I asked a staff member if they happened to have "said item" in stock as usually i would order online and i couldnt see anything and wouldnt know where it is kept and she went out of her way to have a look for me 🤪 was respectful of my not wearing of a mask. *yes i have an exemption*but break the stigma its a rewarding experience when your not confronted for not wearing a mask. 🎭 Especially when your already anxious about being out in public. K. C.We try to support our local grocers whenever we can. The funky pumpkin stocks a good selection of seasonal produce and fruits. They also keep a small supply of Asian veggies. Veggies from your local growers just taste generally better than the mass produced supermarket stuff, especially tomatoes! Club card is free and gives you access to some bargains. Bike parking right outside the doorstep. All in all the funky pumpkin with the fish mongers, butcher and Ken's mart all in the vicinity, you can on many occasions not step into the supermarket.

I have always found the deals to be very good and consistent, especially on items such as broccoli, apples and avocados. All the produce is fresh and clean, and they also supply free range eggs and other items such as cheeses, spreads etc.
The only thing I could really complain about is the layout of the store, as you have to through the aisles back to the entrance to view the products there, and there is no access to it from anywhere else.
I think this is one of the best fruit and vegetable stores you can find within the city, and their Funky Pumpkin Club definitely makes shopping there more than just worth it.
