M. T.I have found Garden of York supplies the best large, fresh, crisp, lettuces. We make it a priority to buy their produce whenever we travel past. Disappointed that they aren’t located closer to Palmerston North as it would be my go to regular vegie shop.

D. S.The sort of old-style family market garden stalls that have been making memories for decades, with the bonus of many locally sourced organic products as well. If you have empty egg boxes, take them in, and be prepared for the least expensive heritage and exotic vegetables anywhere.
M. E.Great produce, reasonable prices, good selection. Only downside is they discount bulk purchases bagged in prepackaged plastic bags, but don't discount the equivalent weight bagged in customers own bags. They should help people reduce there plastic waste more.

P. C.Between Wellington and Whanganui this market gardener is unbeatable for fresh produce. They have the best fresh seasonal vegetable as well as other local produce and a full range of other fruit and vegetables.
Look them up on Google Maps and call in next time you are passing. Highly recommend.

N. B.We love the big car park to turn into on a busy highway also see a long way so you can pull out again fresh fruit and veges which are priced better than the local supermarket.
Also have trolleys and baskets to carry your purchases . Staff are always friendly and polite and they also have a good selection of flower and veges plants bread eggs etc.
We enjoy visiting and crunching into fresh fruit on the way home 😊
