Wow, loved the ice creams here. We had a choice of Blueberry, Strawberry, Boysenberry, or mixed berry. We had boysenberry and loved it. The vanilla ice cream used for the base was smooth and tasty, blended with tasty frozen fruit. Gives the Mangere Strawberry Farm a run for their money in value and taste.

Absolutely amazing blueberry ice cream and frozen yogurt in a waffle cone! I could not believe the serving size for the “regular” cone... I almost couldn’t eat it all. (But I did!!) They have plenty of parking, outdoor seating, a play area for kids, and rest rooms. They also sell fresh and frozen blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, as well as jellies and jams. Great service and good prices, too! Don’t miss this place when you are in the Bay of Plenty! They close at 4 PM, (and are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) so get there in time to get your amazing treat!

One of the local berry farms, the blueberry corner has expanded from a place to buy or pick berries to a destination where you can go to for an hour or two. Not quite as commercialised as Julian's, which mostly means it's a bit quieter & more relaxed. Aside from the berries on offer they also offer juice, jams, chocolates & relish to take home. They have coffee, various berry ice creams and lots of tasty cakes, slices, muffins etc to eat on site. There's outdoor seating, some under cover to escape from the sun, and a play area with a climbing frame & an enormous jumping pillow to keep energetic kids occupied. There's three pens of chickens and a talkative parrot to engage with also.

Massive portions of ice cream and very friendly staff. The blueberries are 10/10, amazing flavour. And sugar free blueberry jam! Great for diabetics and lowcarbers!

Our 4th year now of going to Blueberry corner as a whanau of 4 while on our yearly holiday at Awakeri hot springs! We always pack a picnic lunch & spend the afternoon there finishing off with one of their infamous berry fruity ice creams! Generously sized, extremely delicious, either served in a cobenhagen cone or a tub depending on what you prefer! If you're passing by Blue berry corner & feel like an icecream I definitely recommend you give them a try you won't regret it! They also sell strawberries & blueberries + a few other homely favourites! A bouncy pillow & petting animals for the kids & a shaded seating area of chairs & tables to be seated at. Good honest kiwi service but be prepared for the wait especially during the Summer months, so what are you waiting for grab yourself a yummy fruity icecream! 👌 Our Yearly Summer Ice Cream 🍦🍦🍦 Whilst staying at Awakeri Hot Springs we always make a trip to Blueberry Corner! Today our Whanau of 5 popped into have an ice cream absolutely delicious & many berry flavors to choose from! They also sell fresh punets of blueberries & strawberries. They have a playground & bouncy pillow for the children plenty of shaded seating table areas to enjoy your treat. As well as ice creams they sell smoothies sorbets + hot drinks. They have a toilet for disabled people lots of parking spaces. Pop on into Blueberry Corner if you're passing through & try one of their ice creams you will not regret it! Delicious ice-creams! They were made of real fresh fruit. You have the choice of the taste. I think they also had a mixed of berries among them. Great experience and a really nice stop on the way back to Wellington. We could not find any better place for a recreational break. We sat down outside of the shop and with our ice-creams and the sunshine warming our backs... that seemed just like paradise. Before to hit back the road again, we bought some fresh blackberries and boysenberries to brought back home. We made delicious muffins with them and a tart. To summarize, that a nice corner that I recommend!

Great place to take a travel break. Their fruit is grown under cover, so spray free. Their fruit ice-creams are huge and delicious, the staff are friendly, the bakery items are fresh and absolutely delicious as is the coffee. There is a lot of safe space and equipment for children to let off steam after being confined in a vehicle. A cockatiel and lots of poultry add to the entertainment while comfortable and shaded tables and chairs are available for adults who don't want to sit on the grassy slope in the shade of the hedge. There are well constructed traffic entrance and exit ways and a fair amount of parking. I never go past this place unless they are closed for winter or I am too early in the morning or late in the evening!

Considering its on a main HiWay access to and fro is excellent.The range of available frozen and bottled products is 1st class. The range of berry ice cream is top notch,service lovely as are the staff. Always full of customer local and international,outdoor seating is huge with a play area for small kids. It also has a chicken hatchery to view. A must if making your way to Whakatane through the summer months.

A nice little farm place where you can get jam and ice cream and fresh berries, sitting outside you'll see chicken and a parrot. Kids can go to the playground while the adults can unwind under the tent for a cool down.

Must stop over every time we drive past - best berry ice cream you’ll ever have. Their serving sizes are huge, so if you get a large cone, be prepared to indulge! Fresh berry punnets are also great, along with jams and sauces that make fantastic gifts for friends and family. All made from local produce.
