First of all, King living should be thankful to have a person like Esther who knows what the best customer service is!
I have waited for my sofa for 4 months but end up getting delivered with several black marks on them. I was very disappointed as it was more than $5k and there was certain level of expectation about the product with that price.
Esther handled really well with this issue and she even totally understood how customer would feel with the situation.
I would give zero star rating for getting a faulty product with 4months of waiting but Esther deserves 5 stars therefore I compromised with 4 stars.
*** King living, you should be ashamed of your standard practice regarding how to handle with faulty products.

Beautiful new Marble table has what appears to be water marks on it. After contacting King Living Charlotte was very friendly, polite and efficient. Initially the customer service team she reached out to didn’t respond with a resolution. However, Mark the showroom manager, has followed up and rectified the situation. I appreciate the follow up and customer service in turning this around.

Bedside table arrived with a faulty drawer that can’t close. The wait for the order is understandable due to COVID and made-to-order. But I’m disappointed with the quality and wonder how the products pass the final QA, or do they even check that.
Update: contacted by King Living and will be getting a replacement. After sale service is prompt.

We bought the Serenade bed. The delivery took longer than expected due to AKL lockdown however communication was fantastic from beginning to end. We are so happy with our purchase, the bed is beautifully made!! Definitely recommend

We purchased the King Living Max with the ottoman after viewing online which was a bit scary but the team there were absolutely fantastic. We received professional, helpful and honest advice and our enquiries were always answered super promptly. We are absolutely delighted with our purchase. It arrived on time and is super comfortable and really stylish. We love the modular design as it works for family TV time but can be easily configured for entertaining. Rating 10/10 for the sofa as well as the customer service.

Ordered an 8 seater table on the 1st April 2021 and didn't arrive until the 28th July 2021. I know that Covid did cause delay but over this time we only received one update after chasing three times. When our table arrived one of the legs did not connect as a part was broken. I then had to call Kingliving for a follow up (when it should have been Kingliving calling me) and was told that the driver had logged it with the Customer Service team would get back to me in 3 days time. We had already sold our previous table so had nothing to use. I had to offer a solution to get a loan table in the meantime - something I would think King living would suggest. This was delivered (a brand new table) and the bolts to connect this together weren't in the box. Does King Living have any quality control? I then had to follow up to call to find out what was happening with our table we have ordered and paid for in full, I was told that someone would find out and call me back within two hours. I didn't receive any calls so called back the next day to get an answer. I was told that they were unsure on if there was going to be a replacement leg or that the leg would be fixed and they were unsure how long it would take because of Covid. This experience has been extremely poor. Firstly, lack of communication with updates on the delays on the shipments, secondly quality control and thirdly speed to remedy. Ps. still waiting for our table to arrive and it is now end of September. I also received an after service email asking how King Living did. I filled out the response, similar toto this one and never heard anything back. Customer Service and quality control seem to be non existent. UPDATE: I called King Living and asked for an update on the table and was advised that our table would be sent the following week. The table arrived and was the exact broken table. This is beyond a joke now.
UPDATE: I am happy to say that there has been a new person appointed, Esther has looked over my file and was mortified with this experience. I have now changed this review from 1 star to 3 stars as she has gone above and beyond to get this rectified. Thanks Esther!

Ahmed was a fab salesman. Not pushy but attentive, informative and thorough. I wished they had more vibrancy in their velvet colours, but we have been looking for a good corner couch with good depth and choice of velvet as a covering for months so we’re very excited to find it. And the moss green is a great colour. Can’t comment on the quality of the couch til it arrives but three month timeframe for delivery is quick in these Covid times. A very pleasant shopping environment and the sale price was really good. Also the couch looked bigger in person than on their site so it’s so worth going in to see them. Very happy.

I just wanted to say we got excellent after care service. A couple of sofas got damaged in transit and were replaced. Can not ask for better service. My sofas and beds are excellent quality and very comfortable.

We purchased the Jasper Metro in leather for our apartment. A beautiful modular suite. A small problem with one of the shelves, one phone call and this was replaced. We then purchased the chair to go with the lounge suite, great addition. Happened to bump into Mr King in Vancouver at the opening of the new King Living store. We have also purchased an ottoman with the wooden tray top. Unfortunately the leather colour we had for our lounge suite was no longer available so we went for a fabric covering, again great service. Next on the bucket list is a new mattress. The Jasper Metro is fantastic for apartment living so versatile. Please open a store in Wellington

Bought a Jasper sofa and Symphony bed and they are both amazing. Look great and very comfortable. Excellent customer service. I had been sent the wrong size bed and they fixed it in my favour. Highly recommend

We came across the Newmarket store, and absolutely loved the furniture. Store was great, with unique and great quality design - so we decided to purchase most of the furniture for our new apartment at Kings Living.
Sales experience was on point, and it was only after paying the deposit that i came across Kings living google feedback.
I got worried - but as it turns out, there was nothing to worry about.
For us every single part of the customer journey was consistently top notch. Delivery was delayed by a week - but this is reasonable and to be expected. Most importantly we were kept informed every step of the way. Delivery guys, were exceptional! They were considerate and precise in assembly! I'm not sure what went wrong a year ago (negative google feedback), but from our experience I would highly recommend King Living!

We were very close to buy a sofa from this company but due to the lack of a good customer service as demonstrated by these reviews we lost our interest. To be fair, as I haven't bought anything from this company, I gave them 3star as this is the average of Google star at this stage. Another point is that I cannot see any product price in their website which causes us to lose our confidence in their fairness too.

So I bought a piece of display furniture during a sale. Really nice design, and ticked all the boxes that I needed in a couch: good leather, big enough for a tall man to lie on, but small enough to fit in a small living room, and breaks down for if we have to move. Everything went well in the showroom, but when it was delivered the internal part in the sofa was broken, which meant I couldn't use the electrical components. This was not from the delivery guys (who did a great job), it was most likely from when it was stored at the depot.
The electrical components/connections were damaged which meant I had to have it fixed twice in under 4 months, but when we got through to customer service they sent over some very good third party tradesmen who did a fantastic job fixing and replacing parts, and educating me on power recliner electronics.

Since my first negative review in 2017, the customer services improved significantly. I couldn’t believe it was the same place - everything changed. They learnt from their mistakes and now the best furniture store!!! Great quality of products and easy delivery. Highly recommended!
