Great place, and the staff was very friendly and we had a nice little yarn about the local produce, how he picks things daily for the shop and some advice on things to do locally. High quality fruit and veges here, spray free!

We visited Cheskin Orchard in early March so at the height of the fruit season. Excellent array of spray-free fruit of excellent quality. Some interesting varieties not available in your supermarket or veggie shop. The only downside was the size of the bags (presumably a KG). Would be fantastic if you could mix them up and make up your own KG as you really do want to try all of the fruit available as it all looked fantastic on the day we visited.

Juicy and flavourful stone fruit.
They have white flesh and yellow flesh varieties of peaches and nectarines, including some that are less common that you don’t find elsewhere.. the old Newcastle apricot, Moorpark apricots, Louisa plums, and the firm textured white peach Southern Ice... my yearly favourites!
They sell their fruit in cute paper bags in various sizes and have a great selection of other fresh produce!
Perfect stop off on the way to or from Akaroa and the bays!
You can definitely taste the difference over supermarket summer fruit!
Friendly and helpful staff that can make suggestions if you’re not sure what to choose too!

Overpriced as compared to the same produce in supermarkets in NZ. 10 dollars for 6-7 apricots. Same goes for all other fruits.
