Reviews of Parnell Farmers' Market
K.
A quiet true farmers market in the towm, not too many stand but perfect for organic lover, easy parking and with a nice cafe beside.
G.
I've found that the Parnell farmers market is always a great place to go and get your fresh produce. There's always lots of variety of fruit and vegetables.
Plus, you'll also find other things like bread, eggs, food truck / takeaways and other ready to eat food like people selling chutneys, jams etc.
One of the best thing is that it's always a collection of small businesses. Often people with new products sell there and it's awesome to get out there and celebrate all their hard work.
Definitely recommend a visit.
R.
This market is temporarily sited behind the Foundation as the hall is undergoing repairs.
A great Farmer's market. Best organic vegetables, honey and eggs. The fish is fantastic also. Great atmosphere and really good to spend time here.
M.
Beautiful place and shops. The area have many restaurants around and very nice walk on the water
v.
Good place and good produce.. Definitely worth trying considering its in the city.
Note, I read that its a very French Farmer's market but to be honest it didn't seem very French. But that being said the produce was pretty good and reasonably priced.
Of course good LIVE music and coffee
M.
Small but worth a visit 😊👍 and there's a fair amount of grassy areas to sit/picnic on after buying consumables from the market stalls. Even our lil pup agrees! 😁
D.
Great market, lots of fresh fruit stands and good snack options
김.
It opens at the parking space behind the library from 8:00am to 12:00-13:00pm every Saturday. We can buy fresh vegetabls, fruits and bakeries etc. Especially, milk and eggs are recommendable.
Y.
Good place in the morning... Fresh vegetable and fruit and milk... Not too cheap but well ok for find something different
B.
One of the best kept secrets in Auckland, these markets have everything you could hope for: Fresh produce, artisan bread and pastries, coffee, food carts, cheeses, pickles, relishes and a great little craft market inside the community centre.
Close to the domain, it's a great place to fill up your basket and picnic in the park.
Remember to take your keep cup, shopping bags and cash money!
y.
Very nice place 👍
D.
Some unique tasty products at this market kept me happy
I.
Very nice vibe with live music playing by music school kids :)
R.
The market itself is good. But its filled with old aristocrats! Painful. There are some great food items and some awesome fresh produce. You have to wade through the overpricing tailored for those aristocrats but there are some prices that match the quality. At least there are also plenty of dogs to watch
G.
My husband mentioned best egg bene with salmon he's ever had which is quite a compliment as he can be a fussy eater. Not sure though about dining amongst so many dogs outside...just felt abit unhygienic for some reason.
K.
We go here for Zaroa meats - delish halal meat that is normally made with pork I.e. salami, pepperoni, chorizo etc.
There's also a great Turkish stall with gozleme and fresh fruit/veg vendors.
A.
Great little market with loads of fresh fruit, veges, breads, flowers, plants & more. Lots of dogs around to which was nice to see. Certainly going back when I can. Good prices of fresh berries.
S.
Great little market in central city. Free parking both days but get there early. Good selection of food with a French flavour. But other food also available. Great fish shop for smoked fish. Pastries salads hummus veges honey coffee and lots more. Bathrooms clean and tidy. Well worth a visit then you will become a regular.
S.
Great product...variety of product...good prices...friendly operators
K.
You should check out this little market - full of community spirit. Some fresh produce (two stalls). Fresh artisan bakery, cheese and nuts, some meat/sausage producers, free range eggs. jams etc. Often there is a performer. Bring some changes and have a European bakery plus a cup of freshly brewed coffee and call it a morning.
M.
Always the cutest customers
H.
Great little spot for fresh produce. The market includes a variety of fruit, veg, plants, dairy, pastries, coffee, meat and fish to name a few. Occasionally certain products can be a little pricey. The market is dog friendly though they should be kept on a leash. Although most places take EFTPOS, not all do. You can take money out there for a small fee, however I recommend taking change with you.
B.
Great food, great produce!
C.
Great place for fresh seasonal fruits and veges. Most vendors only take cash, although eftpos is pretty common too. Prices tend to be highest around 9-10AM and go down by noon.
If you want deals, plan to get here by 11:30AM, and bring a few bags.
S.
Lovely place. The milk is really pure and delicious. The price is very reasonable, $3.5 filled with a liter. Highly recommended.
G.
This is a cool and chic little farmers market. A range of organic and non organic produce and fresh pastries. Great coffee there too. You can get cash out at the market for a small fee. Meats, fish, flowers, baked goods, produce and plants are all available for purchase!
M.
Nice little market, a few small and unique stalls. One was fully vegan! Price is quite high, which makes sense as it is in Parnell. Otherwise great food and atmosphere, live guitar etc..
M.
Highly recommend. Lots of great tasting food and quality produce. The place has a really nice ambiance as well and it is well worth a nice morning walk in the weekend to get there. Most places accept card as well!
A.
A great place to go for fruit and vegetable shopping and meet new people from the community. Some time they also have live music being played. You can also find the bakery products, breads and fish products. Can be bit expensive. But a nice time for a walk.
M.
Authentic organic vegetable and fruits. Love the Jersey organic non homogenised Milk sold here. Plenty of food stalls for breakfast. Try to be there early otherwise most stocks don't last long.
P.
Small but lovely farm market. We bought a delicious Turkish style flat bread called Gozleme. Yummmmm😋
S.
Get there early have breakfast grab things for weekend. Lots of great food stalls and pastries hummus bread etc. Big range of veges check your prices but generally good. Parking easy if early.
F.
Lovely local farmers market with fresh produce, a BYO bottle to fill up from the vat of fresh milk!!! Local smoked fish, brilliant bakers - check out the filled donuts (wicked), soup makers, organic fruit and veggies . . .
W.
Great Market. Good variety of food
A.
We used to go here every Saturday when we lived nearby. It’s got everything you could want from a weekly market. We especially love the fresh milk!

