We are thrilled with our eight Berlin dining chairs from Woodwrights. We wanted custom made dining chairs, in a fabric of our choosing and preferably made in NZ . Woodwrights seemed the best option and we were not disappointed.The quality is superb and they are extremely comfortable. Dealing with Woodwrights was very straightforward, good communication and delivered on time. Highly recommended John and Liz Greytown

We got a Kamo Dining table from Woodrights, and we couldn't be happier. Beautiful craft that is becoming harder to find for a fair price. Locally made in Motueka. Turnaround was quicker than expected, and the delivery was easy. Would recommend highly to others.

We are on to our second piece of Woodwrights furniture and both purchases were made very easy and love both our dining table and bed frame! Both are beautifully made and we've had no problems with production or delivery times and great communication via emails when deciding what pieces we were going to buy also wood samples sent out quickly!

I asked Woodwrights to make me this beautiful set of drawers with complete confidence from my experience of many years of contact with them. They are professional and considerate in all dealings that we have had with them and their products are excellent. These drawers make my morning routine so much easier. They are very capacious and the drawers run so smoothly. The handles are easy to use and closing against the drawer face means they are not in the way as we walk passed. I can wholeheartedly recommend using Woodwrights if you need new furniture as you will receive truly professional service throughout your experience.

My client is so very happy with her two chairs made by Woodwrights. I'd also like to mention how impressed I was with the level of service with this furniture. Woodwrights' care and attention is always outstanding, but in this case they went above and beyond. Thank you.

I cannot praise Woodwrights highly enough. They were easy to deal with prior to placing our order (a bedroom suite), and most accommodating with our requirements. On order placement we were given a delivery date which was met. Good communications during the production process. The suite is beautifully crafted, made of solid timber and I am certain will outlast us. We were totally happy with the purchasing and manufacturing process, and absolutely delighted with the end product. If you choose these people you will not be disappointed.

Great service, prompt responses, friendly and helpful advice. Desk is a beautiful much admired piece, solid, well built and perfectly finished. Robustly packaged on delivery. Buying off these guys was a very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely love my new oak dining table. Having looked over and over again in countless furniture shops without success for the right table to replace one we'd had for over 25 years, we came across Woodwrights website and found exactly what we'd been looking for. Ordinarily we would never buy a table or any furniture without seeing it for real before ordering but we decided to take a chance and we were not disappointed. We received regular updates on when to expect the finished product and we are overjoyed with the result. The craftmanship is second to none. Could not be happier!

I bought two tall Darfield ash bookcases with dark brown stain. They shipped to Finland yesterday along with my other household stuff in a container. The quality of these solid wood bookcases is absolutely immaculate and I recommend Darfield cases as well as Woodwrights in general to everybody who dislike MDF and prefer furniture that is bequeathable :-)

As an Interior Designer, its always a pleasure working with Woodwrights Furniture on various projects with my clients. The range is brilliant as is the attention to detail across the board. I cannot speak more highly of the team at Woodwrights, both the product and the service is second to none, from the initial point of contact to delivery, they very professional and all about client satisfaction.

Custom Njord Dining table - blonde solid oak 30mm We are so happy with our table! Solid American Oak, not Asian made "engineered wood". Woodwrights were fantastic in helping us customise the design and sent wood samples so we could choose the finish we wanted. They also communicated to update us several times during the construction letting us know when we could expect the table. It came fantastically packaged and was simple to put together. (I have added a couple of photos with our old rimu chairs as the new ones hadn't arrived and the table has now turned into an at home workstation due to Covid-19 so I can't update for a while :)

We bought a Dom bedroom suite from this company at the beginning of this year and 3 months in I still go to bed every night and wake up every morning absolutely grateful that we chose Woodwrights. The furniture is well crafted and absolutely beautiful - they certainly are heirloom pieces. The process of purchasing this furniture was also a good experience - their customer service was friendly and warm and always professional. Our questions were answered promptly and nothing seemed like too much trouble. I can highly recommend Woodwrights and fully intend to purchase from them in the future.

Woodwrights made an 8-seat round dining table for us in late 2020. We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the table and absolutely love it. Their customer service has been excellent and they kept us up to date with the progress of the table all the way through from order submission through to delivery. They even managed to deliver on New Years Eve as they had committed to us having the table by the end of the year! The colour matching we needed with the wood was pretty much spot on to what they described and sent us in the samples. All in all, a great experience purchasing from Woodwrights and we are glad we supported a local business rather than a larger, mass-producing business for our table. Definitely recommend this company.

We bought a bed frame from Woodwrights, and could not be more delighted with the product. It's a beautifully crafted and finished piece of furniture. Everything went smoothly with the order, their communication was good, and when we had a problem putting the frame together, they responded well and sent someone out the next day to put it together for us. We ordered a wooden desk for my home office. Woodwrights were amazing and kept in touch with us throughout the process. There were a few delays due to Covid, but nothing really too dire. We looked everywhere for the perfect coffee table and couldn’t find it. Then we were visiting relatives and fell in love with theirs. They had had it made by Woodwrights and so we asked for a quote to have the same table made. Woodwrights let us know how long it would take to make and deliver and then emailed us with regular updates on when to expect it. We love the table. It is perfect.

Woodwrights are a great New Zealand manufacturing company. When inquiring about a console for a client they were extremely helpful, sending samples of timber quickly and answering questions promptly. Nothing is too much to ask and customising the handles to my clients preference was easily done. The end result is a timeless and gorgeous console that my clients love.

I ordered a table and chairs to be made by Woodwrights and I just could not be any more happier with the finished product. They were so professional and delivered on time. Even though they are in the south Island if you are in the Auckland area do not be put off by that, they have an amazing showroom in Auckland that you can see furniture and fabric's and all the different samples of wood. I recently ordered a Njord dining table in Blonde Ash. This was ordered online. The team kept in contact with me throughout the process. When I received the table, I was not completely satisfied with the outcome as the finish was too yellow and it was not what I had ordered. The staff were very professional. My table was couriered back to Motueka restrained and couriered back to me all at their cost. My table is beautiful - I love it.. This is an honourable company who practices in a professional way. As an Auckland customer, it was very helpful to be able to view furniture at Woodwrights' East Tamaki showroom. Huxley was always extremely patient with a couple of oldies trying to decide exactly what we wanted! We visited about three times. We needed a dining table to seat 10 and after much back and forth and with Huxley's pleasant advice, we decided on exactly what suits our dining area in our new house. Initially, we sought just a table. Our final purchase was table, matching shelving and two sofas! We are very happy with the quality of our new furniture.
