Bought the hallway table, bedside cabinets, and Dressing Table With Mirror 3 months ago. I’d say it’s the best quality of wooden furniture in Christchurch! They don’t have a 2.2m TV cabinet so we bought one at a nationwide department store. It makes me to confirm that Mainland Furniture definitely has the high quality of wooden furniture. Would def purchase more furniture from you guys if needed. :)

Being in Wellington, I was dubious about buying furniture sight unseen from Christchurch. We couldn't find a dining suite we liked locally but liked one Mainland Furniture had on their website and the price was very reasonable, including delivery to Wellington. I also ordered a hall table I fell in love with, something else I hadn't been able to find locally! Such an easy process, good communication fast delivery, well packaged furniture, and we love it! I recently bought a queen size bed from Mainland Furniture.The staff were very helpful and friendly. Delivery was prompt and well organised. Assembly of my slat bed was incredibly easy. I was very pleased with my purchase. Previously I have bought a coffee table, a bedside cabinet and a chest of drawers. All items have been reasonably priced and of a great standard. Great shopping with no pressure.

If your after value for money this is the place to go. We purchased the Vienna Oak bedroom suite which is completely made of solid wood even the backs. As a shopfitter by trade, I am very happy with my investment, and know because of the high level of construction that these pieces will last a lifetime. The staff were very helpful and they also got delivered to our house in Rangiora within an hour of leaving the store. We will definitely be buying from Mainland Furniture in the future.

Such a great store, I bought a nearly full house lot of furniture 12 or so years ago, and they have stood the test of time. Now my children needed new drawers, so I knew just where to go to get them. I knew Mainland had great quality furniture, and that it would be a good price, so I didn't even bother shopping around. I chose the drawers and paid over the phone. It's great to buy something and know it's going to last. Kevin is great to deal with, great customer service.

This shop has a very small front but extends backwards into a large showroom, a good range of good, solid wooden furniture at reasonable prices and an easy pick-up point at the back. The staff were very helpful.

Purchased through Trade Me. Listing stated NZ Pine, everything else also indicated quality. Completed transaction and get a surprise call the following day. The product is in a container ship heading to NZ from Vietnam. A full refund was offered, but declined as I wanted the item. Greatful for the contact, but a little disappointed that the NZ pine product was actually made in Vietnam and that an auction could run for an item that wasn't even in the country. Maybe wording on the listing to explain this would have been helpful. It's a real shame that we can send NZ pine to Vietnam, turn it into furniture and ship it back cheaper than we can produce in NZ. Product has now arrived, and I am happy with the quality. Freight company were excellent and overall happy with purchase.

Plenty of stock available and we were able to go from seeing an oak bookcase online to viewing it in the showroom, purchasing and having the piece delivered that same afternoon. Found this store on the internet while searching for a bookcase and drove down to Sydenham for a look. The showroom has a small street frontage but when you go in and wander around there is a huge range in all the various rooms. We found exactly what we wanted in a very solid oak book case. The guys loaded a very well wrapped and protected one into our suv and we are very pleased with how it looks in the lounge. This place is definitely worth checking out.

We found Mainland on Trade Me, then checked them out online. Their products are of the highest quality, the Oak furniture is solid oak , not cheap veneer. There service is amazing.