BEST FARMERS MARKET
W.
Excellent market....but little bit too expensive.
It seems like the value of money 💰is gone down due to the global inflation....lol
M.
Well laid out and great selection and improving all the time; smaller than the French Market, but very local to where I live in walking distance and has live music, very friendly people, and great coffee...couldn't be better.
J.
Good combination of different niche suppliers. Range isn't as extensive as the French market, but it's certainly a bit more relaxed and less crowded.
A.
Nice to be able to get produce straight from the horses mouth... however $7 for a small loaf was a little pricey.
Definitely worth a visit.
M.
Always a good destination for produce. Make sure to visit Cliff's Gardens stall.
D.

Decent place to buy organic vegetables and all kinds of homemade fresh foods. Love the small market that puts everything together with good vibes.
R.
Fantastic place small personal and great products has a very friendly atmosphere, local coffee shop very relaxing.
M.
Good produce but small range. Not as many street food stalls as La Cigale in Parnell. Easy parking. Cafe/ bar alongside.
Á.
Small outside market offering seasonal vegetables fruit and more by the farmers themselves. My favourite is the milk refill station.
S.
Excellent quality vegetables and eggs.
And I love their tiramisu!
D.
Lovely small market with a good range of vegetables. Highlight is the first vegetable seller when you come from the parking lot. Cliffs Garden.
D.
Lovely atmosphere and community feel. The produce is always top quality and it's great to know you're supporting local businesses.
A.
Lovely place to visit on a Saturday morning, lots of yummy food. good coffee, sometimes there is a handcraft market as well.

(Translated) Very small market, very interesting. Not suitable for a large group tour. Two or three people came to stroll around on Saturday morning. It was good to have a snack (near the museum and can be arranged with the visit). There is a Turkish stuffing stall, which I eat very well (a girl who spoke Chinese as a child in the stall enthusiastically helped me). My wife spoke highly of a borscht pie. The child ate several fried dumplings (a stall of a Chinese couple, quite a few people bought them). Others, we also bought crispy bread, drank coffee, and freshly squeezed juice. Of course, there are also milk, fruits, flowers, seasonal vegetables, and singing in the market. Very interesting
