Best fruit and vege prices ever! Totally worth the drive from nelson. We easily save $40 to $50 on our shop each week. And great quality. Big queues sometimes and best to get there early in the day. But very worth it!

If you want delicious fruit and fresh veg this Farmshop is the place to get it. PYO is popular with the locals, it's an experience in itself to shop here; fill a wheelbarrel full of fruit&veg for a fraction of the price that you'd pay at a supermarket! And the produce quality is pretty good too, especially the big juicy delicious strawberries! This isn't a place to wear your heals ladies: it's gravel all the way to the cashier, but they do offer EFTPOS which makes it convenient for shoppers Summer Season runs from December through to mid April. And Farmshop Fridays runs from May to the end of November. .

Good shop for vegetable but if you wanna return something after paying bills they don't get to back goods (means they don't give u money transfer) u'll have to buy other things

For a long time this has been the biggest local alternative to supermarket veg so very popular because of price and the vast array trucked in. There are other places as good or better and they can tell you where each food was grown. Last time I was there they had nothing grown organically whereas I'm finding more and more in other places. Good if you are ok with spray on your veg!

I think I visited on a bad day as staff were not really that helpful but they did look pretty busy. Used to get some good bargains here but personally I find the whole set up too difficult to deal with. Lines of customers around the stands so you can't get to brouse around, long waits in line, parking can be pretty crammed. I don't this the hassle is worth it to get your veges and fruit. I am sure by all the customers there that this is not a problem for most.
