fresh vegetable and fruits etc. There are also pop up shops for all kind of fast food. Very close to motorway. As it only happens on every saturday for half day, sometime is very hard to find parking.

Most things you need in 1 place, food lovers paradise, I travel to Hamilton for mamas doughnuts, they sell them there, friendly atmosphere & can barter.

Make sure to keep cash handy before you go, pls don’t look for atms nearby. Very crowded around 8 am so avoid that time , hard to find parking but after few rounds you may get 🙂

Polynesian market, just like you find on the islands. Great for fresh vegetables, and fruit as well. Food stalls as well. Bring a blanket so you can sit in shade of pines to eat as no place to sit and eat.

It was crowded at 7am. It's best to go earlier. I collected all my vegetables and managed to look around before the overflow of ppl.

Arriving at the Market be prepared to be the for a while, there's so much to look at with all the stalls onsite. Be aware parking inspectors patrol the carparks - even on the weekends.

On Saturday, 17 October 1976, it opened after years of fund raising, argument, concessions. discussions and finally sufficient agreement and consent by the key parties including the, then, Manukau City Council. It opens at 6:00AM and ends at 12:00NOON on Saturdays. Whatever you want, if you are patient, you can find it here. This is a rasonably safe place for tourists. They won't be mugged. But they need to guard their valuables. Have fun.

More accessible by the community , close to the motorway north and south. Enough parking for public and MIT students and very close to the Otara shopping town especially the food shops and cafeteria
