First time in there, we always know that these guys sell Sugar Baby Watermelons. We came away with not just watermelons, but a $6 10kg riwai(potatoes) & juicy nectarines. Yum thanx Bell ;)

I find shopping there a breeze and we'll worth checking in each time I'm in town. There specials are highly competitive and in fact at times better than local supermarket. Don't expect this on groceries they haven't the buying power but butchery and produce, they Excell and I have never had problem with friendly helpful staff

Its okay for some things have noticed though there mandarins sometimes taste old, the potatoes are super soft the ones in big bags. Other then that they are affordable and have a good selection to chose from.

Nice fresh produce and friendly staff. The place is hygienic and well maintained. Prices can be on the higher side in comparison to Pak 'n Save which is right across the block, but remember they are a big chain and it is important to support small business too, so the competition eliminates monopolistic pricing.

Staff look sad every time i go in to shop. Maybe they are feelin the chills of winter or just job unhappy. Anyway you get what you need...pay your money....then leave. Not a eager pleasing place to shop i feel Since my last review...some of the staff have left. People are happy now and take a little time to be co-operable or pass a quick smile..laugh..or word. I often go here for fresh veg, spices and sometimes meat. The main problem I have is everything is wrapped in plastic. There were even big brown paper paper bags of produce which was great but then they had to put all that into a single use plastic bag. I am now walking out of you're shop and going to pak n save just for that reason alone if what I want is wrapped in plastic.

Prices when compared to Pak n Save are a bit on the higher side. But they make that up with quality of the produce they sell. At any given time of the day you walk it everything looks and feels fresh. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Sometimes feels the prices are a bit high but comparatively they are really good in terms of quality.

Good green grocery store with plenty of local and NZ sourced produce. Produce is fresh and there's a good range. Look out for the seasonal produce specials. Onsite butcher is great and has a quality selection of meats. Theres also basic groceries like tea, coffee etc but prices for those are very inflated so shop with care. The price of convenience. Parking outside is plentiful and access is easy.
