We have always enjoyed the variety, quality and at times quirkiness of this furniture outlet. We first shopped at the Auckland branch in the mid 90's and have a wonderful glory box in our home that can attest to this. Last week we again "weakened" buying four chairs for the dining table. Always a great experience as we have never been let down.

Great place and lovely helpful staff. We had been to many stores to find bedside cabinets, without much luck. We finally found what we were looking for. Had to wait a week or two for them to arrive, and are very happy with the service.

Love the furniture in this place . Staff are lovely and helpful. I own quite a few pieces of furniture from Early Settlers and will no doubt buy more them. What can I say, I’m addicted !

I bought several items over the past year: sofa, table, chairs and decorative items. Good quality products, really enjoy our purchases and although there were some issues along the way with delivery (eventful times we live in), Sue handled this very professionally and in a customer oriented way. So 5 stars for products and customer service!

I called the Christchurch store to check availability of a clock and spoke with a really lovely lady, Jess. She advised that according to the computer stock there was the clock I had chosen available, but asked for my phone number and advised that she would call back after she had physically checked the storeroom. This she did and offered to pack the clock and courier to me, advising me it would take a few days to get to me. Sure enough, the clock arrived in the time frame suggested and was in perfect order and I absolutely love my purchase. Thank you very much for great service.

Different.Not everyone's style. If you like this style they're ok

Great furniture... However we had an issue with a piece we brought... Took forever to get resolved... And we ended up going in store to swap over for the replacement... Thankful that this was sorted... And whilst they did apologise... They struggled to find us in the system and wouldn't take our feedback... Except for saying that it would help if we had the invoice number... Seriously??! Doubt we will be back

Always had good service & shared a laugh with the people working here. Sure you have to wait for the product to be ordered in, but this is the same at any furniture store I've been to in Christchurch. Don't mind waiting to get the product I want. Picked up some good deals in the last few years. Good service & good deals keep us going back when needing to update the next item of furniture.

Really good selection of nice things for the home and helpful staff, unfortunately most larger items are not kept in stock in chch so there was significant delays from Auckland and overseas that made getting some items impossible due to the delays.
